God's Eye's Akari, Kashima Saki, Inaba Tomoka, and Koryu Seika will face off against Neo Genesis's Starlight Kid, Seirai Mei, Suzuki Suzu, and Amasaki Mitsuyoshi in an eight-person tag team match. This will be a preliminary match between Seirai and Kashima, who will compete for the High-Speed Championship at Korakuen Hall on January 13th. Kashima decided to challenge Seirai without appealing to her. New rules will also be in place for this title match. What kind of tactics will unfold leading up to the big day? Kashima will start and face off against Seirai. Kashima attempts a desperate roll-up, but is cut off. Seirai goes for a dropkick, but Kashima quickly counters. Both women try to get up with a headspring, but Kashima misses. God's Eye's second praises Kashima, saying, "You're doing it." Amazaki and Koryu lock up. Amazaki pins Koryu to the ropes, and Suzuki hits a dropkick from under the ring. Suzuki hits Koryu with a hair whip and a series of thrust attacks. Kid drives Koryu into his corner and showers him with chops, saying, "Nice to meet you!" Koryu hits a knee and a middle kick. Kid catches the kick and stomps away, saying, "Don't mess with me!" Koryu hits a high kick and hands it to Tomoka. Tomoka and Akari hit Kid and Suzuki with thrust attacks and a soccer ball kick combo. Tomoka lifts Kid and hits him with a knee and applies a standing heel hold. Kid counters with a knee crusher, a standing moonsault, and a stretch muffler. Tomoka tries to get a heel hold, but Amazaki breaks it. Kid dropkicks Tomoka's knee and hits a body attack. Seirai hits Tomoka with a lariat and a neckbreaker. Tomoka hits a middle kick. Kashima hits Seirai with a thrust knee attack, a series of middle kicks, and a thrust kick. Neo Gene attacks Seirai one after the other. Ayuri separates them, and Kashima takes a double arm stance on Seirai. Seirai counters with a thrust kick, and Kashima holds on with a high-angle dropkick. When Kashima returns, Seirai goes for a checkmate. Ayuri cuts her off with a high kick, and Kashima hits a diving foot stamp, a double arm facebuster, and then a knee to the face from a double arm facebuster position. This gets the three count, and Kashima pins Seirai down. After the match, Kashima holds out her hand to Seirai. Seirai declines the handshake.
