This is an official tag team league match between the team of Momo Watanabe & AZM and the team of Lady C & Waka Tsukiyama. In the opening match on October 17th at Korakuen Hall , last year's champions, Watanabe's team, drew against Starlight Kid & Ruanka, and they are aiming for their first victory in this match. Lady C & Tsukiyama, on the other hand, formed a tag team on October 9th at Osaka-jo Hall and appeared in the pre-show match. The two have fought each other in singles matches, with Lady C securing her first victory, while Tsukiyama, who gave up that win, remains winless in Stardom. However, having hit it off, they want to work together in this league match to make their mark. Facing the defending champions right from the start will undoubtedly be a test, but depending on the result, they could become the dark horse of the tournament. Lady C is also scheduled to challenge for the Future of Stardom Championship on November 3rd in Kawasaki, so she will be looking to build momentum .

Former Goddesses of Stardom champions Utami Hayashishita and Saya Kamitani suffered a surprising defeat in their opening match, being pinned by Saki Kashima and Fukigen Desu★. Kamitani, in particular, was heartbroken to be pinned for the three count, having come so close to finishing the match. In their second match, they will face the sister tag team of Hanan and Rina. Hanan and Rina, who have teamed up beyond their unit boundaries due to their sisterly bond, have diametrically opposed styles, as their team name "Water and Oil" suggests: Hanan fights in the orthodox style of STARS, while Rina fights in the heel style of Oedo Tai. It will be interesting to see how this difference affects their league matches. Having only played one match so far, Utami and Kamitani will likely be feeling their way through the tournament. This means the sisters' combination should also have a chance. In their opening match, a slight lapse in concentration proved fatal for Utami and Kamitani. It seems unlikely they'll be caught off guard here, but Hanan & Rinami will use their youth to try and pull off a major upset. Will Utami & Kamitani secure their first league win in the second match, or will Hanan & Rinami pull off an upset and score two points?
Utami and Hanan volunteer to start the match as the bell rings. Hanan goes for a takedown and takes the match to the ground. Utami gets a headlock, but Hanan escapes and they grapple for a neck hold. Utami gets behind Hanan and grabs her arm, but Hanan counters and gets a headlock of her own. Utami sends Hanan flying with a shoulder tackle, and Kamitani joins in to attack in a coordinated effort, delivering a double dropkick to her back. Outside the ring, Rinami shouts at her sister, "Is that all you've got!?" Utami and Kamitani attack Hanan in their corner. Kamitani delivers a body slam, but Hanan kicks out at one count. Utami delivers a series of body slams to Hanan. Hanan tries a hip throw, but Utami resists. However, Hanan catches Utami's charge and slams her down. Rinami attacks her teammate Hanan with a body slam and a foot stomp before hitting Utami with a running elbow and a dropkick. Rinami counters Utami's attempt at an Argentine backbreaker. However, Utami stops her charge and delivers a backflip and a missile kick. Kamitani delivers a dropkick, and Hanan attempts a headlock, but Kamitani dodges, causing Rinami's dropkick to hit its prey. Kamitani, with Utami's assistance, delivers a double knee. Rinami resists Utami's attempt at a Star Crusher, and Hanan comes to the rescue. Rinami hits Kamitani with a Northern Lights suplex. Kamitani counters, and Rinami attempts a Gory Bomb. Kamitani counters with a knee attack. Rinami counters again, and Hanan delivers a diving body attack, followed by a Gory Bomb. However, Utami successfully breaks it up. Rinami puts Kamitani in a Manji Gatame (figure-four leglock). She moves to the ground and tightens the hold. However, Kamitani's foot reaches the ropes. Kamitani delivers a knee kick, and Rinami attempts a reverse pin. Hanan comes to help, but Utami and Kamitani deliver dropkicks. Shimi grabbed Rinami and set up Kamiya for a swan dive body attack. Shimi and Kamiya performed a Magic Killer, and Kamiya followed with a Star Crusher. Rinami couldn't kick out, and Kamiya got the three count

Kid's team drew with last year's champions, Momo Watanabe and AZM, achieving a near-victory in a sense. It's fair to say that Ryukana's confidence as the Future of Stardom Champion is reflected in this result. Kid and Ryukana are also a team of single champions, as Kid is the High Speed Champion. However, this time she aims to win the championship in a tag team with a STARDOM icon. How many wins will she be able to rack up with her idol, Iwatani? Kadokura: "Hello everyone in Hamamatsu, this is Kadokura Rin. The tag league just started today, but I think we're doing pretty well! However, it's only the first match, so I think there's still more to come, and we'll keep this momentum going!"
Iwatani: "I definitely want to win the Blue Marine tournament and return to the ring with the belt, so please continue to support us. STARS won today, so let's wrap things up together as a group for the first time in a while. ...I'm a little... I'm really hurting. Hanan, Hanan, I'm leaving the closing remarks to you. Please."
Hanan: "Okay, then I'd like to wrap things up. Believe in the present and shine tomorrow, We are Stardom!"

Kadokura: "I've always decided that I'll definitely step in to help Mayu whenever she's in trouble, so I think you can rest assured about that."
Iwatani: "Who's the senior here?"
Kadokura: "Hahaha. Mayu-san is my senior."
Iwatani: "Hahaha"
Kadokura: "We managed to get one win in the first match, so we'll do our best in the remaining matches. But with this momentum, I think we can do it."
Iwatani: "From the very first match, our tag team moves were landing perfectly, and I think we'll grow with each match, so I want to win the championship like this. I'll do my best."
Kadokura: "Let's do our best."
