On Tuesday, March 17th, STARDOM wrestlers Maika, Starlight Kid, Seira Mei, and Hazuki visited the Mexican Embassy in Tokyo and spoke to the cultural affairs officers
Maika, who just finished her trip to Mexico in early March, expressed her love for Mexico, saying, "The audiences in Mexico were so enthusiastic everywhere I went, and it was so much fun! I also enjoyed sightseeing in Puepla, so I can't wait to go back to Mexico!"
Regarding his match in Mexico, Kid commented with a smile, "The crowd was so enthusiastic right from my entrance, which really boosted my spirits."
Seira said, "The match was fun, but what I really enjoyed was drinking tequila with all the other players afterward," and it seems she has fallen in love with Mexico
Hazuki said, "When I went to Mexico, it was close to the Day of the Dead (a festival period), and I enjoyed wearing Day of the Dead-themed face makeup for the match," suggesting that she had a unique and memorable experience in Mexico
Tabata and India Siuks, who also visited the embassy, said, "We are happy to be able to compete in Japan, and we are grateful to the fans who always welcome us," and they seemed sad to be returning to Mexico
The cultural attaché at the Mexican Embassy gave us the wonderful feedback that "It's fantastic that luchadoras (female professional wrestlers) from Japan and Mexico are traveling back and forth between our countries to compete in matches. We would be delighted to welcome you all to visit again in the future."
The event concluded with a big hug and kiss from everyone to Consul Ivan of the Mexican Embassy!
There's no doubt that the STARDOM wrestlers will continue to play an active role in bridging Mexico and Japan!
