[5★STAR] The second half of the season has finally begun! Which teams have the best chance of advancing to the final tournament?

The midsummer league tournament, "Sammy presents STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2026," has completed 9 out of 16 events. Starting with the Sapporo event on August 8th (Saturday), the second half of the tournament is underway, and the competition for the top 3 points from each block to advance to the final tournament (August 18th at Korakuen Hall, August 23rd at Ryogoku Kokugikan) is intensifying. The situation in each block is as follows

[Red Stars A]Looking solely at the points scored, Itsuki Aoki is in first place with 8 points, followed by AZM and Maika with 6 points each. However, there is a difference in the number of official matches played in this block. Aoki and Sayaka Kurei have already played 6 matches and have one match remaining, while AZM, Rina, and Akira Tetsu have 3 matches left.

Therefore, the situation could change significantly in the two consecutive matches in Sapporo on August 8th and 9th. While Kurei, who has suffered four losses, has been eliminated from advancing on her own, there is still a slight possibility of her finishing in third place depending on the results of other players. First and foremost, winning her final official match against Tora Natsuko (August 9th, Sapporo) is the absolute requirement for her to advance

In the same block, AZM, Aoki, Maika, and Rina are the four players who can advance on their own merit. Statistically, all players still have a chance to advance

[Red Stars B]This summer, the sharp-playing Saya Iida is in sole possession of first place with 8 points from a 4-1 record. If she can add 2 more points in the remaining 2 matches, she will secure her place in the next round. In addition, Rina Yamashita and Konami with 6 points, and Maki Ito with 5 points also have a chance to advance on their own merits.

Lady C, having suffered four losses, is in a very difficult situation, but statistically, she still has a chance to finish in third place. However, victories against Utami Hayashishita (August 8th, Sapporo) and Mei Seira (August 14th, Kobe) are essential. In addition, all other wrestlers, including Seira and Azusa Inaba, still have a chance to advance from their block

[Blue Stars A]World champion Suzu Suzuki, with an undefeated 4-0 record, takes sole possession of first place with 8 points, followed by Ryuka and Julia Hart (AEW) with 6 points each. Besides Suzuki, HANAKO, Ryuka, and Hart are the only four who have a chance to advance on their own. Rian, who has suffered 5 consecutive losses without a win, will only have 4 points even if she wins her remaining two matches, making her the only one in the block whose path to advancement is closed. Expectations are high that she can make an impact in her matches against HANAKO (August 14th, Kobe) and Sakura Aya (August 15th, Kyoto).

[Blue Stars B]Last year's champion, Momo Watanabe, is in first place with 7 points, followed by Wonder Champion Hanan and Saya Kamitani with 6 points, and Starlight Kid with 5 points. Five wrestlers, including Ami Sorei, still have a chance to advance on their own merit. However, Watanabe, Kamitani, and Kid have all competed in three consecutive official matches starting with the Sendai tournament on August 1st, and Watanabe and Kamitani had a fierce 15-minute time-limit draw at the Korakuen Hall tournament on August 3rd. Kid suffered significant damage in her match against Yuna Mizumori at the same tournament, so it remains to be seen what impact this will have on the future of these three wrestlers.

[Overall Summary]Based on the current standings and all win-loss patterns, Aoki, Maika, Iida, Suzuki, Watanabe, and Hanan are the players with the highest probability of finishing in the top three.

While there is a mathematical possibility that Kurei and Lady could be together, the probability is less than 0.1%

Only Rian and Furusawa have already been eliminated. Coincidentally, both are members of the Ito Respect Group, so expectations are even higher for Ito, who remains in the competition

Going forward, the players' physical condition will undoubtedly have an impact on their performance, and the official tournament schedule will also be an important factor in predicting who will win the championship
