The Dark Match is a gauntlet match involving four teams , including a mixed unit team . The rules involve a series of 3v3 matches, with the last team standing being declared the winner. The members, unable to participate in the 5★STAR GP , want to dedicate their victory to their unit; Mizumori, determined to change herself in order to join the Cosmic Angels; and Seira, who continues to harbor a passion for the High Speed Championship, are all at odds.
The first teams were the STARS team of Iida, Kogo, and Koguma, and the Queens Quest team of Lady C , Amasaki, and Hinami. The match started with a powerful lock-up between Iida and Amasaki. After Iida put Amasaki in a headlock, Amasaki threw Iida into the ropes, but Iida landed a shoulder tackle. Amasaki was caught by STARS and subjected to a series of attacks, including a simultaneous dropkick from all three, but after Iida tagged in Kogo, she threw him into the corner and delivered a cartwheel elbow followed by a face crusher. Next, Lady C delivered a brainbuster from the top rope. STARS broke up the pin on Kogo, and Kogo landed a dropkick on Lady C. Koguma, who had been tagged in, engaged in a roll-up exchange with Hinami. Hinami gained the upper hand, but Kogo intervened with a 619 , and Koguma secured the three count with a side cradle pin on the injured Hinami.

The next team to enter is Donna del Mondo, consisting of Thekla and Sakurai, joined by Seira Mei. Before the bell rings, Seira and her team launch a surprise attack, with the three throwing each member of STARS into the ropes. Avoiding STARS ' simultaneous dropkicks, Sakurai's team delivers dropkicks to STARS instead . The three then line up and apply submission holds to STARS . Thekla puts Iida in a sickle hold, and they break up. Thekla follows up with a boot on Iida. Iida retaliates with a chop, but Thekla counters with an elbow, then a thrust kick before a dropkick, and Sakurai delivers a missile kick from the top rope. Sakurai and Seira immediately throw Iida into the corner, but Iida retaliates with chops and a shoulder tackle, turning the tables. Mukai receives the tag from Iida and delivers a dropkick to Sakurai, but the 619 is dodged. Thekla delivers a diving body attack from the top rope, and Sakurai lands a diving elbow. Following Koguma's face crusher on Sakurai, Mukai's 619 was successful. The three of them landed a combined face crusher, giving STARS the advantage, but Sakurai dodged Mukai's swan dive and went for a My Pan Roll for the three count.

The last team to enter was a mixed team consisting of Kashima, who had just joined God's Eye , Mizumori, a trainee from Cosmic Angels , and newcomer HANAKO . Kashima pulled HANAKO and Mizumori into the opposing team to start the match. Kashima repeatedly shook the two, damaging the opposing team, while Mizumori also pulled Kashima, but Kashima skillfully shook her back. Kashima delivered several body attacks to Sakurai in the corner, and as Sakurai lay on the mat, HANAKO slammed Mizumori onto Sakurai. Sakurai escaped HANAKO 's Argentine backbreaker, and Seira attempted a diving body attack, but HANAKO caught Seira. HANAKO then body-slammed Mizumori onto Sakurai. Sakurai escaped HANAKO 's Argentine backbreaker, and HANAKO caught Seira's diving body attack . With Thekla's intervention, Seira hit HANAKO with a Codebreaker, but Mizumori caught Seira on the top rope and, with Kashima's assistance, delivered a shoulder throw. HANAKO booted Seira, but Thekla interrupted and speared Mizumori and Kashima. Isolated, HANAKO managed to get some revenge on Seira with a vertical drop brainbuster, but was knocked out by two high-reaching dropkicks from Seira. The gauntlet match was won by the team of Sakurai, Thekla, and Seira.
After the match, Sakurai, holding the microphone, yelled "Shut up!" at the crowd, which was chanting "Lady."
Sakurai: "Greetings to all the common people visiting Ota Ward. Today, Mei-chan has become my butler and made the decision for me! You common people should wear the 'Gomen Asobase T-shirt' which goes on sale today, go to Fuji Soba, and then go home! So, Gomen Asobase!"
The match is over, and the 5★STAR GP is finally about to begin. As part of the opening ceremony, a video retrospective of the 5★STAR GP 's history was projected onto the curtains surrounding the ring . It showed the thoughts of past champions who have carried the history of Stardom on their shoulders, as well as the feelings of those who did not win. The curtains fell, revealing the ring where this year's 5★STAR GP participants were standing. As the announcers called out, the wrestlers walked from the ring down the ramp towards the entrance. Only one of them would claim the honor of victory. A hot and long summer has begun.

As Maika announced her name in the corner, Hanan ambushed her from behind. She performed a plancha on Maika who had fallen to the outside. Shouting, "I'm definitely going to win!", she brought Maika back into the ring and booted her as Maika leaned against the ropes. After a fierce attack, Maika threw Hanan into the corner, but Hanan countered with a body attack. As Hanan charged in, Maika delivered a powerslam. Hanan applied a submission hold from the front, but Maika forcibly lifted her up and delivered a brainbuster. Hanan cornered Maika with a dropkick and attempted a running body attack, but Maika countered with a back drop. The count was two. Hanan performed a hip toss, an elbow smash using the ropes as momentum, and a Famouser. As Hanan charged in with momentum, Maika hit her with a rolling lariat and a Michinoku Driver II, giving Maika the victory

Mariah, facing AZM, greeted her cheerfully with "Please take care of me." The audience reacted to Mariah's every move. Early in the match, AZM dodged Mariah's boot, and the two began to anticipate each other's moves. They aimed their signature moves, such as the C4 bomb and Pedigree, at each other. When Mariah caught AZM 's leg, AZM 's attack couldn't reach her, perhaps due to the height difference. AZM retaliated with a dropkick in response to Mariah's taunt of "So cute," not forgetting to make a sexy appeal. As AZM intensified her offensive , Mariah caught her, spun her around, and delivered a backbreaker. She cornered AZM while delivering a reverse horizontal chop. After a powerful blow, she pushed AZM into the corner and attempted a superplex, but AZM countered with a Marine Spike. She then delivered a foot stomp from the corner for the pin, a two count. Mariah attacks AZM as she climbs onto the corner , but AZM dodges her attack. However, Mariah grabs AZM and slams her into the corner. Mariah knocks Mariah out of the ring with a high kick over the top rope, and AZM attempts a low kick from the apron, but Mariah catches her leg and injures her. Mariah then powerbombs AZM out of the ring, returns to the ring with a sling blade, and a modified back drop. They grapple in the corner, but Mariah lands a missile kick. The count is two. After several roll-up attempts , AZM lands two kicks, and AZM wraps both legs around Mariah's neck to go for her finishing move, La Mistica, but Mariah lands a piledriver on AZM for the three count

She brought the heavily damaged Sorei back into the ring and attempted a cannonball on the corner, but Sorei dodged it. Sorei retaliated by hitting Natsuko in the corner with a series of chops. Natsuko managed to escape, and Sorei landed a particularly powerful blow and went for the pin, but it was only a two count. Next, they exchanged elbows in the center of the ring. They both ran to the ropes, aiming for the next blow, and Sorei delivered a brainbuster for the pin, but it was only a two count. Natsuko escaped from Sorei and landed a backfist, but Sorei countered with a lariat as Natsuko charged in, followed by a running lariat and a Blue Thunder. Natsuko managed to lift her shoulder, but she dodged Sorei's attempt at a lightning strike, pushed Sorei aside, and slammed her into the referee. Natsuko took advantage of the referee's incapacitation to brilliantly spray poison mist. The match started with a surprise dropkick from Kid. He hit Natsupoi outside the ring with a La Quebrada, then brought Natsupoi back into the ring and went for a throw onto the apron, but Natsupoi countered with a crown split followed by a German suplex. In the center of the ring, they exchanged frantic elbows, and Kid dodged Natsupoi's kick and delivered a neckbreaker. He attempted a moonsault from the corner, but Natsupoi countered with a crown split. They both tried to throw each other, each trying to get behind the other, and after a dropkick, Natsupoi charged in, but Kid stopped him with an elbow before delivering a Kitcherman and a moonsault press. Count of two. Natsupoi dodged Kid's throw attempt and delivered a Fairing Ring and a throwaway German suplex. He went for a Fairy Strain, but Kid resisted, and Kid kicked him to finish him off. Count of two. Kid followed Natsupoi up the corner and delivered an Eternal Four. It looked like both were down. Kid was the first to get up and delivered a double knee. Natsupoi countered Kurotora Tenpatsu with a roll-up, and they exchanged roll-up attempts. Kid went for Kurotora Tenpatsu again, but Natsupoi hit Fairy Magic and then the three-count. Shirakawa dodged a low dropkick but landed a kick to Hayashishita's knee. Hayashishita followed Shirakawa outside the ring and delivered a body slam to the outside. Aiming to rile up the crowd, Hayashishita attempted a brainbuster from under the ramp, but Shirakawa countered with a swingingDDT. Back in the ring, Shirakawa delivered a low dropkick to Hayashishita. Shirakawa slammed Hayashishita's neck into his knee, followed by a dropkick to the back. He then locked in a neck lock, cornering Hayashishita, who managed to escape. Despite Shirakawa's counterattacks, Hayashishita landed a bat-hanging drop, and both men fell from the damage. An elbow exchange ensued from a seated position, but Hayashishita was at a disadvantage against Shirakawa's fierce attack, however, he countered with a German suplex. Shirakawa kicked out of the pinfall attempt, and Hayashishita went for a Torture Rack Bomb in an Argentine position, but Shirakawa countered with a SwingDDTand a Running Neckbreaker. Shirakawa hooked Hayashishita on the top rope and slammed him onto the mat for a two count. Hayashishita delivered a missile kick from the corner. The pinfall was kicked out, and Hayashishita attempted a German Suplex, but due to the damage to his neck, he couldn't maintain the bridge and the count was one. Shirakawa escaped Hayashishita's Hijack Bomb and landed two backfists. He went for the pin with an ImplantDDTbut it was only a two count. She applied an armlock and went for the Miramare, but Momo escaped. Momo pursued MIRAI as she climbed to the corner , delivering a superplex followed by a Soumatou. Momo attempted a Tequila Sunrise, but MIRAI went for another Miramare. Momo escaped, and in her hand was a baseball bat. However, MIRAI dodged the bat and returned a powerful lariat, then delivered the SS Colombia with Michele. MIRAI kicked out of the pin, but then delivered a running lariat to Momo in the corner, followed by another lariat in the center of the ring. Just as MIRAI tried to lift Momo onto his shoulders, Momo escaped and landed his knee on MIRAI 's head. Momo then kicked MIRAI in the head, but MIRAI landed two lariats on Momo. Momo then hit MIRAI , who was charging in, with a German suplex followed by a heartless driver. MIRAI escaped Momo's attempt at a Peach Thunder and threw Momo back, but Momo rolled him up and kicked him hard in the face while he was off balance, then delivered a Peach Sunrise followed by a Peach Thunder for the three count.

It is blocked, but she attempts another German suplex. They go outside the ring. Suzuki brings the still-damaged Shuri back into the ring and knees her from behind. A fierce exchange of elbows ensues. Suzuki had the upper hand, but Shuri knocked her down with three middle kicks. Despite taking a German suplex from Shuri, Suzuki got back up and returned the favor with a German suplex of her own. Suzuki landed three kicks on Shuri, but Shuri countered with a high kick as Suzuki charged in, and the next kicks were a draw. Suzuki delivered a dolphin buster. Shuri put Suzuki in a sleeper hold. Suzuki escaped at the last moment. Despite taking a headbutt from Shuri, Suzuki pinned Shuri with a Gran Maestro de Tequila. It wasn't a three-count, but Shuri immediately followed up with a Tequila Shot. Shuri, having taken a German suplex, retaliated with a running knee. Iwatani counters Hazuki's attempt at a tope with a punch. Hazuki takes a dropkick from Iwatani as she returns to the ring, but catches her in a crossface lock. Iwatani escapes. She hits Iwatani, who is leaning against the ropes, with a boot followed by a brainbuster. Iwatani landed a high kick on Hazuki in the corner, but was hit with a missile kick by Hazuki. Hazuki immediately went for the pin, but the count was only two. They exchanged elbows, and the crowd roared as Hazuki landed a series of elbows. Iwatani ran in and hit a sling blade on Hazuki. Iwatani dropped a dropkick on Hazuki near the ropes. A diving body press from the corner. Hazuki dodged Iwatani's next moonsault, damaging herself in the process. Giulia threw an elbow to escape Anno and tried to throw Anno down the ramp, but Anno delivered a fisherman suplex towards the audience. "Here I go!" Anno shouted and threw Giulia into the audience. Anno was bleeding. However, Giulia turned the tables and threw Anno into the audience, then delivered a brainbuster to the floor outside the ring. Giulia brought out a table and delivered a piledriver to Anno. Back in the ring, the two exchanged elbows. Giulia used the rebound from the ropes to deliver an elbow that made Anno stumble, but they both tried to throw each other, getting behind each other, and Giuliaa DDT. Anno received a kick and a suplex. She hit a missile kick from the top rope. Giulia received a jumping high kick and a German suplex. Anno kicked Giulia in the face and tormented her, but Giulia hit a German suplex, and Anno hit one of hers too. Anno locked in a modified armbar, and Giulia managed to escape. Anno repeatedly slapped the resisting Giulia, but Giulia hit an Italian hook. Giulia rolled up Anno's Gannosuke clutch and powerbombed Anno as she charged in. Anno followed Giulia up to the corner and hit a superplex Frankensteiner and a dropkick. Giulia hit a superplex and a Falcon Arrow in quick succession, but Anno also hit potterings and German suplexes, but neither could deliver a decisive blow. Giulia hit a Glorious Driver, but the bell rang before the three count, resulting in a time limit draw.

Nakano reigns supreme at the top of Stardom, holding the red belt. The two men stared each other down before grappling for back control on the ground. After a headlock exchange, Kamiya executed a backslide. Nakano delivered a schoolboy pin followed by a dropkick. Nakano disappeared from view and reappeared from beside the monitor on the second floor. He delivered a plancha to Kamiya from the second floor. Kamiya jumped in at the perfect moment as Nakano ran down the ramp, delivering a foot stomp to the sliding Nakano. Returning to the ring, Kamiya climbed onto a pillar supporting the lights and attempted a plancha towards the audience. However, Kamiya was unable to move, and the referee stopped the match, giving the victory to Nakano
Post-match microphone
Nakano greeted everyone, saying, "Hello to everyone in space, and to everyone at Ota City General Gymnasium!"
For some reason, the lights in the venue were turned off, plunging it into darkness. When the lights came on in response to Nakano's demand to "Turn on the lights!", there was an unfamiliar wrestler. He then attacked Nakano

He announced this. Then Hayashishita appeared
