The Oedo Tai started the match by confronting each other before the gong, and they all delivered a face wash. Rinami held Hinami to the ropes and the Oedo Tai attacked all at once. Rinami pushed Hinami down and went for the cover. Hinami kicked out, but Rinami knocked her down with one elbow. However, Hinami threw a hip throw and passed the ball to Hanan. Shirakawa: "Yay! Three! I got it from Fukigen-san. It's the opening match, so I wanted to make some momentum here, and also, even if it's not Fukigen-san, I once lost to Kaori Yoneyama, who looks a little like her, by being rolled up in a singles match. It was in Best of Japan Pro Wrestling. However, Koguma dodges and drops back to the outside. Koguma attempts a plancha from the corner, but Natsupoi throws him from behind and then launches a plancha to the outside. Back in the ring, Natsupoi delivers a diving body attack. Koguma kicks out, and Natsupoi applies an Indian deathlock, then locks his legs and goes for a sickle hold. Kid lands an elbow before bringing Giulia back into the ring. She follows up with a series of leg breakers and an elbow drop to his right knee. She then hooks his knee over the ropes and delivers a dropkick. She hooks him over the second rope and delivers another leg breaker. Giulia kicks out at one, but Kid tries to force a submission with a ground dragon screw and an Achilles lock. Giulia replies, "That's not working!" As Giulia escapes, Kid charges at her. Giulia lands a series of big boots. Giulia counters Kid's roll-up attempt with a German suplex. Giulia climbs to the corner and sends Kid flying with a missile kick. Kid kicks out and Giulia goes for an STF, but Kid counters and locks in an STF of her own. Giulia counters and returns to an STF. Kid rolls up repeatedly and then performs a standing moonsault press. After an exchange of elbows, Kid collapses. Kid delivers chops followed by a flurry of left and right elbows. She kicks him in the face and stomps on his face with one foot. Giulia declares she's going for the finish with a back drop and heads to the corner. Kid leaps in and delivers a slap followed by a superplex casadora. Giulia counters with a dropkick. Kid delivers a double-arm DDT and a Texas Cloverleaf. Giulia escapes and Kid goes for a backbreaker and a moonsault press. However, Giulia applies a triangle choke. She transitions into a Stealth Viper and tightens the hold. Kid escapes and they exchange roll-up attempts. Giulia delivers a dropkick and slams him forward. However, Kid managed to clear the hold. Giulia then delivered another Northern Lights Bomb. The referee counted to three, giving Giulia the victory. After the match, Giulia patted Kid on the head and left the ring

"5★STAR's first match, Starlight Kid. What's this, you say you've been corrupted by evil, that you've fallen into darkness, so I was wondering what kind of bad things you'd do, but you said it before the match, didn't you? To do it fair and square. You're too serious. Do you really think you can beat Giulia by doing it fair and square? If you've joined Oedo Tai, you can use weapons as long as it's within the five count, so try doing lots of dirty things to defeat Giulia. I won't get mad. Stop with the mask and the hair and stuff. Unagi has shown rapid growth as a singles player, reaching the semi-finals of the Cinderella Tournament and capturing the Future of Stardom Championship from her stablemate Mina Shirakawa, so this first league match will be one that Nakano needs to watch out for. Of course, if Unagi wins here, she could continue her impressive run like in the Cinderella Tournament. Meanwhile, Nakano, the champion of the white belt, is competing in her fifth 5★STAR GP, but has yet to be involved in the finals. This year, as the singles champion, she must show a completely different Nakano than before. Surviving the finals is an absolute requirement for the champion. What will emerge from this first singles match between the two?

As Unagi is knocked down and charges, Nakano puts him in a hanging dragon sleeper. Nakano throws a Destiny Hammer, but it's only a two count. Nakano goes for the Tiger Suplex. Unagi resists, dodges a spin kick, and rolls him up for the pin. Unagi attempted a heel drop followed by a big fuhen hold, but Nakano countered with a spin kick, a violet shooting, and then a Tiger. After dropping Nakano forward, Unagi got into the Tiger position again. Unagi reversed and it was a great move. Nakano couldn't escape, and Unagi got the three count.

Kamiya slipped out of the cover and delivered a dropkick. Shuri followed with a soccer ball kick and a sliding kick. Outside the ring, Shuri delivered a knee strike to Kamiya on the apron. Shuri slammed her into the corner and delivered a series of stomps, then stepped on her face. She followed with a series of corner knee attacks and then an armbar. Kamiya quickly escaped, and Shuri delivered a front neck chancery drop. Kamiya countered and charged in with an elbow, but Shuri kicked her in the face and stood firm. Every time Kamiya charged in, Shuri kicked her. Kamiya yelled "Don't mess with me!" and delivered a flurry of elbows. Shuri retaliated with a series of knees. When Shuri charged, Kamiya hit a Frankensteiner. She then delivered a spectacular swan dive plancha to Shuri, who had gone outside the ring. Kamiya brought Shuri back into the ring and hit a missile kick from the corner. When Shuri kicked out, Kamiya went for a Star Crusher. Shuri countered with a series of middle kicks. When Kamiya kicked out, Shuri applied a chicken wing armlock. Kamiya escaped, and Shuri charged, but was hit with a double kick. Kamiya delivered a series of elbows, blocking Shuri and hitting her with elbows of her own. Kamiya yelled and charged, but Shuri hit a mountain fold. When Kamiya kicked out, Shuri hit a buzzsaw kick. Kamiya stopped it and hit a Northern Lights. When Shuri kicked out, Kamiya declared she was going for the finish and slammed her down with a Star Crusher. However, Shuri managed to kick out. Kamitani lays Shuri down and goes for a Phoenix Splash. Shuri gets up and heads to the corner. Kamitani is dropped onto the apron but quickly makes a comeback and drops Shuri. After an exchange of elbows, Kamitani throws a flurry of punches, and Kamitani gets Shuri up but gets slapped. Kamitani collapses as10minutes have passed. Kamitani slaps back and Shuri slaps her again. Kamitani retaliates and they exchange slaps. Shuri throws a flurry of punches and Kamitani collapses. Shuri stomps on Kamitani. Kamitani is down. Kamitani throws a series of slaps from both sides. Shuri then collapses. She gets up with a headlock and works the ropes. Shuri quickly grabs Kamitani's arm and applies an armbar, then a German suplex. Kamitani counters with a knee kick. Kamitani charges, and Shuri hits a high kick, then Kamitani hits a Frankensteiner. Shuri attacks from behind with a knee attack. Kamitani counters, and Shuri applies an armbar, then an armlock. Although she had both arms locked in place, Kamiya's legs got caught on the ropes. The match began with a handshake between Iwatani and Momo. After some feeling each other out, they locked up and Momo got a hold of Iwatani's neck. Iwatani twisted Momo's arm, and Momo retaliated. Momo then locked Iwatani in a camel clutch and chased her into the corner, delivering a barrage of middle kicks. Iwatani countered and applied a camel clutch-style face lock. Iwatani dodged a charge and delivered a dropkick, a back kick, and an Achilles lock. Iwatani shouted, "I'll pay you back!" and delivered a soccer ball kick. Iwatani continued to taunt Momo, asking, "What's wrong, Momo?" as she kicked her. Momo countered and Iwatani delivered a series of body slams.
