Worldwide Tag Match

An international tag team match between Mina Shirakawa & Tai Melo and Athena & Thekla. Both Melo and Athena are making their Stardom debut. What will former WWE superstars Melo and Athena show us in Stardom? All eyes will be on Shirakawa, who has been actively working overseas last year, to see how she performs. Also, what will Thekla do after losing the Goddesses of Stardom Championship?
Shirakawa and Athena face off first. Athena uses an arm whip, and Shirakawa retaliates with dropkicks. When Athena grabs Shirakawa's arm, Shirakawa applies a leg lock and elicits "we want mina" chants before attempting a hanging pin. Athena attempts a roll-up, but Shirakawa retaliates, and they exchange roll-ups. Melo and Thekla face off. After an exchange of roll-ups, Melo attempts an armbar on the ground. Thekla escapes, and Melo kicks her arm, but Thekla kicks Melo out of the ring, and the fight spills outside. Melo delivers a series of elbows to Thekla outside the ring. Thekla slams Melo into the ring post. Thekla brings Melo back into the ring and goes for the cover. When Melo kicks out, Thekla corners him and attacks. Athena kicks Melo in the back and then delivers an elbow smash. When Melo kicks out, Athena applies a face lock. Athena gets into a gory bomb position and slams Thekla onto Melo. Thekla scratches Melo's face. Melo slams Athena with a modified DDT. Shirakawa hits Thekla with a corner elbow and a neckbreaker. She hits Athena with a swinging DDT and Thekla with a corner neckbreaker. Shirakawa climbs to the corner but Thekla slaps her from below, delivers a superplex and a diving foot stomp. However, Melo manages to break it up. Athena hits Melo with a lariat. She hits Shirakawa with a corner elbow, and Melo slams Athena onto the mat. Shirakawa hits a rolling elbow, and Thekla hits a spear. Melo and Athena exchange elbows, Melo hits a thrust kick, Athena lifts him up, and Shirakawa also
hits a backflip. Athena tries to land a move but it's broken up. Thekla and Athena get into an argument. Shirakawa hits a back elbow, Melo hits a knee attack, and Melo hits a Gotch-style piledriver. Athena kicks out. Melo lifts her up. Athena escapes and wins by pinfall with an Eclipse.
