Regarding the injury sustained by wrestler Saya Kamitani at the Osaka tournament on February 7th (Saturday), a thorough examination was conducted.
As a result, the doctor determined that surgery is necessary to minimize the risk of long-term complications.
Following careful discussions with Ms. Kamitani and those involved, we have decided to proceed with surgery, and she will be absent from matches for approximately one month.
We sincerely apologize for the great concern and inconvenience caused to everyone who was looking forward to her matches from the Korakuen Hall tournament on February 13th (Friday) onwards.
Regarding the already scheduled events, we will consider her participation to the extent possible, prioritizing the doctor's judgment.
