Gina, also known as "Touch of Thunder," has bid farewell to the Stardom ring. At "STARDOM NIGHTER in KORAKUEN 2026 July" on Wednesday, July 8th (Korakuen Hall, Tokyo), she faced her close friend Wakana Tsukiyama, with whom she had worked in Club Venus and E neXus V (EXV), in a match billed as "Gina's Farewell Special Singles Match." This also marked Tsukiyama's return to the ring after being absent since the June 7th Utsunomiya event
Gina fell victim to the butt attack, but she skillfully caught it and retaliated with a chop to Tsukiyama's butt. She also knocked down referee Murayama with a chop, and in total, she delivered 53 chops to Tsukiyama's butt
After that, all the wrestlers except HATE entered the ring one after another, launching a train attack towards Gina in the corner. Gina responded with farewell chops to the wrestlers who were thrusting their chests out, especially to Saya Iida, Utami Hayashishita, Shuri, and Rina Yamashita
Immediately afterward, President Okada was forcibly brought into the ring. Resigned to his fate, President Okada took off his shirt, and Gina unleashed a series of chops that echoed throughout the arena. She landed a total of four chops, showing her gratitude
Gina went on the offensive throughout the match, but when she attempted a Sandallowstrike, her opponent cleverly reversed the position, and at 9 minutes and 12 seconds, she was pinned for a three-count with an Osui Suplex
Gina, originally from Australia, made her first appearance in Japan in April 2023 for the "Cinderella Tournament." After returning to Japan in January 2024, she became a key player in EXV, and in March of the same year, she won the Artist of Stardom Championship as part of a trio with Maika and Mina Shirakawa. She uses not only power but also speed as her weapons, and in May of this year, she challenged for the High Speed Championship (held by Yuna Mizumori)
After the match, Gina took the microphone and expressed her gratitude to the fans, players, and staff
"Japan has been my home for three years, so it's really sad that I have to leave now. But deep down, I know I'll definitely come back here. This is my life. I've made my place here. Stardom is my family. And I don't want to say I'm sad, because I'm much happier to have had such an amazing experience. So I'm trying to engrave every single fun memory I have with everyone here into my heart. I'm so glad I was able to have one last match with the EXV members. The only thing missing here is Shirakawa Mina. I have to thank Mina. I came here as a member of Mina's unit. Shirakawa Mina changed my life. And I'm so happy to have the EXV members and all the Stardom staff who support me behind the scenes. Thank you."
Finally, Maika, Hanako, and Rian, members of EXV, which disbanded in February, also entered the ring. They presented bouquets of flowers and sent off their close friends
