STARDOM AWARD 2025 Awards Ceremony Report!

The "STARDOM AWARD 2025" was held on the 25th at Belle Salle Takadanobaba in Tokyo, and the winners were announced. At the awards ceremony, each wrestler appeared on stage in their finest attire, adding to the glamour of the venue.
Just like in the ring, HATE swept all the awards this time. However, as the awards were presented one after another—SHINING Award (Saya Kamitani), Best Tag Team Award (Natsuko Tora & Ruanka), Best Unit Award (HATE), Best Bout (Kamitani vs. Tam Nakano), and MVP (Kamitani)—all the HATE members were absent. Instead of MVP Kamitani, Saya Iida, who received the Distinguished Service Award, gave a speech on behalf of the award winners.
Iida joked, "I will give a speech on behalf of all of you. I am Saya Iida," but immediately afterwards, Kamitani and the other HATE members stormed the stage and attacked Iida.

Tora, holding the microphone, declared, "Even if you dress up nicely and act cute like you guys, the company has no choice but to acknowledge HATE's success. I think you've seen today that they are the central force in Stardom right now. That won't change this year either. You won't be getting any trophies next year either!" and then left the stage.
After HATE left, Iida, with an angry expression, declared firmly, "This year it's not just STARS, let's all work together to defeat HATE! Right now HATE is the strongest, but let's take the belts away from them as the center of Stardom and build the future of Stardom ourselves!"
She was met with loud applause.

[Technical Award]
IWGP Women's Champion Shuri was awarded the prize. She won the title for the first time at the Yokohama Arena in April by defeating Mayu Iwatani. Although she lost the belt to Sareee once, she regained it at the New Japan Pro-Wrestling Ryogoku tournament in October.
Shuri said with a nervous expression, "I've received the Technical Award for the first time. I didn't think my name would be called so I'm incredibly happy and nervous..." She continued, "A lot happened in 2025, and I kept wanting to win the IWGP title and I was able to win it, but then I lost it. But I was able to get it back, and in 2026 I will show everyone a different kind of fight as the IWGP and STRONG double champion, so please support me."

[Fighting Spirit Award] Starlight
Kid was selected for her six successful defenses as Wonder of Stardom Champion. At the Ryogoku tournament at the end of 2024, she defeated her rival Natsupoi to win the coveted title for the first time. She has defeated strong opponents such as Konami, AZM, and Anno Saori, raising the value of the white belt.
"In 2025 I celebrated my 10th anniversary in my career, and I've been charging ahead as White Tiger, but unfortunately I lost the belt," said White Tiger. "But I'm not stopping here yet, and I have a challenge for the red belt scheduled for February 7th, 2026. I'm aiming for a Grand Slam, and I'm going to keep charging ahead!" she vowed.

[Outstanding Performance Award] Saya Iida
The Outstanding Performance Award was presented to Saya Iida. In the first half of 2025, she was active as the Goddess of Stardom Champion alongside Hanan. In her fourth appearance in the "5★STAR GP" for the second consecutive year, she did not advance to the final tournament, but her passionate fighting style caused her popularity among fans to skyrocket. Furthermore, she took the lead for STARS in place of the injured Hanan, and at the Ryogoku tournament in December, she challenged for the Wonder Championship. Although she narrowly missed out on the belt, the venue was filled with loud "Iida" chants.
When Iida's award was announced, there was a murmur of surprise and loud applause. Iida said, "I never thought I would receive an award like this, so I'm surprised. I'm happy that my efforts fighting in the ring as a professional wrestler have taken shape." She added, "I'm not satisfied with this, so I will definitely shine in the Stardom ring as a singles champion. Everyone, please look forward to seeing me in action, along with these muscles...!"

[Special Achievement Award] Tam
Nakano was awarded a Special Achievement Award for ending her active career of approximately 8 years and 9 months. At the Korakuen Hall event in March, she lost to Saya Kamitani in a "loser leaves the company match" and left Stardom. At the Yokohama Arena event on April 27th, she also lost to Kamitani in a "complete defeat loser retires special rule" match, which became her retirement match.
Nakano was absent from the award ceremony.

[Topic Award] Fuwa-chan
Fuwa-chan, who made her comeback at the Ryogoku Kokugikan tournament on December 29th last year, received the Topic Award. In October 2022 and April 2023, she challenged herself to professional wrestling as part of a TV program. After taking a break from her entertainment activities, she announced her transition to professional wrestling and joined Stardom, which caused a great sensation.
Holding the trophy in her hand, Fuwa-chan showed off her splits and humbly said, "I'm still only halfway there, but I want to continue to aim for greater heights..." However, since it was an unexpected award, she said, "I didn't think I would get it, so I was really surprised."
Nevertheless, she changed her mindset and promised, "I tend to get carried away easily, so I'll keep my feet on the ground and work hard every day practicing under my mentor, Hazuki-san, so that I can grow quickly."

[Best Tag Team Award] Natsuko Tora & Ryuka
Tora, who belong to HATE, won the Best Tag Team Award as "BMI2000". They won the Goddesses of Stardom Championship in July and made their presence felt in the tag team scene.

[Best Unit Award] HATE,
who dominate the Stardom mat, is the undisputed winner of the Best Unit Award. Not only do they hold the major championships such as the World Championship (Saya Kamitani), Wonder Championship (Konami), Goddess Championship (Natsuko Tora & Ryuka), and Artist Championship (Konami & Rina & Fukigen Desu★), but Momo Watanabe also conquered the "5★STAR GP". They swept all the titles.

[Best Bout Award] Saya Kamitani vs. Tam Nakano (April 27, Yokohama Arena)
The Best Bout Award went to the April 27 Yokohama showdown between Saya Kamitani and Tam Nakano, with the World Championship and retirement on the line. The match, in which both wrestlers put their pride and determination on the line, was a fierce battle in which they used every move they had. In the end, at 26 minutes and 9 seconds, Kamitani delivered the finishing blow to Nakano with her Twilight Dream, breaking the rules. After the match, the sight of them helping each other out down the silent ramp was particularly memorable.

[MVP] Saya
Kamitani, who led the professional wrestling world in 2025 with her outstanding performance, has been awarded the MVP. In the previously announced "Pro Wrestling Awards" established by Tokyo Sports Newspaper, she became the first female wrestler in history to win the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. At the same time, she also won the Women's Pro Wrestling Award. With this, Kamitani has achieved a "triple crown" of awards related to professional wrestling.
