STARS' Koguma & Hanan, Oedo Tai's Ryuka & Rina, and COSMIC ANGELS' Shirakawa Mina will appear as a combined force accompanied by Lady C, competing in a 3-WAY tag team match. Koguma and Shirakawa, both entered in the 5★STAR GP, won their first matches the previous day, so they are likely to be in good form for the opening match. Ryuka will also be starting her official season with two matches in Osaka on August 7th and 8th. She will want to be in top form (including her illegal attacks?) for her first appearance in the single league tournament
It seemed that Shirakawa, Koguma, and Ryuka would be the starters, but Ryuka left the ring, leaving Shirakawavs.Koguma. Koguma put both hands to his ears and made a pose, inviting Shirakawa. The match became a rope battle, and Shirakawa delivered a flying cross chop. Hanan teamed up with Koguma, but Lady C and Shirakawa exchanged kicks. Oedo Tai then intervened, aiming for a double face wash. However, STARS countered with a dropkick. Rinami put Hanan in a Manji Gatame (figure-four leglock). Rinami rolled him up, but Koguma kicked out. As Koguma ran, Ryuka pulled his leg to interfere. Oedo Tai attempted a double attack, but Koguma went down to the floor. Shirakawa and Lady C performed a Kawazu Otoshi (a type of throw) on Oedo Tai. Shirakawa drove them one after another into the corners and delivered a running attack and a neckbreaker drop. Shirakawa then hit Hanan in a hanging ceiling hold. Koguma tried to break it up, but Lady C stopped him. Lady also manages to block Rinami's cut. STARS corners Lady and Koguma delivers a missile kick. Ruanka delivers a crossbody to Lady and Hanan. Koguma hits Ruanka with a DDT. Shirakawa delivers an elbow. Rinami rolls up Hanan with a jackknife pin. Shirakawa's attempt to break it up is too late, and Rinami pins Hanan.

In the opening match the previous day, Unagi Sayaka defeated the white belt champion, Tam Nakano, in her second match against AZM. This will be AZM's first match against Unagi. The two11thin Kyoto, the second match of Unagi's seven-match series, in which Unagi suffered a crushing defeat. However, Unagi has since made rapid progress, reaching the semifinals of the Cinderella Tournament and becoming a double champion, holding both the Artist of Stardom and Future of Stardom titles. As such, she has become a formidable opponent for AZM. Moreover, having defeated a singles champion the previous day, AZM will need to be especially cautious. If Unagi wins, she will undoubtedly gain momentum with a winning streak. AZM, a regular winner of the Skill Award, is also aiming for her first championship this year. This promises to be a very important match for both of them.
Slowly stepping forward, Unagi extends his hand. AZM responds, and Unagi tries to attack, but AZM delivers a series of open-hand slaps. He also lands a series of soccer ball kicks, throws Unagi into the corner, and delivers a dropkick. Unagi retaliates, and AZM taunts him. After an exchange of elbows, AZM charges, but Unagi catches him and slams him down. Unagi lands a running elbow attack and a face crusher. AZM retaliates, and they exchange elbows. AZM taunts him again, and they continue their elbow battle. Unagi slips past AZM and lands a big boot and a guillotine drop. Unagi climbs to the corner, but AZM delivers a high kick and a superplex armbar. He transitions into an armlock and then attempts a diving foot stomp. However, Unagi lifts his shoulder. Still, AZM quickly goes into an armlock. AZM reverses and applies another armlock. Unagi manages to escape to the ropes. AZM declared he was going for the finish and applied a Mystica-style armlock. He kicked AZM to the back of the head and then went for a superplex, grabbing his arm. Unagi escaped but was hit with a missile kick to the back. AZM charged forward, but Unagi slammed him into the top rope. Unagi put AZM on the corner and delivered a modified DDT. He climbed onto the corner and delivered a Mad Splash. AZM kicked out, and Unagi went for a Daigi Itta. AZM countered and rolled him up, but it was onlya twocount. AZM delivered a high kick and dashed forward. Unagi stopped him and applied a Daifuhen Gatame. From there, he hoisted AZM up in a Canadian cantilever and dropped him forward. He then delivered a Daigi Itta for the three count. Unagi secured his second consecutive victory of the season.

He then stomps on his face and twists his left arm. Kashima locks in an armbar, and Kid escapes screaming. Kashima doesn't let go of his arm and chokes him in the center of the ring. Kid gets up and delivers an elbow, and Kashima kicks him in the face. Kashima stomps on his stomach and goes for the cover. Kid kicks out and they grapple for each other's hair. Kid uses the ropes to deliver a body attack. He delivers a low dropkick, but Kashima kicks out. Kashima scratches at his face and charges. Kid dodges and avoids a 619. Kashima slips past Kid and kicks him in the face before hitting a double arm suplex hold. Kashima goes for a double arm suplex again, but Kid counters and charges in with a spear. Kid dodges and catches Kashima's big boot, then executes a standing moonsault press, the same move that Kashima had just dodged. Kashima heads to the corner, aiming for a face crusher, double arm suplex, and diving foot stomp. Kid notices and delivers an arm whip. Kashima hits a big boot followed by a double arm facebuster. Kid kicks out and Kashima goes for the My Emblem. Kid counters with a swing neckbreaker and a spinning diving body press. Kashima dodges and rolls him up, Kashima hits a big boot but Kid hits a dropkick, a fisherman suplex, a DDT, and a modified piledriver called the Black Tiger Divine Punishment. Kashima can't kick out and Kid gets the three count

Natsupoi goes for the defiant Momo, but is sent flying by an elbow. Momo delivers a series of stomps, but Natsupoi dodges them and hits a neckbreaker. Momo dodges a dropkick, but Natsupoi lands a series of corner dropkicks. Natsupoi attempts a swing neckbreaker, but Momo counters and they engage in an elbow exchange. Momo counters with a middle kick, a series of corner dropkicks, a brainbuster, and a PK. When Natsupoi countered, Momo responded with a chicken wing face lock, a back suplex, and a Soumatou. When Natsupoi countered again, she intercepted a missile kick. Natsupoi stopped Momo's charge and applied a reverse Boston crab. When Momo escaped, Natsupoi delivered a dropkick and a swing neckbreaker. She then hit a Fairial Gift and applied a modified camel clutch by grabbing Momo's arm. Momo successfully escaped. Natsupoi crossed her arms in an attempt at a suplex, but Momo escaped and delivered a series of high kicks. When Natsupoi countered again, Momo delivered a B-driver and a chicken wing face lock. Natsupoi attempted a series of Magistral roll-ups. Natsupoi dodged a high kick and jumped on Momo to roll her up for the three count

Nakano brings Konami back and takes her back. Konami counters and applies an armbar. Konami lands a sliding kick, a big boot to the right arm, a punch to the stomach, and a stomp to the right arm. Nakano lands a series of thrust kicks, but Konami pulls her hair and takes her down. Nakano attempts a German suplex, but Konami retaliates. Both are down, but Nakano gets back up and lands another German suplex. Konami kicks out, and Nakano heads to the corner. Konami lands a high kick, then a figure-four leglock on the corner, followed by a deadly drive. From the corner, she delivers a triangle kick and a triangle lancer. Nakano counters with a knee attack. After a struggle for the back, Konami applies a sleeper hold. Nakano manages to escape. Konami catches Nakano's Violet Shooting, but Nakano lands a spin kick, then assumes a tiger stance and slams Konami forward before hitting a Twilight Dream. Konami is unable to kick out, and Nakano wins.

"My right arm was destroyed. The Oedo Tai always manage to destroy a lot of things about me. I lost consciousness midway through the match, and they put me in a sleeper hold. I don't even know what happened... Am I cute? Thank you. I, Nakano Tam, lost my first match because I was caught off guard for a moment, but I will absolutely not lose from here on out. I will win every match and definitely become the champion. That's all I feel. Back then, Utami was the reigning champion with the red belt and Kamitani was the challenger. Utami still holds the World of Stardom Championship, but suffered a surprising defeat to Maika in the opening match the day before. She'll be hoping to turn things around in this match against Kamitani, her tag team partner, but Kamitani also started with a loss, making this a must-win situation for both of them. Kamitani will face three of the "Four Greats" right from the start: Shuri, Utami, and Tam Nakano on August 8th in Osaka. Will this be a fresh start, or will she be on the brink of defeat? Of course, Utami, who is aiming to become the first ever to win two consecutive titles, cannot afford another loss..
The match began with a clean handshake. After some feeling each other out, they locked up in a quarter-body lock, with Utani grabbing Utani's arm. After a struggle for the arms, Utami applied a headlock. Utani took the match to the ground, but Utami broke free and they exchanged dropkicks. Utani went for a rope work from a lock-up, but Utami countered with a shoulder tackle. Utami delivered a body slam with a long hang time followed by a camel clutch. Utani escaped, and Utami stomped on her back. Utani countered, and Utami delivered a dropkick from behind. Utani countered again, and Utami followed up with a series of body slams. Utani quickly countered and went on the offensive, but Utami stood firm. Utani unleashed a flurry of elbows, and Utami kicked her in the face. Utami charged, and Utani tried to confuse her with a cartwheel, but Utami delivered another buster. Utani sent Utami out of the ring with a dropkick and performed a swan dive plancha. She returned to the ring and delivered a missile kick from the corner. When Utami retaliates, she delivers a standing moonsault double knee drop. When Utami throws an elbow, Kamiya throws one back. Kamiya goes down in an exchange of elbows. Kamiya throws a flurry of punches and a slap. Utami throws an elbow to the back, Kamiya retaliates with a knee attack, and Utami retaliates with a series of lariats. When Kamiya retaliates, Utami delivers a bat hanging drop. She tries for another one, but Shuri rolls her up and hits a knee attack. Maika hits a lariat, but Shuri kicks out. As Maika charges, Shuri hits a high kick. Maika kicks out, and Shuri kicks her in the face. She slams her down with a Flame Drop for the three count. Shuri has won two straight matches to start the tournament.
