On September 20th in Osaka , Ami Sorei suddenly challenged Giulia for the STRONG Women's Championship. Giulia refused, citing Sorei's lack of experience, but a title match was later scheduled for October 1st at Korakuen Hall. Initially, a three-way match between Utami Hayashishita, Ami Sorei , and Yuna Mizumori was announced, but due to Hayashishita's injury, the match was changed to a singles match. In a way, this is advantageous for Sorei. Can she show a strong performance against the powerful Mizumori and convince the champion Giulia to take on the challenge?
Before the match, Strong Women's Champion Giulia took her place at the commentator's table and watched Sorei. Noticing Giulia, Sorei confronted Mizumori and they locked up. They both slammed their shoulders into each other, with Mizumori landing several. However, Sorei prevailed and sent Mizumori flying. Mizumori reversed Sorei's hold and rolled her up in a series of pins. When Sorei withstood an arm whip, Mizumori went for a crab hold followed by a cross body attack, a running body press, and a somersault drop. When Sorei kicked out, Mizumori delivered a "60.4kg" diving body press. Sorei kicked out again, and they exchanged elbows. Sorei countered with a lariat and a reverse Boston crab. When Mizumori escaped, Sorei stomped on her, did an airplane spin, and slammed her onto the mat. Sorei shouted "I'm going to finish this!" and took Mizumori's back. Mizumori broke free and delivered a lariat. Sorei kicked out, and Mizumori delivered a lariat. Sorei broke up the hold and delivered a brainbuster and a lariat. But Mizumori fights back. Sorei pulls Mizumori up and hits her with Blue Thunder. She doesn't go for the cover, but instead hits her with a lightning strike. Sorei looks at Giulia and goes for the cover. The three count comes in, and Sorei pins Mizumori. Sorei attacks Giulia, and a brawl ensues. HANAKO intervenes, and Giulia complains. HANAKO then gets into the ring and says, "Your opponent today is me, isn't it? Come on up!"
The bell for the second match was then struck.

Giulia countered with a sleeper hold. HANAKO slammed her forward but Giulia rolled her up. HANAKO kicked out and Giulia delivered a dropkick and a DDT. HANAKO kicked out of the one-legged cover. Iida retaliated with a series of lariats. Megan caught her and delivered a body slam. Iida dodged a senton and attempted a lariat, but Megan kicked out for a one count. Iida dodged a big boot and delivered a double dropkick with Koguma. However, Megan hit both of them with lariats. Iida kicked out, and Megan went for a neck hanging. Iida countered with a series of chops. Megan caught them and applied a stomp hold. Koguma interfered, and Megan threw Seira onto Koguma outside the ring, signaling the finish. Hanan and Mariah both secured their spots in the 5★STAR GP by surviving the rumble match that determined the final entry, and they even teamed up and exchanged costumes at the Dream Tag Festival. Will this prelude be a battle geared towards a one-on-one showdown?
Before the match, Mariah called out Club Venus, and her opponent Hanan also called out as "Club Venus's Young Lioness." Hanan was then called out again as Hanan of STARS. Mariah called Hanan over and hugged her. Tsukiyama separated them, saying, "Wait a minute. You're not in yet." The match started with Tsukiyama and Hanan. After a test of strength in a lock-up, Hanan drove Tsukiyama to the ropes. Tsukiyama landed a kick and Mariah followed up with a dropkick from both sides. Tsukiyama hit Hanan with a series of hip attacks. Hanan stopped Tsukiyama's charge with a hip throw and teamed up with Iwatani. They attacked Tsukiyama in combination and retaliated with a dropkick from both sides. Iwatani hit Tsukiyama with a body slam and a soccer ball kick. Tsukiyama retaliated and hit Iwatani with a cross body. Mariah hit Iwatani with a dropkick, a series of reverse chops, a superplex Frankensteiner, and a missile kick. Oedo Tai corner MIRAI and launch a coordinated attack. Natsuko brings her back to the center and delivers a body slam and a senton. MIRAI counters, dodges a lariat, and lands a shoulder tackle. However, Natsuko endures and sends Kid flying with a shoulder tackle. Natsuko applies a camel clutch and Kid delivers a dropkick. Natsuko and Kid try to tag in, but MIRAI separates them and tags in Kashima. Kashima hits Natsuko with a face crusher. Natsuko retaliates, and Kashima and Shuri tag in. Natsuko slips through, dodging Kashima's face crusher, which lands on Shuri. Shuri and Kashima start arguing. When Natsuko attacks, Shuri and Kashima kick her in from both sides. However, Kid makes the cut, and there are 2 minutes remaining. Ryuka and MIRAI exchanged lariats in quick succession. After dodging each other, MIRAI landed a lariat. Ryuka quickly got back up but took another one. MIRAI landed yet another lariat. Ryuka couldn't counter, and MIRAI won.

After an exchange of elbows, Maika hits a series of blows but Shirakawa hits open-hand slaps and a series of strikes. As Shirakawa charges, Maika hits a lariat. She gets Shirakawa up and hits her with a camellia. Shirakawa countered, catching Maika's middle kick, lifting her up, spinning her around, and slamming her onto the mat. Maika declared she was going for the finish and went for the Enka Otoshi. Shirakawa countered with a reverse DDT, but both were down. They both got up, Shirakawa hit a rolling elbow, Maika a lariat, Shirakawa a dragon screw, and declared "It's over!"-four. Maika escaped, and Shirakawa put her on the ropes and hit a DDT. When Hazuki escaped, Suzuki set her on the apron and delivered a dropkick from below the ring. However, Hazuki dodged it and delivered a dropkick of her own, a tope to the outside, brought her back into the ring and delivered a big boot, a DDT, and a face lock. When Suzuki escaped, Hazuki climbed onto the corner. Suzuki stood up and headed to the corner, shouting, "Don't mess with me!" Suzuki lands a series of elbows. Hazuki knocks her down with an elbow, but Suzuki slaps her from below, climbs to the corner and lands more elbows, followed by a superplex Frankensteiner. Suzuki stops Hazuki's charge, but Hazuki hits a DDT. Suzuki slams Hazuki to the side from a Canadian suplex, but Suzuki kicks out. Hazuki lands a running elbow, puts Suzuki on the corner and hits a Codebreaker, then a diving senton. But Suzuki kicks out. Hazuki pulls Suzuki up and attempts a vertical drop. Suzuki counters and rolls her up, but only gets a two count. Suzuki stops Hazuki's charge and hits a German suplex.10minutes have passed. Suzuki kicks Suzuki in the face, but Hazuki hits a Codebreaker. Suzuki doesn't fall and kicks Suzuki in the face. Hazuki kicks out, and Suzuki hits her with a knee attack from behind. When Hazuki returned the move, Suzuki hit her with a tequila shot. However, Hazuki managed to return it. Suzuki declared she was going for the finish and took Suzuki's back. She attempted a locomotion German suplex, but Hazuki rolled her up and delivered a Hazukistral. Suzuki countered, then stopped her charge and delivered a locomotion German suplex. The referee counted to three, and Suzuki defeated Hazuki. After the match, Suzuki offered a handshake, but Hazuki slapped her and left the ring.
