At the age of 16, she made her debut with Marvelous under the ring name Hoshizuki Mei. He made his natural speed and made his mark, and in 2020 he won the 2020 Jajah Tournament with Sendai Girls and won the Sendai Girls World Junior Championship. On December 20th of the same year, he challenged AZM's high-speed title, but was defeated. He suddenly left Marvelous in August 2021. On April 23, 2023, he returned at Stardom's Yokohama Arena tournament and changed his ring name to Hoshirai. On October 9th of the same year, he defeated Kashima Saki at the Dolphins Arena tournament, achieving his long-awaited first high-speed crown.
