Starlight Kid joins forces with Mayu Iwatani and Hanan of STARS to face their long-standing rivals, Oedo Tai, in a six-person tag team match. Oedo Tai will be represented by the trio of Natsuko Tora, Thekla, and Fukigen Desu★. Iwatani welcomed Kid to her homecoming match on May 3rd in Yamaguchi, where she formed a trio with Tam Nakano. This will be the first time Iwatani and Kid have teamed up since then. Since being expelled from Oedo Tai, Kid has often teamed with Nakano's Kozuen, but this time she will team with Iwatani again. " Hana: "Kid, I realized today that I don't dislike teaming with you. I don't dislike it, I don't dislike having you next to me. So I think you have your own thoughts, so do as you please. I just want to say that I don't dislike it. I have something I want to say, it has been decided that next week (May 18) at Yokohama Budokan, Best Friends (Arisa Nakajima & Tsukasa Fujimoto) and I, Mayu, will be fighting. I know there will be a lot of different opinions, but Mayu and I will show you what Stardom is all about, so please look forward to it! We also have a show at Korakuen tomorrow (May 12), so please come and support Hazuki and Koguma's Goddesses, thank you for today!"
Comments from Mayu Iwatani, Hanan, and Starlight Kid
Kid: "I'm done with the Oedo Tai guys. I haven't made up my mind yet, and I don't think I'll watch if Ryuuka isn't there. There are some Oedo Tai members who haven't mentioned me at all since BUNTAI, but they haven't disappeared from my perspective. Anyway, Ryuuka, get well soon and come back. You idiot. I'm going to enjoy my time as an independent for now. Thanks for the great inspiration today."
Kid leaves.
Hanan: "I didn't mind it. I mean, I don't know, I was kind of expelled or left, but I didn't mind coming back either, so it's up to Kid. More than that, it's been decided that we'll be facing Best Friends at Yokohama Budokan, and I'm already feeling nervous
." Iwatani: "It's nerve-wracking, isn't it? But you know, with these two icons, the icons of the future, by our side fighting, we'll be fine. Those two, one is nearing retirement and the other has made a comeback. I don't really know much about them, but I think we'll be fine with our own power, well, we're not trying to underestimate our opponents, but we'll do our best."
Hanan: "We also have a show at Korakuen tomorrow, so please come and watch."
Iwatani & Hanan: "We are STARS!"
