Kamitani uses a dropkick and a reverse Boston crab, but Rina breaks it up with a dropkick. Deathyama drives Kamitani into the corner and charges, but Kamitani sticks her leg out each time. Deathyama delivers a double chop. Rina takes Kamitani down with an outer leg sweep, but Hina interferes. Kamitani goes for the cover, but it's only a two count. Rina tries a small package on Kamitani and an inverted pin, but Deathyama assists her. Rinami goes for a Hydrangea, but Hinami cuts it off. Rinami and Deathyama both attempt clotheslines, but Kamitani dodges them and exchanges dropkicks with Hinami. Kamitani hits a knee kick followed by a running shooting star on Rinami. The referee counts to three, and Kamitani gets the pinfall victory over Rinami

Iida dodged Maika's lariat and delivered a series of dropkicks, a body slam, and stomps. She drove Iida into the corner and delivered a series of reverse chops. Iida was about to be thrown into the corner but refused and continued to deliver reverse chops. Maika charged forward but was countered with a chop. Iida delivered a series of mounted elbows. Iida went for a Northern Lights suplex but Maika escaped with a knee and delivered a shoulder tackle. Iida took the hit and got back up, and they exchanged shoulder tackles. Maika won the exchange but Iida quickly fought back. Iida delivered a body slam followed by a missile kick. Maika then hit a Northern Lights suplex, but it was only a two-count. Maika then got behind Iida and applied a sleeper hold. Iida tried to escape to the ropes, but Maika pulled back and hit a Rock Bottom. When Iida kicked out, Maika wrapped her arm around Iida's and slammed her onto the mat. Iida couldn't kick out, giving Maika her second consecutive win to start the tournament

She then goes for a reverse figure-four leglock. Kid escapes, but Iwatani stomps on his back. Iwatani delivers a series of body slams and body presses. Kid survives, and Iwatani puts him on the ropes and lands a middle kick to his back. She takes him down in the center and goes for the cover. Kid kicks out, and Iwatani applies an armbar followed by a camel clutch. Iwatani twists Kid's neck. Kid is thrown into the ropes and shouts, "Don't mess with me!" before delivering a crossbody attack. Kid dodges Iwatani's standing moonsault but lands a 619. After successfully landing a standing moonsault, she prepares for a fisherman suplex. Iwatani breaks free and delivers an elbow. Kid retaliates, and they exchange elbows. Kid charges forward, but Iwatani delivers a back kick followed by a kick to the head. Iwatani attempts a diving foot stomp, but Kid clears it. Kid dodges Iwatani's dash, but Iwatani dodges and goes for a reverse Boston crab. Kid escapes, and Iwatani delivers a low dropkick followed by a dive. Kid dodges and hits a sling blade. Kid goes for a Shiranui, but Iwatani counters. Kid delivers a dropkick, and Iwatani sends him to the apron, but Kid hits a DDT over the ropes. Kid then does a plancha to the outside.10minutes have passed. Kid brings Iwatani back into the ring and attempts a fisherman suplex. Iwatani counters, and Kid hits a swinging DDT and a moonsault press. When Iwatani countered, Kid went for the Kicchan Bomb. Iwatani caught it and delivered a modified backbreaker. She then slammed him forward and, foreshadowing the finish, delivered a moonsault press. She pulled Kid up and prepared for a dragon suplex. Kid resisted and slammed her forward. Iwatani countered, and both went down. Kid jumped on her, but Iwatani dodged and delivered a thrust kick and a German suplex. She lifted Kid up and grabbed his neck for a submission hold, a modified dragon sleeper. Kid tapped out, and Iwatani secured her first victory in the league.

"I think it's been over four years since my last singles match, and I realized once again how strong the icon of Stardom really is. I was able to use counters like my Casadora-style Kicchan Bomb to counter Mayu's Dragon Suplex and German Suplex, but the Red Champion, the icon of Stardom, Mayu Iwatani is really tough, and I felt that I still have a long way to go. However, compared to my singles match four years ago when I was skinny and not yet physically developed, I think I was able to push myself harder this time. Momo delivers a series of hair whips and stomps on her head. She goes for a body slam and a cover, but AZM kicks out. Immediately afterwards, Momo applies a sharp reverse Boston crab. She delivers a series of stomps to the back followed by a soccer ball kick. AZM quickly kicks out of the cover and lands an elbow. Momo says, "That's not all I've got!" and provokes AZM to attack her. She corners AZM and stomps on her face. AZM is about to be thrown into the ropes, but she goes for a hurricanrana and a modified Manji hold. AZM goes for a brainbuster. Momo counters and slams AZM to the mat as she jumps on her. AZM sends Momo out of the ring with a hurricanrana. When Momo makes a comeback, AZM hits her head with a head scissors over the ropes and delivers a diving foot stomp. When Momo kicks out, AZM applies an armbar. AZM jumps in but Momo catches her. AZM rolls her up and delivers a high kick. Momo blocks it and counters the triangle kick with a high kick of her own and a Soumatou. When Momo kicks out, she goes for a chicken wing face lock. When AZM escapes, Momo delivers a powerful kick to her back and a Soumatou from the second position. When AZM kicks out, Momo goes for the Tequila. AZM dodges and grabs Momo's arm from the corner and takes her to the ground. AZM applies a Mystica-style armlock. Momo escapes but AZM signals her finish and jumps in. Momo resists and AZM rolls her up from a head scissors position. Momo kicks out and delivers a kick to the head. Momo goes for the Tequila Sunrise. AZM attempted a pinfall, but Momo countered with a thrust kick. Momo then applied a chicken wing face lock. She took AZM to the center and secured a body lock. AZM gave up, giving Momo her first official match victory. After the match, Momo shook AZM's hand and congratulated him on his efforts

"Yes, it was good, but wow, I fought AZM at last year's 5☆STAR too, and he's really improving quickly. He attacked me so hard I thought my left shoulder was going to break, and I was pretty damaged, but I managed to win, so I've finally earned 2 points. I have to keep working hard from now on. Konami takes the lead with a soccer ball kick. Nakano catches her kick from the front and delivers an RKO. She drives Nakano to the ropes and sends her out of the ring, where Nakano attempts a plancha to the outside. However, Konami dodges and delivers a sliding kick on the apron. Konami slams Nakano into the fence. When Nakano returns, Konami delivers a heel drop and stomps. She stomps on Nakano's face and goes for a figure-four neck lock. She reverses the hold and repeatedly slams Nakano's forehead into the mat. Konami then applies a sleeper hold. Nakano escapes, but Konami calmly takes an elbow and gets back up. She drives Nakano into the corner, stomps on her face, and charges. Nakano dodges but takes a counter middle kick. Nakano throws Konami into the corner and delivers a running elbow attack and a diving body attack. Konami counters, and Nakano prepares for a German suplex. Konami dodges and applies a sleeper hold. Konami taunts Nakano and gets back up after taking an elbow. They exchange elbows and low kicks. Konami charges forward and Nakano lands an elbow. Konami retaliates, and both exchange high kicks. Both are down. Konami applies a front neck lock. Nakano manages to reach the ropes. Konami delivers a sliding kick followed by a dropkick. Nakano counters, and Konami goes for a triangle hold. Nakano reverses and goes for the pin, but it's only a two count. Nakano catches Konami's kick and delivers a back drop. Nakano climbs to the corner, but Konami catches up and applies a front neck lock. She then drops him in a neck chancery-like position. Nakano kicks out, and Konami goes for a triangle hold again. Nakano evades and counters with a series of spin kicks. Konami dodges and applies a sleeper hold. Nakano slams her backwards, and10minutes have passed. Nakano lands a spin kick followed by a Tiger Suplex. Konami can't kick out, and Nakano gets the three count.

"I got beaten by the big Himeka in the first match, so I'm finally getting my first win. I kicked her out before Konatan could get into a hold of me! I think of this league tournament as a journey to collect fragments of dreams every year, and this year too I want to throw everyone around, collect all the fragments of dreams, and complete the most beautiful puzzle in the universe, so please believe in me and follow me. Even if she wins against Natsuko Tora today, her winning streak will not change, but she is aiming for a perfect record in order to win her first championship. She will want to avoid Natsuko's expected foul play and secure a victory for sure. On the other hand, Natsuko started with a loss. As the only entry from Oedo Tai, she must avoid another loss. In her match against Shuri she showed a relatively orthodox attack, but will she unleash her true heel version against Utami? Will Natsuko's actions hold the key to victory?
As Utami enters the ring, Natsuko attacks. She slams Utami, who is still wearing her mask, into the corner, snatches the mask, and stomps on it. Natsuko shouts, "You weakling!" and attacks Utami with the mask. She throws the mask away and throws Utami out of the ring, slamming her against the fence. Natsuko tries again, but is slammed back down. Utami brings Natsuko back into the ring and makes a comeback. She slams Natsuko with a body slam and then applies a camel clutch. As Utami tries to dash, Natsuko grabs her hair to stop her. However, Utami dodges a senton. Natsuko also dodges Utami and delivers a cannonball. Utami counters, and Natsuko hits a lariat. Utami withstands it and hits a lariat of her own. Natsuko fakes a lariat but scratches Utami's face. Utami attempts a German suplex, but Natsuko retaliates. After an exchange of German suplexes, both go down. Utami is the first to get up and throws Natsuko backwards from an Argentine back suplex. Utami, having been countered, applies a sleeper hold followed by a reverse slam and then a body scissors sleeper hold. When Natsuko escapes, Utami goes for an Argentine backbreaker. Natsuko escapes and accidentally hits the referee with a lariat. Utami chases after Natsuko, who has gone outside the ring. Natsuko attacks with a chain outside the ring, then pulls out a chair and hits Utami with it before delivering a senton with the chair. The referee returns and the count continues outside the ring. Natsuko returns with the chain. Utamithe 19count. Natsuko attacks the referee and prepares the chain. She attempts a Shoten on top of it, but Utami delivers a German suplex onto the chain. Natsuko delivers a lariat. Utami kicks out, and Natsuko slams her down with a Shoten. Utami kicks out again, and Natsuko delivers a body slam followed by a frog splash. Utami takes the full force of the hit butthe 2count. Natsuko takes the chain to the corner. Utami gets up and attempts a superplex. Natsuko wraps the chain around her neck. Shimi applies the Argentine Leglock and applies a chokehold. Natsuko comes out onto the apron and applies a chain chokehold. Then Natsuko is called for a foul.

The day before, Kyona lost to her rival Hayashishita Utami, so this is a chance for her to make a fresh start, but with Shuri as her opponent, it is bound to be a tough fight. However, if Kyona, who was unable to reach Iwatani's red belt, can defeat Shuri here, it may raise the momentum for her to challenge for the title again. Kyoka sends Shuri flying with shoulder tackles three times, then lands a running body press and goes for a pin, but Shuri kicks out. Kyoka's corner lariat is also blocked. Shuri goes for a hanging armbar. Shuri stomps on Kyoka's face and then on her face in the corner. She lands a series of corner knee attacks and goes for the cover. Kyoka tried to lift her up but Shuri took her to the ground with a front neck lock. Kyoka got up and hit Shuri with a brainbuster, a body slam, and a diving body press to her back. Kyoka caught Shuri's kick and went for a dragon screw followed by a scorpion deathlock. Shuri escaped and Kyoka delivered a low dropkick and a corner lariat. She then tried to hit a jungle buster but Shuri resisted in the center of the ring and applied a sleeper hold.Tenminutes have passed. Shuri applies an armbar and transitions into an armlock. Kyona escapes, and Shuri jumps on her, but is slammed down with a powerbomb. Kyona prepares for a hammer throw. Shuri endures, dodges the lariat, and delivers a high kick and a mountain fold. Kyona counters, and Shuri goes from an armbar to an armlock. She goes for the Suzaku, and Kyona endures but finally gives up, giving Shuri her second consecutive win to start the tournament.

"My second match was against Jungle Kyona. She was incredible. I almost lost consciousness at one point, but I was so excited. This was only my first singles match against Jungle Kyona, and I intend to win the 5★STAR GP, but Jungle Kyona is really interesting. But just like Natsuko yesterday, there are so many different wrestlers, and Stardom is just so much fun. Giulia dodges a big boot and a lariat, then hits a dropkick to the knee followed by an STF. Himeka escapes, and Giulia gets fired up and heads to the corner. Himeka gets up and prepares for a powerbomb. Giulia refuses, saying "No, no," and blocks it with a hurricanrana before charging forward. Himeka countered with a knee attack. Himeka knocked Giulia down with an elbow. Getting up, she shouted "Giulia!" and delivered a lariat. Himeka hit another lariat. Giulia countered, and Himeka went for an Argentine backbreaker. She slammed Giulia forward, but Giulia kicked out. Himeka declared she was going for the finish and delivered a running powerbomb.15minutes had passed. She pinned Giulia for the three count, giving Himeka her second consecutive win and Giulia her first singles match loss in Stardom.

—Actress girl'Z has a main event at Korakuen Hall, but what do you think about joining Stardom and taking on a main event at this stage?

"Yes, I hope that all the 5☆STAR members will keep winning as a unit, and that we can have a DDM showdown in the finals. I strongly feel that I want to be the one standing there."
--In DDM, the other three are Artist of Stardom champions. Himeka joined later. She will challenge for the Goddess of Stardom title, but since there is no team belt, are you thinking of surpassing the other members in singles matches here?
"That's right. I think everyone probably thinks this, but I'm the only one without a belt, so at the Yokohama Budokan event on August22ndand23rd, I23rd, so I'll aim to get my first belt there, and then a singles belt. I'll be aiming for either the white or the red one."
