Former World of Stardom champion Saya Kamitani responded to her rival Utami Hayashishita with a haughty attitude
At the June 6 Sendai event, HATE's Tora Natsuko, Konami, Ryuka, and Inaba Azusa clashed with Utami in an eight-person tag team match. Kamiya interfered during the match when the referee was absent, and together with Tora, they executed a combined move called the Magic Killer on Utami, with Ryuka ultimately securing the pinfall victory
Moreover, after the match, Kamiya demanded, "Bow down and beg for forgiveness. Bow down. If you do, Saya-sama, I'll fight you," and then attacked her
Then Utami said, "There are still a lot of things I haven't told Kamiya yet," and then challenged her to a match at the National Yoyogi Gymnasium No. 2 in Tokyo on June 20th. However, Kamiya left the ring without giving an answer at that time
Kamiya, who is currently on tour in the United States, responded to reporters and flatly refused a one-on-one match, saying, "A singles match is a hundred years too early for me." However, she added, "Well, she did beg me on her knees, so I might consider a tag team match."
Kamiya, who debuted in August 2019, joined Queen's Quest (now defunct), the unit to which Utami belonged, in February of the following year. The duo won the Goddesses of Stardom Championship twice. For Kamiya at the time, Utami was a reliable senior, as well as a formidable rival with whom she fought for the World Championship in April 2021 and the Wonder Championship in March 2022.
