STARS' Iwatani Mayu, Hazuki, and Koguma will face Neo Genesis' Hoshiki Mei, AZM, and Amasaki Mitsuyoshi in a six-person tag team match. This will be Iwatani and AZM's final warm-up match before their IWGP Women's Championship match at New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Tokyo Dome on January 4th. It will also be the belt debut match for Hazuki and Koguma, who won the OZ Certified Tag Team Championship at the OZ Academy Korakuen Hall on December 30th.
Koguma volunteered to start and called for "people who want to be bears," and Amasaki came out and did the bear pose with them. Koguma and Amasaki high-fived. Both exchanged elbows after shaking hands and saying, "Please do bears again this year," before breaking and working the ropes. STARS teamed up to attack Amasaki, landing a triple dropkick. Iwatani and Hazuki followed with a foot stamp on Amasaki. Hazuki then drove Amasaki into the ropes and washed her face. Amazaki returns with a series of elbows, and Hazuki hits a big boot. Amazaki hits a DDT on Hazuki. AZM hits a dropkick on Hazuki. Both teams attempt brainbusters. AZM and Seirai pincer attack with dropkicks. AZM applies an armpit hold on Hazuki. With Iwatani's assistance, Hazuki hits a dropkick. Iwatani hits a thrust knee on AZM. AZM and Iwatani grab each other by the hair and taunt each other. After exchanging elbows, AZM applies a Numero Uno and an armlock. AZM declares the finish, but Iwatani counters with a high kick, and they collide. AZM hits a high kick, but Iwatani hits a thrust kick, leaving both women down. Seirai hits Iwatani with a neckbreaker. A modified camel clutch, then a modified dragon sleeper. With Hazuki's assistance, Iwatani dropkicks Seirai. STARS attempts a combined face crusher on Seirai, but Amasaki and AZM cut her off with a dropkick. Iwatani is driven into the corner and Neo Gene attacks with a thrust. Seirai hits a dropkick on Iwatani. An attempt at a checkmate is countered by Iwatani with a German suplex and a thrust kick. STARS hits a combined face crusher on Seirai, but AZM cuts it off. 10 minutes have passed. STARS attempts a rocket, but Seirai blocks it with a dropkick. In the end, Iwatani rolls up Seirai with Azumi Sushi to win the battle.
