The "trouble queen" has made a surprise appearance on the Stardom mat. On Saturday, June 20th, at "STARDOM THE CONVERSION 2026," AEW's Women's World Champion Thekla stormed the stage and attacked her rival, President Taro Okada
It was after the third match. President Okada was in his greeting to the attendees, saying, "Earlier, I was with the president of CMLL..." when he noticed Thekla behind him. And she was holding a hair clipper. President Okada managed to escape at the last moment, but Thekla confidently delivered a microphone appeal, saying, "Hey you perverts! Thekla's back!"
As President Okada looked on in stunned silence, the venue erupted in loud chants of "Tekla." Last April, she was fired from Stardom for failing to pay fines and repeatedly assaulting President Okada and staff members while competing there. Since then, she has moved her main battleground to the United States and currently holds the AEW Women's World Championship
Afterward, Thekla entered the ring and struck President Okada with the microphone, venting her anger by shouting, "You fired me!" She then tried to spit on the Stardom logo, but President Okada blocked it with his body. Thekla then grabbed the belt from her pants and swung it three times at President Okada
That's when Starlight Kid appeared. He delivered a dropkick to Thekla, then retaliated with a mounted punch. As he went for a moonsault, Thekla panicked and ran away
Kid declared, "This is our ring. Don't defile it any further! I will never forgive you for defiling Stardom and the Stardom logo, so go home! Go home!"
Kid will challenge Thekla for the belt at "AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026" in San Jose, California, on June 28th local time. Kid picked up the belt that Thekla had left behind in the ring and promised, "That's cool. Next time, I'll become champion and come back to Japan."
