This is an eight-woman tag team match between STARS' Mayu Iwatani, Hazuki, Koguma, and Momo Kogo and Neo Genesis' AZM, Seira Mei, Suzu Suzuki, and Mitsuyoshi Amasaki. This is a preliminary match for Iwatani and AZM, who will face each other for the IWGP Women's Championship at New Japan's January 4th Tokyo Dome show. Also, Seira and Kogo, who competed for the High Speed Championship at Korakuen Hall on December 24th, will face each other again. For Kogo, who lost but gained valuable experience, this match should be a stepping stone to aiming for the High Speed Championship again.
AZM volunteers to start the match and confronts Iwatani. The match begins with rope work, Iwatani dodges a kick, and the two glare at each other after a headspring. Koguma stops Amasaki and strikes a bear pose as the "final bear pose of the year." Amasaki also strikes a bear pose, creating a bear pose competition. They exchange high-fives, and Amasaki attacks Koguma as if to shake hands. However, STARS interfered and they performed a series of dropkicks. Iwatani delivered a dropkick to Tensaki. Hazuki delivered a series of body slams to Tensaki. When Tensaki countered, Hazuki applied a camel clutch. Koguma then delivered a dropkick from the side. Tensaki hit both of them with a DDT. Seira went for Hazuki but Koguma cut her off. Hazuki and Koguma dodged Seira and Suzuki but both were hit with thrust kicks. Seira and Suzuki also performed a missile kick in a series of matches. When AZM climbed onto the corner, Iwatani cut her off and Hazuki and Koguma delivered a deadly drive. AZM got up but was hit with a body attack from Koguma. He was hit with Hazuki's Codebreaker and Kogo's missile kick. AZM dodged the 619, but Kogo tried again and succeeded. AZM retaliated, and Kogo and Iwatani teamed up. Iwatani delivered a thrust kick, followed by a body attack from Kogo. Kogo went for the Nectar Peach on AZM. AZM resisted and delivered a brainbuster. Kogo countered, and AZM applied an armlock. However, Koguma and Hazuki broke it up. STARS attempted a combined face crusher, but Neo Gene blocked it. AZM hit Kogo with a corner elbow, and Neo Gene delivered a series of corner attacks, followed by dropkicks from four directions. AZM attempted a diving foot stomp on Kogo, but Iwatani made the save. Iwatani and AZM exchanged moves. AZM slammed Iwatani with a Canadian Destroyer, but Kogo broke it up. Kogo dodged AZM's kick and delivered a Magistral. AZM tried to overpower his opponent, leading to a series of pinfall attempts. AZM then pinned his opponent with an Azumi Sushi pin, resulting in a three-count.
