A rookie is one of those opponents, and Sakura is likely one of them. Kashima will have her first title defense against her Oedo Tai stablemate Fukigen Desu★ on July 2nd in Yokohama. If she wins that match, she might nominate Sakura, but if Sakura puts Kashima under pressure in that match, the champion might avoid her. What will happen...?
Kashima extends her hand for a handshake, saying, "Since I'm facing a rookie today, I want to have a fair fight. Please be kind to me!" As Sakura shakes her hand, Kashima attacks from behind, saying, "The world isn't that easy," and delivers a body slam and a ground cobra twist. Kashima grabs Sakura's hair and says, "You're so innocent and cute." When the referee stops the match, Kashima says to Sakura, "Have you been giving her some kind of bribe?" Sakura is caught in the crossfire. Sakura charges at Kashima, but Kashima says, "That won't work," and stomps on her back, saying, "It's stiff," "Does that feel good?", "Does it hurt anywhere?" Sakura unleashes a series of dropkicks, but Kashima dodges them and charges forward. Sakura lands a counter middle kick. Kashima escapes to the ropes before she can be covered. Sakura returns to the center and applies a body scissors sleeper hold to force a submission. Sakura rolls Kashima up in a series of pins, followed by left and right middle kicks and a high kick. Kashima counters with a Shoryuken. Sakura held on and charged forward, but Kashima delivered a thrust kick. Sakura retaliated, and Kashima hit a double-arm facebuster. Even after the gong sounded, Ryuka didn't move. When HANAKO raised both hands to invite her in, the two attacked, with Gina dropping a dropkick on HANAKO, Ryuka hitting Gina with a senton, and then repeatedly hitting HANAKO with hair whips. They cornered each other and stomped on the face. Ryuka taunted HANAKO, saying, "Is that all you've got, big or nothing?", and stood up after taking a series of elbows from her opponents. Ryuka stomped on HANAKO's face and charged. HANAKO hit a series of big boots. When Ryuka went for an elbow, HANAKO retaliated. Gina came in and hit them both with a face crusher. Gina picked up Ryuka and did a backflip. HANAKO broke it up, and Gina went for a rolling prawn hold. Ryuka broke it up and hit Gina with a complete shot. Gina countered with a thrust kick, and HANAKO hit them both with a cross body. HANAKO attempts a brainbuster on Gina, but Gina counters. The brainbuster exchange ends with HANAKO winning, but Ryuka delivers a senton to both of them. HANAKO lands a big boot on Ryuka as she charges, and Gina prepares for a double arm suplex on HANAKO. It will be interesting to see how this powerful tag team performs against the former Goddesses of Stardom champions. Utami has recently been embroiled in a feud with Saya Kamitani, but in this match she will need to put that aside and demonstrate her authority as the QQ leader
The match begins when Lady calls out to Koguma, "Let's play bear!" Just as Koguma and Lady are about to strike a bear pose, Lady attacks, saying, "No way!" Koguma goes down to the floor and invites Lady to play tag. Lady chases after him, but Koguma runs away. Lady locks him in a room, but Koguma comes out through another door. Utami puts Koguma in a headlock, and Lady takes him back into the ring and pins him. Koguma tries to escape, but Lady uses rope work to outmaneuver him and delivers a dropkick. Hazuki teams up with Koguma and attacks in combination. Hazuki does a hair whip and then washes Lady's face. Koguma puts Lady in a camel clutch and forces her into a bear pose. Lady delivers a series of big boots as Koguma charges. Utami enters and delivers a shoulder tackle to Koguma. Koguma dodges the second one and teams up with Hazuki, but Utami delivers a dropkick to both of them. As Koguma charges, Utami stops her, corners her, and charges in with a spear. Koguma dodges, and Utami dodges too. However, Koguma hits a Gun Stun. Hazuki hits Utami with a missile kick. Hazuki doesn't let Lady tag in and hits Utami with a Codebreaker and a face lock. When Utami escapes, Hazuki puts her in a full nelson. Utami breaks free and hits a side buster. Lady hits Hazuki with a big boot, throws Koguma down, and hits Hazuki with a spear knee attack and a brainbuster from the corner. Hazuki kicks out and dodges Lady's attempt at a cobra twist. Lady throws a chop, and Hazuki retaliates with an elbow. After an exchange of strikes, Utami interferes and they attack together. Hazuki kicks out, and Lady prepares for a chokeslam. Hazuki counters and she and Koguma team up for an attack. Lady kicks out, and Hazuki attempts a diving senton. Utami cuts in Lady's Argentine backbreaker and combines it with Lady's neckbreaker. Lady delivers a high chokeslam to Hazuki, but Koguma makes the break. Hazuki rolls up Lady with a Hazukistral but Utami breaks it up. Lady delivers a big boot and a double kick. Hazuki delivers a brainbuster and puts Lady on the corner, then a Canadian backbreaker and combines it with Koguma's neckbreaker. Iida calls out, "Hey Natsuko, let's use that size of yours and do some sumo wrestling!" Natsuko comes out and joins Iida in stomping her feet. The match begins with an exchange of thrusts. They engage in rope work, and Iida throws an elbow, but Natsuko stops it and delivers a shoulder tackle. Iida dodges Natsuko's senton and lands a back elbow. STARS grab Natsuko and launch a coordinated attack. They land foot stomps one after another and dropkicks from three directions. Iida attempts an elbow drop, but Natsuko counters. As Iida runs, Momo pulls her leg from below the ring, leading to a brawl outside. Natsuko returns to the ring and stomps on Iida's face. Iida charges forward with a series of chops. Natsuko thrusts her chest out and charges forward. Iida throws a jumping chop and Iwatani delivers a dropkick. Iwatani dodges Natsuko's charge and lands a dropkick. Momo and Natsuko team up, but Iwatani arm whips them both at once. Iwatani and Iida deliver dropkicks. Natsuko retaliates, catching Iwatani and doing a backflip. Kogo and Momo grappled for a back hold. Kid's dropkick accidentally hit Momo, and Kogo went for a Magistral. Natsupoi used rope work to lure Sorei into the corner, where Kozuen delivered a series of spear attacks and dropkicks from three directions. Natsupoi dashed forward, but Sorei responded with a shoulder tackle and a series of reverse chops. After a struggle with the ropes, Sorei delivered a double chop. Shuri kicked Natsupoi with a soccer ball kick. Natsupoi dodged and made a safe gesture, but was hit again. Shuri delivered another soccer ball kick. Natsupoi countered, and Shuri applied a sleeper hold. Natsupoi escaped and delivered a back kick and a neckbreaker. Nakano delivered a diving body attack to Shuri. Sorei interfered, but Nakano hit both of them with a dropkick. MIRAI entered and threw Nakano, but Natsupoi delivered a dropkick, and Kozuen joined in with a sliding kick. Shuri hit Nakano with a back cracker and a soccer ball kick. MIRAI and Nakano locked in a stare-down, with MIRAI grabbing Nakano's hair. Nakano landed an elbow, and MIRAI retaliated. Nakano landed a series of blows, sending MIRAI collapsing. Nakano pulled MIRAI up, shouting, "Show me your soul!" MIRAI cornered him and delivered a lariat. He then lifted him up in a Canadian suplex and slammed him onto the mat. MIRAI mounted Nakano and delivered a series of elbows. He picked up the downed Nakano and lifted him up. Nakano countered with a back kick. As MIRAI charged, Nakano delivered a thrust kick and a back drop. MIRAI got behind Nakano and lifted him up. Nakano countered, but MIRAI countered again with a back flip, and Nakano countered with a spin kick. Mizumori offered to tag in and entered the ring. Mizumori delivered a diving shoulder tackle to MIRAI. MIRAI threw Mizumori into the corner, but Mizumori landed a dropkick and a sliding lariat. Sorei blocks Mizumori's lariat attempt and Shuri provides support. MIRAI goes for the cover but Mizumori kicks out. MIRAI tries for the Miramare Shock but Mizumori lands a series of lariats. MIRAI endures and lands a lariat. Mizumori lifts Mizumori up and Meltia delivers dropkicks from both the front and back. Mizumori delivers a diving body press to MIRAI. MIRAI dodges and teams up with Sorei, slamming Mizumori forward. MIRAI slams Mizumori onto the mat but Nakano breaks up the exchange of elbows. Nakano delivers a back drop to MIRAI. Natsupoi breaks up Shuri and Sorei's clothesline. Meltia joins forces with thrust kicks, Mizumori lands a lariat on Shuri and three lariats on MIRAI. Mizumori tries for one more but MIRAI counters with a lariat. She throws another one but Mizumori kicks out. MIRAI dodged Mizumori and delivered a lariat. Another one was a jumping lariat. The referee counted to three, and MIRAI won by pinfall over Mizumori. After the match, Nakano showed off her red and white belt, and MIRAI showed off her Goddess belt, and they engaged in a stare-down. The previous day in Tokushima, DDM and Club Venus faced off in an eight-woman tag team match, with DDM emerging victorious.againstVenus, or will Club Venus strike back? Although their opponents are different, these matches will be crucial for Giulia's team to boost their morale ahead of their Artist of Stardom Championship challenge, and for Shirakawa and Mariah to boost their morale ahead of their Goddesses of Stardom Championship challenge.
"I'll go," Sakurai volunteered to start. Tsukiyama came out from Club Venus. In a test of strength in a lock-up, Sakurai drove her to the ropes. Tsukiyama landed a series of elbows. After a struggle for the back, Sakurai delivered a dropkick to Tsukiyama's back, to which Tsukiyama stomped on her with one foot, shouting, "You commoner!" Shirakawa and Mariah interfered, delivering dropkicks from three directions. Shirakawa dropped a dropkick to Sakurai's knee and locked her in a leg lock. As she went for a figure-four leglock, DDM broke it up. Sakurai landed a series of elbows to Shirakawa. As Shirakawa charged, Sakurai hit her with a big boot to the face. Tsukiyama landed a series of elbows, and as Shirakawa charged in, Sakurai hit them both with a stunner. Giulia hit Shirakawa and Tsukiyama with a DDT and a dropkick, and then a neckbreaker on Shirakawa. Giulia and Shirakawa exchanged strikes. Shirakawa hit Giulia with a dragon screw. Mariah hit Giulia with a superplex Frankensteiner and a missile kick. When Giulia retaliates, she stops Mariah's charge and throws her backward. Thekla hits Mariah with a series of elbows and then applies a卍-hold. DDM supports Thekla with a series of submission holds. Thekla hits Mariah with a big boot. When Mariah retaliates, Thekla kicks her in the face multiple times. Mariah slams Thekla backward and then teams up with Shirakawa. Tsukiyama hits Thekla with a series of dropkicks. Thekla counters Tsukiyama's attempt at a Gokuraku Don. Shirakawa blocks the charge and delivers a thrust kick with Club Venus, and Tsukiyama lands the Gokuraku Don. Tsukiyama counters and grabs Thekla and takes her to the corner. Sakurai breaks up the hold, and Giulia and Thekla team up for a neckbreaker and a series of elbows. Thekla hits a brainbuster hold. Tsukiyama counters and Thekla gets into a double arm position. Tsukiyama counters with an O's Suplex. In the ensuing scramble, DDM delivers a series of corner attacks to Tsukiyama. Sakurai and Giulia lifted up Tekla, who delivered a Codebreaker from the corner. Tekla then announced her finish and delivered a Poison Spider Death Drop. Maika, who at one point considered leaving Donna del Mondo, has declared once again that she will continue fighting in DDM. However, she has also been teaming up with Suzu Suzuki and Mei Seira, with whom she has been teaming up frequently in Stardom recently. Maika, aiming to reach the top in the true sense of the word, probably sees this as another new opportunity. The interaction with Kamitani, who has been ahead of her in the white belt title picture, will be a point of interest. The high-speed showdown between AZM and Seira, and the matchup between Suzuki and Kamitani are also worth watching
The bell rang with AZM and Seira as the starting wrestlers. After feeling each other out, they locked up and grappled for an arm hold. AZM got a headlock, but Seira stomped on her foot and led her into rope work. Tensaki and Suzuki entered the ring, with Tensaki delivering a series of elbows. Suzuki retaliated with a knee and then stomped on her face. Suzuki did a soccer ball kick, but Tensaki countered. Maika caught Tensaki in her corner, and Suzuki and Seira joined in. Maika delivered a series of body slams to Tensaki. Seira also faked a body slam, but instead hung Tensaki in the corner and delivered a dropkick. Seira applied a camel clutch to Tensaki, and Suzuki ran back and forth between the ropes and delivered a dropkick. Tensaki went for an elbow, and Seira fought back. Seira announced a dropkick and landed it. Suzuki kicked Tensaki in the face and taunted her, "Come on, fight back!" Amasaki delivers a series of elbows, followed by a corner cartwheel elbow. However, Suzuki dodges and lands a dropkick. Amasaki dodges the charge and lands a corner cartwheel elbow, then a dropkick. AZM hits Suzuki and Seira together with a hurricanrana and a dropkick. Suzuki dodges AZM's charge and lands an elbow, and AZM lands a high kick. Suzuki rolls her up for a pin, but it's only a two count. AZM withstands the tequila shot but takes a thrust kick and a knee attack. Maika delivers a series of corner lariats to AZM. AZM dives, but Maika catches her. AZM escapes and goes for a hurricanrana. Kamitani attempts a swan dive, but Maika dodges. However, Kamitani lands a dropkick, followed by a corner knee attack and a dropkick. Maika and Kamitani exchange elbows. Maika lands a lariat as Kamitani charges. Kamitani attempted a knee attack, but Maika countered with a powerslam. Maika then delivered a brainbuster with long hang time before going for a sleeper hold. QQ stopped Maika's charge and Kamitani hit a fisherman suplex.Tenminutes had passed. Kamitani went for a star crusher, but Maika dodged it and hit a back drop. Kamitani hit a double kick and a spin kick. Maika landed a punch and Kamitani went down. Seira and Tensaki exchanged dropkicks. After an exchange of elbows, Tensaki charged, but Seira dodged and went for the cover. Tensaki kicked out, and Seira charged in the corner. Tensaki dodged, and QQ followed up with a high kick, then Tensaki hit a Tensei. However, Seira's shoulder was raised. Tensaki went for another, but Seira countered and grabbed her neck. She went for a modified dragon sleeper, but Tensaki's hands reached the ropes. Seira and Tensaki exchanged roll-up attempts. Maika and Suzuki combined their kicks on the apron, and Seira delivered a brainbuster. When Tensaki kicked out, Seira jumped onto the ropes. AZM interfered, and Tensaki delivered a swinging DDT. When Seira kicked out, Tensaki went for Tensho. Tensho countered, but Seira went for Amanohashidate. Kamiya and AZM performed a Frankensteiner in unison, sending their opponent out of the ring. Kamiya attempted a swan dive plancha, but it was dodged, resulting in a friendly fire incident.15minutes had passed. Maika's team joined forces, and Seira went for the cover, but Kamiya broke it up. Seira declared she would finish Tensaki with a neckbreaker, then a jackknife pin followed by a rolling prawn hold. Tensaki couldn't kick out, and the referee counted to three.
Seira: "Good evening everyone in Kochi. We won! Thank you. Yes, thank you so much for coming out in the rain and on such slippery ground. Today was actually my first main event in Stardom. And I won my first main event. I'm so happy. Thank you."
Maika: "I think we're a pretty good tag team. So far, the three of us are undefeated. Did you know that, everyone?"
Suzuki: "Hey, hey, hey, how was it for you guys in Kochi today? Will you all come again when Stardom has a match in Kochi? You guys are the best, thank you!"
