Yuzuki Hoshino |
With Natsu absent due to the flu, the match was changed to a challenging singles match in which Hoshino would take on Konami
As the bell rang, Hoshino went for a low tackle, but Konami easily countered by crushing her from above. They then fought for the wrist, and after a ropework battle, Hoshino attempted a dropkick, but Konami dodged it and scored a penalty. She then hit a soccer ball kick and put Hoshino in a sleeper hold, but Hoshino somehow made it to the ropes
Konami pushed Hoshino into the corner and stomped on him, hurting him with a series of gut shots, but Hoshino countered with an elbow. Konami, with a grin on her face, unleashed a middle kick, sending Hoshino flying with a powerful blow. She then went for a body slam, but Hoshino countered with a neck lock. Konami kicked out and went to the ropes, where Hoshino countered with a dropkick
Hoshino shouted, "I'm going up!" and went for a body slam, but Konami lowered her hips to withstand it and followed up with a slap and a side kick. She then launched a high kick, but Hoshino dodged it and jumped on her from behind for a sleeper hold. Konami countered with a neck throw and attempted a penalty kick, but Hoshino dodged it and followed with a schoolboy and a dropkick. She then shouted, "Not yet! Get up!" and followed up with three consecutive dropkicks. She then launched another dropkick, but Konami dodged it, grabbed her ankle, and applied an ankle lock. Seeing that Hoshino wasn't going to give up, she switched positions and went for a German suplex, but Hoshino countered with a Casadora and then jumped on her for a chokehold sleeper hold. Konami rose to her feet and grabbed the ropes, and Hoshino followed with a schoolboy and a low dropkick. She then shouted, "Not yet!" and jumped to the ropes for a hurricanrana, but it only got a two count
He declared "I'm going up!" again and slammed her down with a body slam. Even when Konami kicked out, he continued to hold on for consecutive pinfalls and delivered a barrage of elbows. Hoshino then went for the ropes, but Konami countered with a middle kick and then a buzzsaw kick. Finally, he slammed her down with a Northern Lights Suplex Hold for a commanding victory

In their first High-Speed GP match, AZM and DEATHYAMA started off with a gut shot as the bell rang, before sending him into the ropes. They dodged each other's blows with dizzying ropework, trading roll-ups like the Casadora and Schoolboy, as well as a see-saw game of counter-attacks with shrimp holds. The match ended evenly, with both women temporarily distancing themselves, but AZM quickly charged in and landed a Mystica, to which DEATHYAMA immediately countered with a crucifix. AZM kicked out, grabbed DEATHYAMA's arm, and pinned him with Azumi Sushi for the three count. The match took just 44 seconds, making it a truly lightning-fast victory

◆ Kagetsu Retirement Road ~ Encounter with the Future ~ 15-minute single match |

Kamiya Saya |
In this match, promising rookie Kamitani, who was named Rookie of the Year in 2019, faces Kagetsu, who is about to retire and retire, in her first and final singles match. As the bell rang, Kamitani charged in with a dropkick and shouted, "One more!" for the second. Kagetsu smiled and taunted, saying, "Bring it on!" as she unleashed a third and fourth kick, but Kagetsu dodged the fourth kick, saying, "Sorry about that," and self-destructed, tossing her out of the ring and bringing out a chair. This infuriated referee Murayama, who then let go of the chair and, in a good mood, stormed into the audience, continuing his assault, before returning it to the ring to reset the count and heading out of the ring again in a different direction
Kagetsu lined up a bunch of chairs from the audience and body-slammed Kamitani onto them. Humming, she teased, "Just because you're a rookie doesn't mean I'll show you any mercy~♪," and brought Kamitani back into the ring. She taunted, "What's wrong?" as she delivered a series of middle kicks to the half-down Kamitani. Kamitani roared and showed her determination to endure, but Kagetsu knocked her down with powerful middle kicks and applied a reverse crab hold at such a steep angle that Kamitani was bent over in a U-shape
When Kamitani broke away, Kagetsu filled her mouth with water from a plastic bottle and sprayed it at Kamitani's face. Referee Murayama emphasized, "Don't blow! Don't blow!", but Kagetsu feinted and sprayed it at Murayama's face as well. As an enraged referee Murayama cheered, "Kamitani! Get revenge!", Kamitani shouted, "Don't underestimate me!" and delivered a dropkick. However, Kagetsu responded with a dropkick, shouting, "Hey, you damn rookie, that's all you can get!" Undeterred, Kamitani delivered another dropkick, sending her flying, and then body slammed her, declaring, "Here's my revenge!" before applying a reverse crab hold. Kagetsu comfortably pushed up, but Kamitani sat firmly on her waist with a reverse crab hold, but Kagetsu somehow managed to break free
Kamitani went for another body slam, but Kagetsu landed and swung her into the corner, but she jumped onto the second corner and turned around to deliver a missile kick. She then climbed to the top of the corner, spreading her arms and preparing to block it head-on, before delivering a standard missile kick to Kagetsu. She then attempted a backflip double knee drop and a running shooting star press, but Kagetsu dodged it and used Tamu's move (sliding knee). Kagetsu yelled, "OK, I'll finish this," and slammed her down with a backflip, but Kamitani countered with a brainbuster. Kagetsu went for the pin with a "it's over," but Kamitani still showed her determination by retaliating at the count of two. Kagetsu slammed her down again with a chokeslam, and when Kamitani countered at two, she showed her impatience by protesting to the referee, "It should be three!"
Kagetsu went for another Ebisu Otoshi, but Kamitani greedily aimed for victory with a schoolboy, a leg roll clutch and a roll-up. When Kamitani went to the ropes, Kagetsu countered with a high kick and applied a reverse crab hold to the collapsing Kamitani. Kamitani tried to hang on with push-ups and headed for the ropes, but Kagetsu pulled her back to the center and dropped her hips firmly, forcing Kamitani to tap out
As Kamitani bursts into tears, Kagetsu takes the microphone
Kagetsu: "You guys in Osaka! How are you? One more! How are you? That's great! Kamitani, hey, are you frustrated? Wow, you look so frustrated (laughs). Well, I didn't think I had anything to say to you, a shitty rookie, but after your match just now, I'll say one thing... no, two, maybe three things to you. Kamitani, people have high hopes for you, don't they? From the company and from those around you. You're not even doing well in matches, and you're being made to sing in the opening. Well, I'm sorry if that's a bit misleading. You're being made to sing, and recently you've been selected more and more often for main roles. Right? I think it must be a lot of pressure. I've experienced this myself in the past, so I know you can relate to this pressure and tension. It's something you can only understand beforehand, and the people around you won't know. But, although there may be that pressure, you have been given far more opportunities than other newcomers and young fighters. Do you understand that? Well, don't get used to your current position. Don't get carried away. Just those two things. Everyone will eventually hit a wall. That's when it happens. It all depends on how you spend this time. At that time, what kind of practice you do now, what kind of study you do, and what you absorb from whom will determine your path when you hit a wall. Don't waste your current position! That's all! I'm glad I had the chance to face you one last time before I retire. Thank you!
Kagetsu raised the crying Kamitani's right hand and praised her for her good performance

With Natsumire Natsu and Natsuko Tora absent due to the flu, Oedo Tai's new members Kashima and Jamie and Sky will face off against TCS. Both teams have won the afternoon tournament that day, so both teams will be looking to continue their winning streak and gain momentum
Kashima challenged Hana Kimura, saying, "Kimura Hana, come out, I'll kill you in 2020," to which Hana responded, "OK! Go ahead and do it if you can!", and the two rang. Kashima dodged Hana's big boot right after the bell rang, and rolled her up in a desperate comeback, making it seem like she was really going to be killed in an instant, but the TCS team made a desperate cut
Hana jumps to the ropes, but Jamie holds her down from the apron, and Kashima hits her with a dropkick. Then, she ties Hana to the ropes and places a rubber band in her mouth. Kashima then drags the rubber band to the audience and attacks Hana with a snap. Jamie calls out "Moikkaai!" as she goes for a second hit, but this time Hana opens her mouth first and lets go of the rubber band, dealing major damage to Kashima, and then she hits Jamie and Sky with a double dropkick
The three TCS members took revenge by beating Kashima up with a simultaneous stomp, and then Hana tied Kashima's arms to the ropes and held them in place while striking a sexy pose

In the matchup between Layla and Kashima, Kashima dodged Layla's elbow and applied a double arm suplex hold followed by a diving foot stomp. Kashima then threw Layla into the corner, but Layla turned around and hit a running elbow. However, the members of Oedo Tai came out and took turns landing strikes to assist, and Kashima applied another diving foot stomp. She went for a pinfall, but the TCS members all joined in to cut her off. Kashima went for a "my emblem," but Layla shook her off and hit a neckbreaker, followed by a German suplex and a running knee. Layla called for Hana to tag in, but Sky prevented her from doing so and Kashima returned. Kashima landed a blow to Layla to prevent the tag before tagging in Sky

The STARS vs. Queens Quest match is a preliminary match between Iwatani and Momo, who are scheduled to compete for the red belt, and a double preliminary match between Hoshiki and Utami, who are scheduled to compete for the white belt
When B asks for a handshake, Iwatani holds out his hand cautiously, grasping only his index finger, and shakes hands. Tamu then tries to follow suit, but B pulls his hand back at the last moment, adopting a provocative attitude
As the bell rang, Bea and Riho pushed forward with a drop-up, and Bea moved away while singing "Clean♪Break♪" before hitting a slap. Riho, enraged by this, threw her down with a corbata and went for a 619, but Bea dodged it. Riho went for a crossbody, but Bea caught it and hit a swinging body slam
Onozaki takes over and goes for a body slam, but Riho withstands it and goes for a body slam instead. She then throws him into the corner and hits a thrust knee before tagging in Tam
Tamu threw Onozaki by the neck and delivered a soccer ball kick, and when Onozaki fell and writhed, he forced himself up and hit him repeatedly. He then applied a camel clutch to strangle Onozaki, bringing the situation to a torture time, but when he saw that Onozaki was not going to give up, he released him and got the pin. After he countered with two, he tagged in Hoshiki
Hoshiki immediately called out, "Okay, Tamu-chan!" to Tamu, who cooperated despite being threatening with a "Huh?" The two hit a double big boot followed by a knee drop, and Hoshiki followed with a body slam and tagged in Iwatani
Iwatani quickly inflicts pain on Onozaki with a skewer dropkick, a knee drop, and a foot stamp, then works her way up to a reverse crab hold, and when Onozaki breaks the ropes, she jumps on his back and continues to inflict pain. She tags in Riho
Riho caught Onozaki in a Yumiya-gatame and then tried to lift her up, shouting "What's wrong, idiot?", but Onozaki followed up with a series of determined elbows, a schoolboy, and a running sliding back elbow. She tagged in Bea
Bee hits a running elbow to Riho followed by a belly-to-belly back drop. Bee makes a gesture of breaking something with her knee to show off her V-Trigger and runs to the ropes, but Riho dodges it and jumps to the ropes, then jumps onto the corner with a 619 and a diving foot stomp. She tags in Hoshiki
Hoshiki launches a high kick at Bee, but Bee dodges it, slides back to his own corner and tags in Shiori
Hoshiki and Utami, who have a history of rivalry over the white belt, faced off in a match. After exchanging elbows, Utami launched a dropkick, but Hoshiki immediately countered with a thrust kick. Utami survived and knocked Hoshiki down with a lariat, followed by a missile kick and a German suplex. She then applied a sleeper hold to weaken her and went for an Argentine backbreaker, but Hoshiki landed behind her and delivered a high kick. Utami, who had endured and remained up, slammed into a second high kick, and both women were down for a double tag
In the match for the red belt, Iwatani and Momo faced off with a dropkick, Momo with a middle kick, they exchanged elbows and middle kicks, and Momo won and went for a Tequila Sunrise, but Iwatani countered with a Dodonpa and went for the rule-breaking Peach Sunrise, but Momo endured and followed up with a thrust kick, a rule-breaking dragon suplex, and a Somadou
Iwatani survives and Tamu and Momo come face to face. Tamu dodges Momo's high kick and jumps to the ropes, but Momo retaliates with a middle kick and tags in Onozaki
Tamu and Onozaki traded elbows, and after winning, Tamu sent Onozaki to the corner, but Onozaki jumped onto the corner and hit a diving back elbow. She ran to the ropes, but Tamu hit a back drop. Riho and Iwatani followed up, and Tamu and Hoshiki sandwiched her with a penalty kick and a soccer ball kick, followed by a buzzsaw kick. Tamu then went for a tiger suplex, but the QQ members surged into the ring, with Bea using a V-Trigger, Utami using a shoulder throw, and Momo using a blue sword to attack Tamu and rescue Onozaki. They then all attempted simultaneous dropkicks on Tamu, but Tamu dodged them, and the STARS members followed up with simultaneous dropkicks and running knees. After the STARS members kicked each other out of the ring, the four STARS members climbed to their respective corners and performed simultaneous planchas outside the ring. Tamu brought Onozaki back into the ring and hit him with a Violet Shooting, then slammed him in the face with Dodon.tam, causing Onozaki to run out of strength and resulting in the three count
Even though Tamu won, it was Hoshiki who took the microphone first
Hoshiki: "Sorry, I'm holding the microphone now. We, STARS, have been losing to QQ all this year. But today, STARS was able to win!"
Tamu: "No, I won."
Hoshiki: "That's right. OK OK, thank you. Is it Dodon Dot Tom?"
Tamu: "Dot Tamu?!"
Hoshiki: "Ah, yes. Dot Tamun (laughs). Well, that's a victory for STARS. I have something else to talk about now, so I'll start now and talk about the Korakuen Hall show on January 19th. It's not long now. (Turning to Utami)...Hayashishita-san? How long can you keep up that calm expression?"
(Utaimi pushes Hoshiki away and takes the microphone)
Utami: "Shut up, you know. Say whatever you want. Even if STARS wins now, the outcome will all be decided on January 19th at Korakuen Hall. On January 19th, I will beat you and take the white belt. Nothing more, nothing less."
Momo: "I'd like to say something too, Iwatani Mayu-san! I'll be having my coming-of-age ceremony the day after tomorrow! Congratulations! It's such a happy occasion! So to commemorate my coming-of-age, please give me that red belt. It's a keepsake after all! Can I have that belt?"
(Iwatani takes the microphone and heads towards the crowd, ignoring Momo)
Iwatani: "Everyone in Osaka! Good evening! So, that's Osaka! My first Osaka appearance of the year! I'm here! ...Momo, you've come of age, congratulations, but it's not something that can be taken lightly. It's not something that can be given to you just by saying, 'Can I have it?' Seriously, Korakuen, come and beat me. But, Momo! I may be young at only 20 years old! I'm 6 years older than you! 6 years older! I have more experience than Momo! 6 years... that's all I have... but, well, that's fine. I'm looking forward to it. Today, the dragon suplex you threw was extremely effective, even though you just kept throwing it. But Korakuen, this time I'm going to throw you. Bang!"
(Iwatani puts down the microphone and jumps back as if fleeing)
Momo: "Since I've put it there, does that mean I can close it now? Should I?"
Tamu: "...Um, thank you so much for all the wonderful stories. But I'm the one who won today, so can I close the post?! Congratulations on becoming an adult!"
(At this point, Kagetsu suddenly appears from the runway.)
Kagetsu: "Wait! Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait!"
Tamu: "I'm just about to close it..."
Kagetsu: "Wait, wait! This is the fifth time today! How are you guys in Osaka?! One more! How are you?! Hey, don't just wrap it up without asking. Where do you think we are? Kagetsu-sama's home is Osaka, you know?! Right?! Well, I didn't think I had any more opportunities to make announcements, so for the next Stardom Osaka event, I will be the last Stardom wrestler. So, can I say now what card I would like to do?! As you all expected, I would like to be paired with Iwatani at the end! We've been opposite each other so many times, so I would like us to stand next to each other at least at the end. Well, the only answers I can get are yes or yes, so let's leave that aside. My desired opponents are Watanabe Momo! Jungle Kyona! Are you there?"
(Momo, who had once left the ring, enters the ring from the runway)
Kagetsu: "Where's Jungle Kyona? She's not here? Hey! Kyona!"
(Shojo appears later with a puzzled look on her face)
Kagetsu: "Oh, there they are. January 26th will be Kagetsu's last match with Stardom, Iwatani & Kagetsu vs Watanabe Momo & Jungle Kyona. I would like to have this match. As for why... it's going to be a long story, so please read my blog (laughs). But as I've been saying ever since I joined Stardom, I have always wanted Watanabe Momo, Jungle Kyona, and, although she's not here now, Hazuki! These three to lead our next generation. That hasn't changed. So, my final wish is to have a match against you two. What do you think?"
Momo: "It's not about me... what do you think, audience?! (The audience cheers loudly) It's a pretty good reaction. Well, that's how it is, so we have no choice but to do it!"
Kagetsu: So... (to Iwatani) do you have anything to say? (laughs)
Iwatani: "The answer is yes!"
Kagetsu: "So, January 26th will be my last day, but I'll be teaming up with Iwatani, Watanabe Momo & Jungle Kyona, and we'd like to fully convey Kagetsu-sama's feelings to Osaka, so please come! Thank you very much!"
(The flower moon leaves)
Iwatani: "See you later! ...So, Tamu-chan won today, so Tamu-chan, please close the speech!"
Tamu "That was long! OK! Everyone please stand up! Happy 2020! This is our first time in Osaka, so we hope that Stardom will continue to be the same in 2020. We may cause you a lot of worry, but please continue to love Stardom as always! We also love you all with all our hearts! So, do you remember the password? Your right hand makes a C! Your left hand makes a reverse C! When we say, 'Believe in the present and shine for tomorrow!' it's 'We are Stardom!' Are you ready?! Is that okay?! Is this okay?! Is this okay?! Let's go! Believe in the present and shine for tomorrow! We are Stardom! Happy New Year! Thank you for your continued support this year!"

<Post-match comments>
STARS
Tamu: "Happy 2020! STARS finally won! I didn't know until Hoshiki told me, but have we been losing to QQ this whole time?"
Hoshiki: "Yeah, I lost."
Tamu: "Oh! Did Mayu lose?"
(Tamu's voice was high and cracked throughout the song, causing Iwatani and Riho to burst out laughing.)
Iwatani: "Looks like you lost. What happened to your voice? (laughs)"
Tamu: "Wait a minute... I've left my voice behind from last year!"
Iwatani: "What do you mean? (laughs)"
Hoshiki: "What do you mean? (laughs)"
Tamu: "When I went to Disney with Mayu, she really loves screaming... Ah, I'm starting to get a little boastful here (laughs) I see. But I think it got us into a good rhythm for Korakuen!"
Hoshiki: "It's all thanks to Tamu-chan."
Tamu: "It's all thanks to me!"
Hoshiki: "That's right."
Iwatani: "Today, I'm fighting Momo... and I'm going to win at Korakuen!!"
Tamu: "Please be sure to follow the rules."
Iwatani: "I will protect you."
Hoshiki: "I'll do my best too."
Tamu: "Good luck!"
Hoshiki: "I'll do my best. This (white belt) is important."
Q: Iwatani and Kagetsu have expressed a desire to team up in the final Stardom match. What do you think about that?
Iwatani: "I had been thinking about it for a while. I thought that in the very end, I was the person who should be next to her, so I was simply happy. We've never teamed up before, so it's just a possibility, and although I'm sad that it will end on that day, I want to enjoy this one-off tag team."
Tamu: "Let's do our best in 2020!"
Everyone: "Oh!"
