In this tournament, Shuri and Maika are playing in a double-header of official matches. Furthermore, they must play three matches to win the championship. The first match of the double-header is a showdown between two Donna del Mondo gym members. Shuri currently has a 3-2 record, while Maika has a 4-1 record, including a victory against Hayashishita Utami. If they can score two points here, the rest will depend on Utami's result. If Shuri scores two points, she will keep her hopes alive for the final official match against Utami…
As Shuri approaches and offers a handshake, Maika slaps her hand and the gong sounds. The match starts with a ground battle, with both wrestlers grappling for arms. Shuri goes for a headlock and takes the match to the ground, but Maika quickly gets up and sends Shuri flying with a shoulder tackle. Maika locks both arms on the ground, but Shuri escapes. Maika charges, but Shuri dodges and delivers a soccer ball kick. She takes her to the center and delivers another one. She kicks from the front and goes for the cover, but it's only a two count. Shuri corners Maika and stomps on her throat. She charges into the corner and delivers a body slam followed by a knee attack. However, Maika manages to counter. Shuri then immediately goes for an armbar. She locks it in once, but Maika manages to escape. Shuri goes for a front neck chancery. Maika counters, and Shuri delivers a series of knees. Maika stops Shuri's charge with a hip throw, but Shuri counters again. Maika goes for an armbar, Shuri escapes, but Maika goes for an armbar. Shuri countered and assumed an armbar stance. Shuri transitioned from the armbar to an armlock. Maika dodged and Shuri charged in with a knee attack. Maika countered and Shuri grabbed her arm and applied a reverse figure-four leglock. Maika escaped and Shuri unleashed a series of middle kicks. Maika caught one but Shuri sent her flying with another middle kick. Shuri screamed and got up and Maika wanted to exchange elbows. Maika landed a powerful blow and Shuri taunted, "Come on!" Maika landed another powerful elbow. After an exchange of elbows, Shuri landed a knee attack, a thrust kick, and a kick to the face. Shuri landed a series of middle kicks on the downed Maika. As Maika tried to move forward, Shuri delivered a German suplex. Shuri was countered and declared she was going for the finish and dashed forward. Maika stopped her and delivered a spinebuster. When Shuri retaliated, Maika applied a chicken wing face lock. Shuri broke free and delivered a buzzsaw kick. Maika couldn't counter, and Shuri scored two points, keeping her hopes alive for the final official match against Utami

Kid throws Kamiya with an arm whip and delivers a dropkick. Kamiya retaliates with a dropkick of his own and attempts a reverse Boston crab. Kid rolls him up and hits him with a dropkick and a 619. He then attempts a standing moonsault, but only gets a two count. Kid charges forward, but Kamiya confuses him with a backflip and delivers a dropkick. Kid quickly gets up and delivers a dropkick from a mortar. Kamiya also quickly gets up and initiates an elbow exchange. Kamiya shouts, "That hurts, damn it!" and delivers a series of elbows followed by a kick to the face. When Kid goes down, Kamiya applies a reverse single leg Boston crab. Kid manages to escape. As Kamiya climbs to the corner, Kid delivers a superplex arm whip, a spinning diving body press, and a fisherman's suplex hold. Kid announces his finishing move and attempts a Kicchan Bomb. Kamiya yelled, "Don't underestimate me!" and delivered a dropkick followed by a knee kick. Kamiya's running shooting star was also dodged. Kid rolled up several times and then hit a codebreaker. When Kid dove, Kamiya countered with a dropkick and a missile kick. However, Kid's shoulder rose. Kamiya performed a backflip and slammed Kid forward in a key crusher position. However, her opponent, Death Yamasan, has gained momentum with consecutive wins at the Fukuoka event. If she defeats Giulia, she will finish the league with the same number of wins as the white belt champion
No handshake, the match begins with a "DEA-TH" greeting. As the gong sounds, Deathyama appeals to all four sides as usual. Then Giulia surprises him with a "Hell Thrust!" from behind. From behind, Giulia throws her T-shirt over Deathyama's head. Completely blocking his vision, she delivers a front kick. Deathyama dodges, then dodges Giulia's lariat and rolls her up for a pin. Giulia removes the T-shirt. Deathyama charges into the corner with a hellish thrust. Each time, Giulia sticks her leg out. Giulia jumps in and applies a figure-four leglock. Giulia declares, "It's over!" and lifts him up. Deathyama rolls her up, and Giulia rolls her up too. In the end, it's Giulia who gets the three count

"I went into the 5☆STAR GP undefeated, but I ended up losing three times. The first opponent I lost to was Himeka. I don't know yet who the final will be, but Himeka, Konami, and Tam. These three have all beaten me, so if one of them doesn't win, I'll be like, 'Huh?' Especially Himeka. I'm honestly disappointed that I lost to her. But Giulia starts with a loss. This is just the beginning. So, I think these three matches (that I lost) were valuable to me, and they were good experiences for me to step up from here, and they've made me even more motivated."
—Have you felt that the scrutiny from those around you is tighter than before?
"There were some challenges, and the hits were strong, so I wondered if it was really that difficult? My techniques are starting to be read quite well, but I think being able to divide into blocks and compete against so many different players in singles matches like this will be a huge plus for me going forward."

Nakano immediately goes for a German suplex. Iwatani dodges the Violet Shooting and goes for a reverse pin. She grabs Iwatani's kicking leg and delivers a dragon screw. Iwatani puts her right leg on the ropes and tightens the hold. Iwatani charges forward and delivers a dropkick to Nakano's right leg. Iwatani goes out onto the apron and delivers a legbreaker over the ropes. She climbs to the corner, but Nakano makes a comeback and throws her back into the ring. Nakano hangs her in mid-air on the corner with a dragon sleeper. Nakano drops a plancha onto Iwatani who has fallen to the ringside. When Nakano gets back into the ring, Iwatani dodges her dive and delivers a sling blade. After an exchange of elbows, Nakano charges forward and Iwatani delivers a thrust kick. Nakano retaliates with a counter spin kick. When Nakano climbs to the corner, Iwatani slaps her from below and follows up with a superplex Frankensteiner, missile kick and diving body press. Nakano kicks out and Iwatani screams, "It's over!" As Iwatani assumed the Dragon stance, Nakano countered with four consecutive German suplexes. Nakano managed to escape and assumed the Dragon stance again. Iwatani countered with a Tombstone Piledriver. Both wrestlers exchanged elbows while on their knees, and continued exchanging elbows even after standing up. Iwatani landed a back kick followed by a well-aimed thrust kick to Nakano's face. As Nakano stood up, Iwatani kicked him in the side of the head. Iwatani signaled for the finish and attempted a moonsault, but Nakano managed to clear it. Iwatani then applied a standing Dragon Sleeper. She transitioned from there into a Dragon Suplex, which Nakano couldn't escape, and Iwatani got the three count,10points, leaving the outcome of the next match to await.

"I don't like it when people call this a master-disciple showdown. I love Mayu-san, and she extended a helping hand to me, which is why I'm here today, but I don't want to be seen as Nakano Tam, who is subordinate to Iwatani Mayu anymore. I stepped into this ring today to go beyond that, but she's just so strong (tears welling up)...she's so strong. Himeka dodges Konami's charge and sends her flying with a shoulder tackle, then goes for a reverse figure-four leglock. Konami is lifted up and counters, going for an armbar. Just as Konami releases Himeka's hold, Himeka escapes. However, Konami countered with a sliding kick followed by an armlock. Konami tried to jump on Himeka but Himeka dodged and delivered a jumping knee attack followed by a lariat. Himeka lifted Konami up in an Argentine backbreaker and slammed her forward in a JP Coaster. However, Konami managed to kick out. She delivered a lariat from behind and a series of elbows from the front. She lifted Konami onto the corner and attempted a powerbomb. Konami countered with an armlock followed by an armbar. When Himeka escaped, Konami delivered a diving foot stomp to her right arm. She then followed up with a German suplex and a PK. When Maika countered, AZM applied a Mystica-style armlock. When Maika escaped, AZM charged again. Maika caught her and delivered a spinebuster before lifting her up. This was originally supposed to be a match between NatsukoandKashima, both from the same stable, but it will be interesting to see Iida show some determination as a substitute. There's a huge difference between ending with a clean sweep and getting a win in the end. She'll want to create a surprise for the sake of the future. Natsuko, who is lending her her strength, also has a winning record on the line. As the only entry from Oedo Tai, she can't afford to end with a losing record.

Natsuko dodged, and Kashima came to her aid. Bea Priestley then interfered. In the midst of the chaos, Natsuko was left hanging in mid-air by a chain. The referee called for the bell and Iida won by disqualification. Kashima and Bea interfered and attacked Iida. STARSg tried to intervene but Natsuko fought back. Kyoka entered the ring and rescued Iida. As the Oedo Tai left the ring, Kyoka picked Iida up. Kyoka demanded, "Let's start the match next." Momo's entrance was announced

Kyoka cornered Momo and stomped on her face. Momo was thrown into the corner, but she reversed and delivered a missile kick. Momo ran along the apron and attempted a kick, but Kyoka caught her from under the ring and attempted a piledriver on the apron. Momo countered and they exchanged elbows. Momo landed a high kick and a B-driver on the apron. Momo brought Kyoka into the ring and delivered a diving Soma-to followed by a chicken wing face lock. Momo ran, but Kyoka attempted a lariat. Momo retaliated with a dropkick. Kyoka delivered a series of lariats from close range. Momo countered, and Kyoka delivered a brainbuster. Kyoka attempted a diving body press, but Natsuko appeared and pulled the referee's leg. Oedo Tai interfered, and the ring became a brawl between TCS and Oedo Tai. The referee called for the bell and the match was declared a no-contest. Kyoka attacked Natsuko

But Utami's hands grabbed the ropes. Shuri took her to the center of the ring and went for an armbar and then an armlock. This time it was Utami's feet that reached the ropes. Shuri screamed "It's over!" and dashed off. Utami stopped her from behind and threw her with a German suplex. 3 minutes remaining. Utami lifted her up in an Argentine backbreaker and delivered a torture rack bomb, but it was only a two count. Both were down and on their knees, Shuri landed an elbow, and Utami retaliated. Shuri landed a buzzsaw kick, but Utami kicked out. 1 minute remaining. Shuri went for a German suplex, but Utami's shoulders rose.
Utami applied a sleeper hold to her opponent on the ground. With30seconds remaining, Utami stood up and delivered a Torture Rack Bomb from an Argentine backbreaker. However, the bell rang just then to end the match. Due to the point difference, Utami advanced to the final.

--The match ended in a draw due to time running out, preventing them from advancing to the final
"Ah, I'm incredibly frustrated. I was absolutely determined to win both of my final two official matches, advance to the finals, and win the 5☆STAR GP. So I'm really disappointed. I really wanted to show my mother that I had won. But I had a great time as Hayashishita Utami. I have a match for the red belt next, so I want to switch my focus and concentrate on that."
—You had your match against Maika first, so do you think you had a handicap going into your second match?
"That would be an excuse, so I can't say that, no."
--How was the league season as a whole?
"There was one match, against Momo Watanabe, which I was really looking forward to, but I had to withdraw because my mother passed away. I really wanted to have the match. Even if I had, I would have been able to be by my mother's side, so I am very grateful for that."
—It wouldn't have been surprising if you had dropped out of the league matches midway through, but what motivated you to keep going?
"To be honest, I really didn't want to do anything, and I have a lot of sadness about my mother. It would be a lie to say I don't have any sadness, I loved her very much, but I still have to move forward. I think my mother would say the same thing, and I want to be a strong person. So I will pull myself together and do what I need to do, which is professional wrestling."
--The loss against AZM ultimately had a significant impact. Do you regret losing to AZM?
"Wow, I was really surprised."
—If we had won, we might have made it to the finals
"Yes. It's frustrating. It's frustrating, but I also thought AZM was an interesting player."

Himeka resists and they exchange elbows. This time Himeka comes forward, but sends Utami flying with a shoulder tackle. Himeka throws Utami into the corner and delivers a running lariat followed by a reverse Boston crab. Utami manages to escape. Himeka puts Utami on the ropes and delivers a knee attack from behind. Himeka declares, "I'm going to lift you up," and prepares for an Argentine backbreaker. Utami counters and applies a sleeper hold from behind. Himeka escapes and charges forward, but is hit with a counter dropkick. Utami takes Himeka down with an outer leg sweep and goes for the cover, but only gets a two count. She also goes for a cover after a missile kick, but only gets a two count. Utami hangs Himeka in a bat hold and slams her onto the mat. Himeka attempts an Argentine backbreaker, but Utami resists and delivers a lariat. Himeka returns the favor with a lariat of her own. The lariats from both wrestlers collide, sending them both to the ground. Himeka delivers a flurry of elbows while on her knees. Utami gets up and delivers a slap followed by a sleeper hold. Himeka escapes to the ropes and delivers a lariat from close range. She runs in and delivers another one, but Utami kicks out. Himeka lifts Utami up for an Argentine backbreaker and slams her forward. However, Utami's shoulders rise. As Himeka goes for the cover, Utami rolls her up and applies a body scissors sleeper hold. Utami breaks free and delivers a series of German suplexes. Himeka kicks out, and Utami delivers an Argentine backbreaker followed by a torture rack bomb. The referee counts to three, and Utami wins her first 5☆STAR GP title. The winner, Utami, is presented with a winner's gown, crown, and trophy. Himeka is the runner-up. Konami receives the Outstanding Performance Award. AZM receives the Skill Award. The Fighting Spirit Award goes to Maika. The Red Stars Best Match is Giulia vs. Tam Nakano on September 13th at Nishitetsu Hall . The Blue Stars Best Match is Utami Hayashishita vs. Syuri on September 19th at Korakuen Hall .

It's been three years since my debut, and I've experienced so much disappointment, like not being able to win the 5★STAR GP or having to withdraw midway due to injury, but I was able to have the best summer of 2020. I got incredibly fired up during this 5★STAR GP summer. But there is someone I want to unleash this fire on. On October 3rd at the Yokohama Budokan, I will challenge the winner of the Red Belt match between Shuri and Mayu Iwatani, and the champion of the winner! Mayu Iwatani, Shuri, come on out !! "

"In 2020, Utami Hayashishita became the ultimate summer girl. My feelings about 5★STAR are different from anyone else's. Since my second match after my debut, Utami Hayashishita has grown through this grueling 5★STAR league. In my second year, I was unable to compete due to injury (voice trembling), which was really frustrating, so I decided that this year I would win 5★STAR and put a lot of effort into it. I defeated many of the strongest wrestlers in Stardom and was able to win 5★STAR. It was the best summer. With this heat and passion still burning,October3rd at Yokohama Budokan, I will face the winner of the match between Syuri and Mayu Iwatani for the belt. I will definitely take the red belt and rise to the top of Stardom." -- You were at a disadvantage in the final after a draw?
"My match against Shuri20-minute draw. Ideally, I should have won by pinning her, but she's a woman of a different caliber, and experiencing that firsthand in the ring made me realize just how impressive she is. This time it was a draw, but if Shuri can take the belt from Mayu Iwatani at Budokan, we can have a rematch of this match. I received the Best Match Award at the 5★STAR GP for the Blue Stars, so I want to have an even better match against Shuri in the future. With that in mind, in the final against Himeka, she was a really huge opponent. I always say that big means strong, big means... something, big means... something. But experiencing it firsthand, Himeka is huge and she was incredibly cool. However, I was even cooler and stronger today. That's probably why I was able to win."
