[5★STAR Press Conference] BLUE STARS-A on Bea Priestley's absence: "There are a lot of wrestlers that I'm not really feeling, so I feel a bit more relaxed."

A press conference for "Summy presents STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2026," a tournament to determine the strongest singles wrestler (opening on July 18th in Ota Ward), was held on July 12th (Sunday) at United Cinemas Toyosu in Tokyo, where the BLUE STARS-A entry wrestlers expressed their determination

Prior to the press conference, President Taro Okada announced that Bea Priestley, who is currently sidelined due to injury, will miss the 5★STAR game. He stated that a replacement player is currently being considered

Sakura Aya (2nd time in 2 years)

This year, I'll be taking part in the 5★STAR GP as the captain of Cosmic Angels. I'm usually pretty cute, right? But this summer, I'll put my cuteness aside and show you a cool Sakura! My first opponent is Hanako. As captain, I have a lot of responsibility on my shoulders. So I absolutely won't lose to you! As the leader of the unit, I'll win the championship and make Cosmic Angels number one! And this summer, I'll prove that Sakura Aya is worthy of being the center of Stardom! Today will be my last cute moment of the year, so please capture some cute Sakura on your cameras before you go home

Hinami (2nd time in 2 years)

I'll be taking this seriously. I'm Hinami from God's Eye. To be honest, when I first saw this block, I thought it wasn't an easy block, but it wasn't a particularly fiercely contested block either. For me, who hasn't achieved any results in singles this year, I thought this was a huge opportunity. However, there is one person in this block: the Red Champion, Suzu Suzuki. This is the second year in a row that Suzu Suzuki is in the same block as me, and the second year in a row that she's my first opponent. I lost to her last time. I'm really happy to be able to compete against Suzu Suzuki, the Red Champion, this time, and it's rare to have the opportunity to compete against the Red Champion, so I think it will be a great experience. But I don't want it to just end as a good experience; I want to win and get off to a good start this summer and summer vacation

Mitsuyoshi Amasaki (3rd time in 3 consecutive years)
2026 is the Year of the Horse, so this year is my year, and in the first half of the year I got to wear the Goddess ring, which I've wanted for a very long time. In the second half of the year, I want to bloom at the top of this 5★STAR ring and show everyone that you can do this much even as a single!

Suzu Suzuki (5th consecutive year, 5th appearance)

I'm the 22nd World of Stardom Champion, the Energetic Champion, Suzu Suzuki! This Energetic Champion is thinking of winning 5★STAR this summer, staying energetic, and becoming the Energetic Champion, and getting Stardom, no, the whole pro wrestling world, energized. In this block, to be honest, I was looking forward to Bea Priestley the most. But she's out, so there are a lot of other wrestlers... I'm not really impressed with any of them, so I think I have a bit of an advantage. And Hinami, you were rambling on earlier, but aren't you a little too serious? Aren't you lacking in enthusiasm? All of you lack enthusiasm. So, the Energetic Champion will win

HANAKO (2nd time in 2 years)

Last year, I beat the eventual champion, Momoko Watanabe, in my hometown and drew with the Red Champion, but I didn't make it to the final tournament, which was a really disappointing result. But since then, I've gained experience by beating Hinami for the Future title, going overseas, and so on, and I'm confident that I've grown. This year, I'm going to win. With the growth that Maika and I have gained in this 5★STAR, I want to go after the Goddess belts that the 02 line holds again. My first opponent is Sakura Aya, who apparently has become the captain of Cozuen somehow. A captain in name only, who is completely dependent on her seniors? I've never lost to her in a singles match, so I don't have time to play around with her like that. I want to win quickly and move on to the next match

Rian (2nd time in 2 years)

(Attending after participating in Pro Wrestling WAVE's Korakuen Hall event) I had a match at Korakuen Hall today and came straight here, so I'm a little tired. This will be my second time participating in 5★STAR, and of course I'm aiming to win. But the most important thing for me in 5★STAR is to "make money" and "become popular." So, my goal is to win 5★STAR and become even more popular. If I win 5★STAR, I would like to get lots of work, and I would like my picture to be on posters, anything at all

Ruika (for the fourth time in three consecutive years)
worked hard in tag team matches from last year until April, so from July onwards, she will work hard in singles matches. She will put all her energy into it.
