—What was the biggest deciding factor in joining the team?
Unagi: "Well, it was during the time of COVID-19, when matches couldn't be held, but seeing how they were still holding matches in so many different places, I thought that I wanted to do more pro wrestling, so even though I was injured and had to take a break, and10kilograms, it was still difficult to get matches, so I thought I wanted to join the organization that was the most active. That's how it started."
—What are your expectations for eels?
Ogawa: "That's right. In the sense that age and career are inversely proportional, Stardom has been an organization that has pursued youth until now, but when someone like Unagi comes along, it makes you realize that it's not just about that, and in a way, it would be good if the age range of our wrestlers broadened. So, conversely, if she works hard and succeeds here, I think a new form of star will emerge."
—How do you feel about being called "a group that chased youth"?
Unagi: "Well, I don't know? But I'm really grateful that I'm allowed to do what I want to do, and I don't really think about my age, so I still have room to grow and I want to keep going."

Unagi: "I honestly get incredibly nervous every time, no matter where I am or what match it is, so what is it in particular? What is it? It's not like there's a belt on the line or anything like that, I just always give it my all, so my determination is the same as always, yes."

Therefore, a tournament to determine the new champion will be held starting at this event, with seven wrestlers entered. The first round begins with Mina Shirakawavs.Ryuka. Shirakawa, who is aiming for her first singles title in Stardom, will face Ryuka, who has challenged for the same title twice before. Moreover, Ryuka challenged Iida at Korakuen Hall on March 26th and lost. She must be burning with desire to win the belt for the first time, especially as she is succeeding the former champion. Shirakawa escapes, but Ryuka hits a big boot followed by a superplex fisherman suplex, and declares he's going for the finish with a freezer bomb. However, Shirakawa easily dodged it. Shirakawa also attempted an aerial body slam, but only got a two-count. Shirakawa followed up with a back blow and a diving elbow attack. The three-count was called, and Shirakawa claimed the victory

After a tense exchange of hands, Hanan and Lady attacked Natsupoi and Nakano. Natsupoi and Nakano dodged, separating them and leaving them to fight one-on-one in the ring. In fact, during the match, we could see her fighting with devotion to Oedo Tai. The longer this goes on, the more likely Fukigen is to forget about STARS' Gokigen desu☆, isn't there? The match began when Momo was called last, and the Oedo Tai attacked. However, AZM retaliated with a dropkick to Fukigen. Natsuko breaks it up, saving Fukigen's life. Momo and AZM team up, but Konami dodges. Hinami tries to lift Fukigen up, but Fukigen deliberately tackles the referee before rolling her up. The referee counts to three, and Fukigen pins Hinami.

Kamiya lands an elbow, and Kid retaliates with "Don't mess with me!". After an exchange of elbows, Kid lands a powerful blow. Kamiya stops Kid's charge and delivers a dropkick to the knee, followed by a sickle hold. When this is released, it transitions into a reverse Boston crab. When Kid tries to escape, Kamiya grabs his neck. Kid manages to escape, and Kamiya delivers a dropkick. Kid dodges and delivers a dropkick. Kamiya anticipates and charges. Utami tries to grab her but Shuri resists and grabs her arm. Utami tries to lift her up but Shuri escapes and delivers a high kick. Utami takes her back and delivers a German suplex to the apron. Both are still on the apron and Shuri delivers a knee attack. Utami falls and Shuri is declared the winner by OTR
Shuri: "My victory in this match means I've taken the first step towards winning the Cinderella Tournament. And I think I might be qualified to challenge for that red belt that Utami Hayashishita holds, but what do you think, Utami?"
Utami: "Even though it was an over-the-top-rope loss today, as champion, I've lost, and I'd really like to have a title defense match against you, Shuri. But please let me think about it after seeing how this Cinderella Tournament goes."

Himeka charges in and Iwatani falls, resulting in an OTR (Over the Top Rope) finish. After the match, Oedo Tai attacks Himeka as well. Natsupoi is also eliminated. STARS and Oedo Tai brawl. Natsuko takes the microphone.
Natsuko: "Mayu Iwatani! The all-out war between Oedo Tai and STARS isn't over yet! I warned myself that. Next up is Starlight Kid, and then Mayu Iwatani! I'm going to take your heads!"

A press conference was held before the tournament where it was announced that she would be joining Stardom on April 1st. And now, Unagi will be headlining the quarterfinals of the tournament. Her opponent is Syuri, who defeated Utami Hayashishita
Shuri takes Unagi's elbow and stands up. Shuri corners Unagi and delivers a knee attack. When Unagi kicks her in the face, Shuri catches her and slams her onto the mat. Unagi hits a face crusher followed by a guillotine drop. Shuri survives and applies an armbar. When Unagi escapes, Shuri delivers a series of stomps and lifts her up. Unagi rolls her up but only gets a two count. Unagi goes for a big fuhen hold. Unagi slams Shuri forward but only gets a two count. Unagi hits a heel drop and climbs to the corner for a mad splash. But Shuri kicks out. Shuri slams Unagi forward but only gets a two count. Shuri climbs to the corner but Unagi catches up and tries to kick her down. Shuri applies a head scissors over the apron, and Unagi also goes to the apron. Unagi attempts a heel drop followed by a throw. Shuri dodges the guillotine and takes Unagi's back. She tries to throw Shuri backward, but Unagi resists. Shuri lands a series of knee strikes followed by a DDT. Shuri attempts another knee attack, but Unagi dodges it and lands a series of kicks. Shuri falls, giving Unagi the victory
Unagi: "Ah, I won! Even though it was over the top rope, I beat Shuri! People are saying things like why Unagi came to Stardom, that they don't need you, that you're a burden, but so what!? I'm going to win this Cinderella Tournament and climb to the top of Stardom, to the very top! To the very top of Stardom!"
Shirakawa: "No, no, no, Unagi-san! I won my first round of the Future tournament today! My dream right now is to have a singles match against Unagi in the finals of the Future tournament, and then I will win that final and become the double champion of Artist and Future, and shine at the top!"
