The pairings for the spring festival "Cinderella Tournament 2026" (opening on March 6th at the Chunichi Hall in Aichi) have been announced, and Saori Anno and Fuwa-chan will face off in their first singles match
This tournament will be held over two days, March 6th and 7th, in Nagoya, with 16 first-round matches taking place. Fuwa-chan, making her debut in the tournament and scheduled to face Anno on the first day, grinned and said, "Honestly, I don't care if wearing a dress means my wishes will come true. The only thing I want is a Cinderella story of myself on the path to success, that's all."
He then added, "I think I'll make use of you, Saori Anno," and continued, "If I can beat Saori Anno, I think I can really make a name for myself as a professional wrestler. I can't wait to see that smug look on your face turn into, 'Oh no, this is bad, what should I do?'"
As usual, Anno listened to Fuwa-chan's comments with a cool expression, and then with a mischievous smile, said, "Fuwa-chan seems to be in good shape. She's even on the cover of Weekly Pro Wrestling and getting recognized. (Anno's career) is 11 years and (Fuwa-chan's) is 2 months, numbers don't lie. Freshness is a weapon, but you know, accumulated experience is also a weapon."
She then added with a grin, "And I'll be using that 'Fuuname' too."
Not to be outdone by her senior's aura, Fuwa-chan provoked her again, saying, "That's good. You have the energy of a senior colleague," to which Anno replied, "Go ahead and be the senior colleague." This is shaping up to be a match to watch
