STARS' Mayu Iwatani, Hazuki, and Koguma will clash with Neo Genesis' Mei Seira, AZM, and Mitsuyoshi Amasaki in a six-person tag team match. This will be Iwatani and AZM's final preliminary match before the IWGP Women's Championship match at New Japan Pro-Wrestling's January 4th Tokyo Dome show. It will also be the match where Hazuki and Koguma, who won the OZ Academy Tag Team Championship at the December 30th Korakuen Hall show, will unveil their belts.
Koguma volunteers to start the match and asks for "anyone who wants to do a bear pose," and Amasaki comes out and does a bear pose with him. Koguma and Amasaki high-five. AZM and Seira hit each other with dropkicks. AZM puts Hazuki in an armlock. With Iwatani's assistance, Hazuki lands a dropkick. Iwatani hits AZM with a running knee. AZM and Iwatani grab each other's hair and taunt each other. After an exchange of elbows, AZM hits a Numerouno and an armlock. AZM declares he's going for the finish, but Iwatani counters and high kicks are exchanged. AZM's high kick connects, but Iwatani hits a thrust kick and both are down. Seira hits Iwatani with a neckbreaker. Modified camel clutch, modified dragon sleeper. With Hazuki's assistance, Iwatani hits Seira with a dropkick. STARS attempted a combined face crusher on Seira, but Tensaki and AZM interrupted with dropkicks. They cornered Iwatani, and NeoGen delivered a running attack. Seira hit Iwatani with a dropkick. Iwatani countered their attempt at Checkmate with a German suplex and a thrust kick. STARS landed a combined face crusher on Seira, but AZM interrupted. 10 minutes had passed. STARS attempted a rocket, but Seira blocked it with a dropkick. In the end, Iwatani won the pinfall battle by rolling up Seira with an Azumi Sushi.
