Additional matches have been announced for "STARDOM Path of Thunder 2026," which will be held on Sunday, October 18th at Light Cube Utsunomiya in Tochigi. Single matches will be held between Utami Hayashishita and Rina, and between Shuri and Matoi Hamabe. In addition, Yuria Hime will make her return in her hometown of Utsunomiya
At the 10/11 Korakuen Hall event, Utami Hayashishita & Matoi Hamabe faced Konami, Ruanka & Rina in a handicap match, with Rina defeating Utami. After the match, Rina, the winner of the "5★STAR GP 2026," criticized Utami's current situation since joining STARS after her return to Stardom, and declared that she would use Utami as a stepping stone before moving on to her next goal. She demanded a one-on-one match at the Utsunomiya event, her hometown, and this singles match was decided
At the 10/10 Chiba tournament, Matoi Hamabe faced Saya Iida in a homecoming match. After her defeat, Hamabe realized her own shortcomings but vowed to win the Jajyuma Tournament. To encourage further growth in Hamabe's pursuit of victory, Iida personally requested a singles match against the "final boss," Shuri. Shuri appeared and proposed a match at the Utsunomiya tournament, urging Hamabe to give it her all. Hamabe, with the semi-finals looming, will take on Shuri in this match
Furthermore, Hime Yuria appeared in the ring before the matches at the 10/11 Korakuen Hall event and announced her return at the Utsunomiya event. Hime, who had been absent since the 4/11 Korakuen Hall event to receive treatment for an injury, will be making a comeback in her hometown ring after about six months
