The first set of matches for "Sammy presents STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2026 ~Finals Match~," to be held on Sunday, August 23rd at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, has been announced. In a special singles match, Natsupoi will clash with Saori Anno
At a press conference held on July 23rd, "Natsumi Day," Natsupoi made a surprise announcement that she would be ending her active career after the Yokohama Budokan event on January 3rd next year. Her retirement tour began at the Korakuen Hall event on July 28th
In that match, her tag team partner and close friend, Saori Anno, demanded, "Let's have the greatest battle of the century together," to which Natsupoi replied, "If we're going to do it, it won't be just to make memories or anything like that. I want a serious, all-out battle."
The two debuted at the Actwres girl'Z Shin-Kiba event on May 31, 2015, making them contemporaries. Last May 31, they held a 10th-anniversary event (at Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo) which they fully produced themselves
This will be the first one-on-one match between the two since their 10th anniversary show, which ended in a five-minute time limit draw. The final singles match between these close friends will take place at Ryogoku, the venue for the championship match of the ongoing midsummer league tournament, "5★STAR GP 2026"
