A draw was held to determine the Japanese participants in the IWGP Women's Championship Tournament, and four units—STARS, Queen's Quest, Donna del Mondo, and Oedo Tai—drew winning tickets (God's Eye and Cosmic Angels did not). The representatives from each unit will be decided at a later date
Julia: "Shuri, who drew the short straw first, is as stupid as ever. With these four units, depending on the results of 5★STAR, everyone can look forward to seeing who the selected members of these four units will be!" Afterwards, Julia taunted Kid, who she would face in the main event that day, saying, "Do you want your mask ripped off again?" When Julia was surrounded and beaten up by the Oedo Tai, Rina Yamashita came to her rescue.
Kid: "Hey! Why are you in the Stardom ring?!"
Yamashita: "I came to see Stardom because it looked interesting. They're doing boring things, so I came out."
Kid: "Isn't that Yamashita Rina? Of course I know who you are, but you're not the kind of person who belongs in this ring. You're not needed here. Go home!"
Julia: "As always, homegrown guys are stubborn. I thought Kid wasn't like that, but in the end, your head's as rigid as mine. By the way... (turning to Yamashita) Why are you here? You came out? Just wait asecond. It's Yamashita Rina! I don't know how many people know her, but Yamashita Rina is my...I'll tell you later. So, I want to take these guys down, but these thugs can't act tough unless they're with a lot of people, so you're saying you'll join us in crushing the Oedo Tai?"
Yamashita: "Of course. However! Now that I'm here, we're going to have a hardcore competition."

Unagi landed a series of mounted punches, and Sakurai reversed and fought back. Sakurai stomped on Unagi's face and threw him into the corner, but Unagi anticipated it and delivered a Codebreaker. Sakurai dodged Unagi's Face Crusher, leaving it incomplete. Unagi charged forward again and delivered another Face Crusher, then dropped a guillotine. Sakurai countered and went for an elbow, but Unagi stood firm and took it. After an exchange of elbows, Unagi knocked Sakurai down and charged forward. Sakurai dodged and went for an STF. Unagi escaped, and Sakurai landed a big boot followed by a missile kick. Unagi landed a big boot followed by three heel drops. Sakurai countered, and Unagi delivered a modified DDT. Koguma continued to apply the hold, but Nakano escaped. Koguma continued to stomp on Nakano's back and delivered a foot stomp. When Nakano countered, Koguma delivered a DDT, climbed to the corner, and delivered a missile kick. Nakano countered, and Koguma got behind him. Nakano escaped to the ropes, but Koguma charged forward. Nakano dodged and sent him to the outside with a dropkick. Nakano climbed to the corner, and Koguma caught up to him, but was caught in a hanging dragon sleeper. The two fell, and Nakano dove from the corner. Koguma dodged, but Nakano delivered a back drop and a knee attack. Koguma countered, rolling up Nakano's charge. Nakano countered with a spin kick followed by a Violet Shooting. When Iwatani kicked out, Shirakawa went down to the apron and delivered a DDT. Shirakawa returned to the ring and waited for Iwatani, but she brought Iwatani back herself and delivered a series of elbows, then a knee to the back of her head. She applied a figure-four neck lock, but Iwatani managed to escape. Shirakawa then hit a reverse DDT for a two count. She attempted an implant DDT, but Iwatani evaded it with a dragon throw. Shirakawa got up first and delivered a rolling elbow. Iwatani dodged it and delivered an elbow, then a thrust kick and a dropkick. She climbed onto the corner and set up a standing dragon sleeper. As someone who entered the tournament with a lot of fanfare, she'll be desperate to avoid a third consecutive loss..

Natsupoi dodges Suzuki's lariat and delivers a dropkick. Natsupoi throws Suzuki into the corner and charges. Suzuki dodges and punches her in the back, then slides in from behind and delivers a German suplex. Taking the fight outside the ring, Suzuki slams Natsupoi's back into the ring post and delivers a body slam. Suzuki waits in the center of the ring for Natsupoi to return. As Natsupoi tries to come back, Suzuki delivers a low dropkick, and the fight takes the ring outside again. When the referee tries to intervene, Suzuki says, "Watch this, old geezer," and applies a reverse Boston crab. When it looks like Suzuki will be disqualified, she refuses and returns to the ring. As Natsupoi returns, Suzuki attacks her with a knee from behind. Natsupoi retaliates, counters Suzuki's body slam, and sends her out of the ring with an arm whip. She climbs to the corner, but Suzuki says "Not a chance" and delivers a deadly drive. She sets up for a German suplex on the apron. Natsupoi dodges and delivers a dropkick on the apron. As Suzuki falls, Natsupoi hits her with a plancha to the outside. Suzuki returns and Natsupoi delivers a series of stomps and a low dropkick. She climbs to the corner and attempts a diving body attack. However, Suzuki dodges with a bridge and throws her with something resembling a German suplex. Natsupoi retaliates, and Suzuki takes her back. Natsupoi counters and they exchange elbows. They grab each other's hands and continue exchanging elbows. Both collapse, and Suzuki gets up and charges, but Natsupoi hits her with a thrust kick. Suzuki endures and delivers a German suplex, and Natsupoi also delivers a German suplex. Suzuki slaps Natsupoi down. Suzuki tries to pull up but Natsupoi rolls her up. Suzuki tries to roll her up but Natsupoi kicks out at the last moment. Sorei lands a running body attack followed by a reverse Boston crab. MIRAI escapes, and they grapple for control of each other's backs. MIRAI rolls him up for a pin, but it's only a two count. MIRAI jumps in and lands a face crusher. MIRAI shouts, "This time I'm putting my heart and soul into it!" and heads to the corner. As Sorei tries to get up, MIRAI rolls him up and goes for a submission. When Sorei escapes, MIRAI lands a series of elbows, and Sorei dodges a lariat and lands one of his own. He throws another, but only gets a two count. Sorei declares he's going for the finish, but MIRAI counters with a series of roll-ups and gets a neck hold. When Sorei escapes, MIRAI lands a lariat. Sorei dodges it, but MIRAI blocks the lariat and goes for the Miramare. Sorei counters and knocks him down, then slams him to the side. However, MIRAI gets up first and lands a lariat. She relentlessly attacked my neck, but in the end I fought back with my own neck. Sera said, "This is payback," and applied a reverse Boston crab. She slammed Himeka into the corner and delivered a corner knee attack and a double knee. After an exchange of elbows, Sera stomped on Himeka's head. Himeka countered with a lariat. She landed another one, but it was only a two count. Sera also kicked out of the JP Coaster. Himeka went for a powerbomb. Sera slammed her forward, but Himeka reversed and went for the cover. Himeka delivered a series of elbows to Sera, who had just returned the hold. Maika applies a headlock, but Utami throws her into the ropes and delivers a dropkick. Utami chases her to the outside and attempts a body slam on Maika.
