This tournament will determine the challengers for the Artist of Stardom Championship, which will be held at Korakuen Hall on January 13th. The winning team from the second day in Nagoya the following day will challenge Tam Nakano, Saori Anno, and Natsupoi at Korakuen Hall. One of the first-round matches will be between STARS' Hazuki, Saya Iida, and Momo Kogo and Cosmic Angels' Yuna Mizumori, Aya Sakura, and Sayaka Kurei.
Hazuki and Sakura start the match. As soon as the bell rings, Sakura charges forward, delivering a series of dropkicks followed by a series of elbows. Hazuki stands up to take the hits, and counters Sakura's attempted body slam, slamming her down instead. Hazuki delivers a series of body slams and a senton. Kogo hits Sakura with a corner dropkick followed by another dropkick. Iida hits Sakura with a reverse chop. Kogo follows with a reverse chop as well. Hazuki also delivers chops to Sakura. Hazuki then delivers a hair whip followed by a face wash. STARS pins Sakura back in their corner, and Iida delivers a chop to Sakura. Iida takes Sakura's blows and gets back up. As Sakura tries to get back up, Iida sends her flying with one blow. Sakura hits Iida with a middle kick as she charges, then passes the ball to Kurei. Kurei delivers a dropkick to Iida. Iida and Kogo attempt to team up, but Kurei throws Kogo out of the ring and delivers a dropkick and body slam to Iida. Iida retaliates, countering Kogo's attempt at a neckbreaker with an elbow and a chop. Kurei endures and returns an elbow of her own. Iida delivers a series of chops. Kurei dodges a lariat and delivers a dropkick and an elbow attack. Iida and Hazuki team up, with Iida delivering a lariat and Hazuki a PK. Kogo delivers a swan dive missile kick to Kurei. 619 is dodged by Kurei but she takes a diving body attack. Kogo applies a submission hold to Kurei. Kurei drops a dropkick on Kogo, and Sakura and Mizumori hit her from both sides with strikes. Kogo retaliates, and Hazuki cuts off Mizumori's charge, allowing Kogo to hit a 619. STARS hit Mizumori with a combined face crusher, but Sakura makes a successful cut. Kogo flies to the outside with a swan dive plancha. Sakura also does a plancha to the outside. Kogo is brought back in, and Mizumori slams him onto the mat and applies a reverse Boston crab. Kogo escapes, and Mizumori heads to the corner for a body slam followed by a diving body press. Hazuki cuts her off with a superplex, and Iida launches the Iida Rocket. Kogo helps Mizumori up and hits a neckbreaker, but Kozuen cuts it off. Iida hits Kurei and Sakura with lariats, and Kogo hits Mizumori with a Nectar Peach. However, Mizumori retaliates. Kogo attempts a 619 DDT on Mizumori. Mizumori counters and Supergirl gets a two count. Mizumori counters with a lariat. Kogo kicks out, and Mizumori declares she's going for the finish and hits a Hurricane Driver. Kogo tries to cover but gets a two count. Kyurei and Sakura separate STARS. Mizumori grabs Kogo and Sakura and Kyurei team up for a brainbuster. Then Mizumori hits a TP Sunshine. Kogo can't kick out, and Mizumori gets the pin.
Mizumori: "Sakura Ramon won against Tropi! Kogo Momo, I've gotten my revenge for last year. STARS were really strong. I want to face you more and more, in high-speed matches and regular matches. I'm going to win!"
Kogo: "(From ringside) I'm definitely not going to lose."
Mizumori: "Now that this artist championship is being held, we, as Kozuen, have to win no matter what. Kozuen has us, after all! Right?"
Kurei: "We'll win and challenge the top-tier trio."
Sakura: "We'll beat the top-tier trio and become the ultimate top-tier trio!"
Mizumori: "Say it again!" Sakura: "
