"I gave it my all and threw everything I had at Iida-san. But each of Iida-san's moves, his chops, had so much weight to them, and even though I went all out, I couldn't match him. But having a senior wrestler I could trust and throw everything at, and having fans who watched and cheered us on, made me feel incredibly fortunate. "I asked Mr. Ogawa to give me a ring name because I wanted a cool, professional-sounding name like Jungle Kyona's. When I consulted with Mr. Ogawa, he suggested the ring name Lady C. I didn't ask him what the C meant, but I thought that the origin of my own name and words starting with C are all positive words like champion, chance, and challenge, so I accepted this ring name with that in mind."

--You won the match against your fellow QQ member and successfully defended your belt

Utami: "Yes, our opponents were the team that won the tag league, so it wasn't easy, but in the end our tag team skills prevailed, and we successfully defended our title for the second time."

Kamiya: "I was able to successfully defend my title for the second time with Utami. Our opponent was MOMOAZ, and I think we had a really exciting match because we were both from the same gym. I was confident about defending my title, but I was also just as anxious, I was really anxious(tears), but I'm glad that I was able to finish the match safely and defend my title."

—You were able to defend your belts right after the tag league, but you didn't win the championship. What do you think about that? On top of that, you suffered a losing streak

Utami: "The tag league didn't go as planned at first, and we kept losing. I felt really inadequate as a champion, but I'm relieved now that I've achieved results befitting a champion."

Kamiya: "As I just said, the tag league didn't go the way we wanted, and there was a lot of anxiety and worry, but our teamwork was better than ever, and I think it was a match where we were able to show our tag team strength. So we won't be satisfied with this, and we'll keep defending our titles and aim for even greater heights."

—What aspects of your tag team skills have improved?

Utami: "I think our number of coordinated moves and our technique have clearly improved since we first started working together. At first, we had a lot of matches cancelled because we had just started working together, so we were just a tag team in name only, but recently we've been working together all the time, so our bond has grown stronger, we've gotten to know each other's timing better, and I think we've gained a lot of experience."

Kamiya: "When we first won the belts, we had only teamed up a few times, so we didn't team up that much during the tag league either. Throughout the tag league, we reflected on our performance, identified our weaknesses, and discussed what we did well and how we could improve our teamwork. We spent time together outside of work, and we did everything we thought was necessary as a tag team."

--You'll be challenging for the red belt tomorrow, but who will be next for the Goddesses of Stardom Championship?

Utami: "That's right. After today's match, no one came forward asking to be challenged next, so I've always wanted to defend my title against the two members of MOMOAZ, and I was able to do that this time. Next time, we could nominate someone, but I'd like someone to come forward and say they're up to the challenge as a tag team."

Kamiya: "I don't really like those new, overly cutesy people who joined recently (laughs). I want to take them down ( laughs ) . I don't quite remember their names though ( laughs ) . "

Shimi: "They didn't say hello. Even though they arrived later. I don't know why."

Kamiya: "I can't stand how arrogant I am(laughs)."

-- Utami is one win away from becoming a double champion. She will challenge for the red belt tomorrow in Sendai

Utami: "Tomorrow I'll be fighting Mayu Iwatani for the red belt, and having watched Mayu Iwatani's matches and title defenses, I know she's not an opponent I can easily beat. I've thought about a lot of strategies and secret tactics to win, and I've successfully defended this (Goddess) belt, which will give me good momentum for tomorrow. Tomorrow I want to take the red belt, become a double champion, and create a new era for Stardom."
