Saya Iida, also known as "Macho Gori-san," has declared her intention to challenge for the STRONG Women's Championship (the current champion is Alex Windsor)
At the Korakuen Hall event on March 31st, Iida teamed with Momoko Kogo and Yuria Hime in a six-person tag team match against God's Eye, consisting of Ami Sorei, Hinami, and Lady C. Iida was full of energy on this day as well, sending Hinami flying with a powerful shoulder tackle, followed by heavy elbows and sharp chops
After withstanding Hinami's fierce attack, Iida's Rocket landed perfectly. Finally, she secured a magnificent 3-count victory over Hinami with a vertical drop brainbuster

After the match, Iida grabbed the microphone and began by saying, "Is Korakuen Hall exciting? I won at Korakuen Hall today, and there's something I wanted to tell you all." She then declared, "What is it? I've made up my mind. I can't afford to stomp my feet in frustration after losing in the White (Wonder Championship) match at Ryogoku (last December)! I'm going to challenge that guy, Windsor, for the Strong Women's Belt in America!"
Amidst loud chants of "Iida," he vowed, "I will definitely win and have my first title defense at Yokohama Arena!"

Shuri had reigned as a double champion, holding both the IWGP Women's Championship and this title, but she lost the title to Windsor at the UK event on March 8th local time
Will Iida's hopes of taking on the challenge at the Las Vegas, Nevada tournament on April 17th local time be fulfilled?
