This challenge match sees Nagoya native and last year's Rookie of the Year, Yumizuki, take on Stardom icon Mayu Iwatani. As a match between fellow STARS members, and with Yumizuki having joined STARS because she admired Iwatani, the question is what she will bring to the match against the icon. This singles match is also highly anticipated as it features the Rookie of the Year challenging the IWGP Women's Champion
The match began with both competitors exchanging a clean handshake and saying, "Please!" After a lock-up, Iwatani went for Yumizuki's arm, and Yumizuki fought back. When Iwatani tried to take the match to the ground, Yumizuki broke free and went for rope work. Yumizuki delivered an arm whip followed by a dropkick. She attempted a triangle jump and grabbed Iwatani's arm, but Iwatani refused. Yumizuki then unleashed a series of dropkicks, which Iwatani accepted and countered with a single dropkick that sent her flying. Iwatani cornered Yumizuki and delivered a series of chops. She followed up with a soccer ball kick and then a reverse Boston crab. When Yumizuki escaped, Iwatani kicked her in the back. Iwatani then appealed to the audience, saying, "Cheer her on more and more!" and stood defiantly in front of Yumizuki. Yumizuki came at Iwatani with a series of elbows, but Iwatani knocked her down with one. Yumizuki was not thrown into the ropes and delivered a hurricanrana followed by a dropkick. Iwatani retaliated, and they exchanged elbows. Yumizuki landed a series of blows, sending Iwatani down. Yumizuki followed with a hip throw and a body slam. Iwatani countered with a German suplex. She then laid the downed Yumizuki down and delivered a diving foot stomp. When Yumizuki kicked out, Iwatani declared her finish and went for a full nelson. Yumizuki attempted several roll-ups, but Iwatani managed to escape. Yumizuki landed a series of elbows, and Iwatani countered with a thrust kick. Iwatani told the downed Yumizuki to "get up on your own." As Yumizuki stood up, Iwatani delivered another thrust kick. Yumizuki kicked out, and Iwatani hit a dragon suplex. The referee counted to three, and Iwatani pinned Yumizuki. After the match, Iwatani extended her hand, and Yumizuki stood up and shook her hand

Yagami broke free, but Shirakawa caught her leg and applied the figure-four leglock. God's Eye immediately broke up the pin, with Shuri and MIRAI delivering dropkicks, and Yagami delivering a soccer ball kick. Shirakawa countered, and Yagami went for an armbar. This time, EXV intervenes. HANAKO cuts off Yagami's charge, Gina throws him off, and Shirakawa delivers a rolling elbow. Shirakawa aims for Yagami and attempts a neckbreaker, but God's Eye intervenes just in time. Gina and HANAKO lift Yagami up and Shirakawa joins them with a body press from above to form the Venus Tower. They pin him for the three count, and Shirakawa defeats Yagami

AZM's comment
"I lost. Every year I say, 'This year for sure,' and everyone says, 'This year it's AZM-chan,' but I just can't win, and I lose at the crucial moments. Ah, I want to cry, but I've decided I'll only cry when I win, so it's okay, it's okay. Well, today's loss hurts a lot, but I'll forget about it now. It's fine. If I had to say, Cinderella's reason for losing was that I stumbled over my words a lot during the press conference, I'm sorry!"

| Nakano Tam |
at 15 minutes and 00 seconds |
Julia |
When Giulia's departure from Stardom was announced, Tam Nakano demanded a one-on-one match. The two became rivals after a battle for the white belt, and they even had a title match at Stardom's Nippon Budokan where they put their hair on the line in the main event. This will be their first one-on-one match since April 23rd last year atYokohamaArena. Last time, Giulia was the red belt champion, and Nakano won to become the new champion. Giulia's reign was surprisingly short-lived, and Nakano was later forced to relinquish the title due to injury. Neither of them can be said to have had an unfulfilled battle for the red belt. This will be their first singles match since then, and it will likely be the last time Giulia faces Nakano in a singles match as a Stardom wrestler. Giulia has missed two events; are there any health problems? And what kind of scene will unfold after the match?
As Nakano slowly extended her hand, Giulia also reached out. Then Nakano unleashed a flurry of open-handed slaps, which Giulia retaliated against, and the match began. After an exchange of slaps, Giulia collapsed. Giulia got up and slapped Nakano, who ran in and delivered an elbow and a thrust kick. Nakano pushed Giulia onto the apron and took her back. Giulia countered and prepared for a back drop. Nakano resisted, and Giulia delivered a neckbreaker over the ropes. Giulia appealed, "Nagoya, you'll see!", and brought Nakano back into the ring for a missile kick. When Nakano countered, Giulia locked her arm. When Nakano escaped, Giulia put her left arm on the ropes and choked her. She followed up with a dropkick to the left arm, and then a suplex while her arm was locked. She cornered Nakano and delivered an elbow, then stomped on her face, shouting, "You're ugly!". Nakano kicked Giulia's charge away and grabbed her neck on the corner, hanging her upside down. Giulia fell to the outside, and Nakano jumped up with a plancha. Nakano brings Giulia back into the ring and assumes a Tiger Suplex stance. When Giulia resists, Nakano slams her down with a back drop. Nakano lands a knee attack from behind, but only gets a two count. She climbs to the corner, and Giulia slaps her from below. They exchange slaps on the corner. Nakano lands a series of slaps, sending Giulia tumbling down. Giulia gets up and delivers a dropkick from below. Nakano resists, and Giulia prepares for a top-rope double arm suplex. When Nakano resists, Giulia delivers a series of headbutts, then a top-rope double arm suplex. Giulia hits a Falcon Arrow. Nakano reverses the cover and delivers a German suplex in locomotion. Giulia kicks out, dodges a spin kick, and hits a headbutt. Both are down, and10minutes have passed. They both get up and charge at each other, Nakano lands a spin kick, and Giulia hits a dropkick. They exchange slaps, and Giulia delivers a back drop. Nakano immediately kicks out a Tiger Suplex. Giulia quickly kicks out of it, and Nakano lands a kick, then goes for a VSD. Giulia counters and slams Nakano with a high-angle Glorious Driver. Nakano kicks out before the count. Three minutes remaining. Giulia announces her finish and delivers a Glorious Driver. Nakano kicks out, and Giulia declares her finish and delivers a Northern Lights Bomb. Giulia lifts Nakano's shoulders and pulls her up, getting into a wrist clutch position. Giulia tries to lift her, but Nakano slams her down instead. Nakano screams and gets up and delivers a Twilight Dream. One minute remaining. Giulia kicks out, and Nakano tries to go for a VSD, but can't lift her. Nakano mounts Giulia and delivers a series of slaps, then a VSD. Nakano pulls her up, with10seconds remaining. Giulia slaps Nakano, and they exchange slaps back and forth. The time runs out, but both wrestlers exchange headbutts. Giulia pushes the referee out of the ring, but both wrestlers lie sprawled on the ring.
Nakano: "It's really refreshing! It's refreshing to think that I won't have to see your face, which I hated so much!! It's really refreshing to think that once you're gone, I won't have to show my face in public with this swollen face, the most beaten-up face in the universe, get covered in blood at press conferences, fight in swimsuits, throw protein powder at each other, line up on Twitter, and all of that will be gone! Hey, Julia...You and I were the kind of people who might or might not meet in a lifetime. Right? Don't go...Don't quit..."
Julia: "Haa, you said exactly what I was thinking. Feeling refreshed? That's what I should be saying. Whenever I came to work, your face was there in the office, you were hanging around the dressing room, you were hanging around the bus when we traveled, and now that I won't have to see you anymore, I feel refreshed too. You said you wouldn't forgive me if I found a rival better than you, right? I've fought you over and over and over again, and today I've come to one answer. I'm not going to quit Stardom...No way, you idiot! (Nakano collapses) A rival better than you? There are tons of women in this world who are better than you!"
Nakano: "He's not here, he's not here, he's not here, he's definitely not here."
Julia: "But, but, but, one thing. If the day ever comes when you leave the ring before me, you must call me. As long as you're alive, you must call me. Wherever I am, wherever you are, I will always be your final opponent! I won't forgive you if you choose another woman, you ugly bitch!"
Giulia slaps Nakano. Nakano tries to slap her back, but Giulia dodges. Nakano tackles Giulia, throws the microphone down and says "You idiot!", then mounts her and slaps her. The referee intervenes. Giulia throws the microphone down and leaves, saying "Thanks, Tamu"
Comments from Tam Nakano
"Hey, am I ugly? Hey, I'm ugly, right? It's really, really refreshing! It's really refreshing to think that I won't have to show this ugliest face in the universe to people anymore! Giulia and Tam are theonce, right? That's what you think, right?! What? You want me to invite you when Tam retires? Don't be ridiculous! I'm not inviting you to my wedding or my funeral! I will absolutely never forgive you if you ever get involved with another woman besides me. I'll curse you for the rest of your life! Tam is going to make Stardom the number one organization in the world. So... let's meet again at the top of this world. See you later!"
Julia's commentト
"Ouch... Sigh, fighting him one- on -one ... This is the seventh time in these four years? Seventh time, huh... It's hard to believe it's been that long. As I said in the ring, it's such a refreshing, wonderful feeling to think that I won't be seeing you again. But then it gets like this (shows his forehead), ah, my head gets all dizzy in the beginning, and I don't think I could have a fight like this with anyone but you, where my guts boil every time and I lose all sense of what's going on! Ah, it feels so refreshing! But, what I said at the end, I'm sure we'll meet again, in the ring. And that time will be the last time for you. To say something like that... Maybe I've been cursed by you. Tam, Arrivederci! See you again... See you again!"

Main comment
Shimi: "We lost, and I'm in such a mess, but I feel incredibly happy and it was so much fun."
Maika: "Don't go ahead and leave. Wait. We've fought so much... This is the best I've ever been. How many times do you think we've faced each other here? You're showing your best performance ever now. Just wait a moment."
Shimi: "Your voice is so hoarse."
Maika: "Wait a minute. You're so noisy. I came all the way here chasing after you. I've just finally overtaken you."
Shimi: "I haven't overtaken you."
Maika: "But today I'm the champion. I'm waiting for your next challenge. But since I won today, maybe you'll listen to what I have to say for once. Listen to what I have to say for once."
Shimi: "It depends on the thing, doesn't it?"
Maika: "It depends on the item? So what's wrong with it then?"
Shimi: "There's absolutely no way I'm going to team up with you."
Maika: "I see. But that's not it. Well, it's my birthday soon, next time. It's my birthday, so maybe you could share a drink with me again? What do you think? Maybe tonight?"
Shimi: "So you want to go out for drinks?"
Maika: "No, drinking is a bit too much for me. How about we just grab a quick drink somewhere and then go our separate ways?"
Shimi: "I wondered what you wanted, and it's alcohol?"
Maika: "The only thing you and I have in common is alcohol. That's about it."
Shimi: "Today's okay, it's special. I'm feeling so incredibly happy, so I'll treat you to just one drink, a red champion. Since I'm treating you, you better have the champion prepare the drink. Thanks."
Maika: "Hey, you've gotten stingy, you know. You know. Let's also talk about Watanabe Momo. She's been coming on and on, but the timing is bad, the timing is bad. But April 4th, in America. I want to fight Megan (Bain), and I'm sure Megan would be okay with it, right? The answer is yes only, yes only. Yes only. I'm looking forward to April 4th, Megan. If I can defend my title in that match, I might do it, Momo."
