The Artist of Stardom Championship match between Nakano Tam, Natsupoi, and Anou Saori vs. Mizumori Yuna, Sakura Aya, and Kure Sayaka was a showdown between fellow Cosmic Angels wrestlers. Mizumori's team won a four-team tournament in Nagoya on January 11th and 12th. Mizumori's team aims to overthrow the top trio. It's their first title defense in a while, but will Nakano prove their superiority, or will Mizumori achieve a sudden overthrow? Will they strengthen their unity for the upcoming unit league, or will they split up? This fight could be a testament to their future.
Natsupoi and Mizumori started the match. They locked up, broke, and worked the ropes. Mizumori resisted an arm whip and threw her in the opposite direction. Natsupoi attempted a dropkick, but Mizumori quickly covered and rolled her up. Sakura and Kure intervened, and the trio delivered a dropkick. Mizumori body presses Natsupoi. Kuri hits a dropkick on Natsupoi. Nakano cuts off the second one, and Anna joins in for a trio of dropkicks. Natsupoi hits a dropkick to Kuri's back and a hair whip. Anna puts Kuri in a sickle hold, and Natsupoi hits a dropkick from the side. Sakura tries to cut in, but Anna eliminates her. Kuri counters with a dropkick on Anno. Mizumori hits a flying shoulder tackle. Mizumori hits shoulder tackles on Nakano and Natsupoi, knocking Anno away as well. They then hit a series of lariats and a guillotine drop on Anno. Mizumori and Anno hit multiple elbows. Anna grabs her hand and hits multiple big boots. Mizumori falls, but Anna still holds on to her hand. Mizumori stands up and hits multiple lariats from close range. Anna holds on, but Mizumori counters with a lariat. Sakura hits Anna with a thrust knee kick, followed by a drop kick and multiple middle kicks, and Anna hits a fisherman's. Natsupoi hits Sakura with a drop kick. Sakura counters a diving body attack with a kick. Natsupoi hits a side kick, but Sakura counters with a middle kick. A high kick is dodged, but she hits a spinning kick. Anna charges in with a thrust, but Natsupoi dodges it. Anna and Natsupoi hit drop kicks on Sakura and Mizumori. Mizumori and Sakura take the back, but counter, Mizumori with a lariat, and Sakura separates them with a middle kick. Kuri hits Nakano with a drop kick, multiple thrust drop kicks, Nakano hits a back drop, and a knee attack. Sakura takes the back and steps in to stop them. Anna cuts off. Kuri hits Nakano with multiple elbows. Kuri jumps on Nakano's charge and applies a sleeper hold. Anna and Natsupoi cut off, and 10 minutes pass. Sakura does a plancha to the outside of the ring. Kurara hits Nakano with a missile kick and a sleeper hold. Without letting her escape, she spins to the center. Nakano somehow manages to escape. Kurara gets pumped and hits Nakano with a Tokimeki Cutter. It looked like she'll land it, but Nakano counters with a Violet Shooter. Nakano prepares for a brainbuster. Mizumori hits a flying shoulder tackle, Sakura matches it with a Bing Knee Attack, and Kurara hits a Tokimeki Cutter. Nakano counters, Sakura tells Natsupoi to "stay out of the ring," and drops her. Mizumori captures Nakano, and Sakura and Kurara combine to combine. Nakano counters, forcing them to fight each other. However, Sakura and Kurara hit a dropkick. Mizumori prepares Nakano for a brainbuster, and Sakura and Kurara combine to hit it. 15 minutes have passed. Kurara goes for a Falcon Arrow. Nakano counters, however. Kurara takes aim and hits a Tokimeki Spear. Nakano dodges and hits a spin kick, a buzzsaw kick, and a violet shooter. It's cut off, but Nakano hits a German suplex. Kuri returns, and Nakano hands it over to Anou. Anou hits a tantrum and a fisherman on Kuri. Natsupoi steps in and hits a fairy real gift on Kuri, but it's cut off. Nakano goes for a violet screwdriver on Kuri. Kuri rolls her up and hits a Tokimeki Spear, but Nakano counters. Kuri immediately hits a jackknife. The Nakano team performs a German suplex together, then hits a heel drop, and Nakano hits Kuri with a long-hanging violet screwdriver for the three count.
Tamu: "Hello everyone in the universe and at Korakuen Hall! We've defended our title as the ultimate trio, Artist of Stardom! Ugly? You say? We were so strong, I was worried we might look ugly. Now you see, right? Our trio isn't the only one who's the best. Cosmic Angels right now is the best!"
Kuri: "Even if they say Cozuen is the best right now, I'd be incredibly disappointed if we lost! I absolutely have to surpass them to go from the best Cozuen to even the best. Please absolutely, absolutely, absolutely wait until the day we win."
Tamu: "We won't wait,"
the champions said, raising their fists with thumbs up. Mizumori and Sakura stood up in response, and Kuri joined them at the end, posing together as Cozuen.
Nakano: "Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please! Welcome aboard, Cosmic Angels! Let me introduce today's crew: Kuri, Sakura, Yunamon, Saori-chan, Natsupoi, and the cutest Nakano Tamu in the universe! We are super delicious, we are the best, we are number one! You and we are all delicious, yummm!"
さんも嬉しいですね」 English: Nakano: "Artist of Stardom, V2! The ultimate trio has defended! Thank you. Seriously, I've realized this once again. Cozuen is my pride and joy. They are truly important to me. This belt teaches me once again that just having your teammates by your side can make you feel so much stronger and more reassured. Thank you. (To Natsupoi) Are you laughing?"
Natsupoi: "I'm not laughing, I'm happy. I really felt it today too. My teammates were on the opposite side of me, and next to me. I felt so reassured in this space surrounded by my teammates. I had so much fun. I think I was laughing so hard, even though it hurt (laughs)."
Nakano: "Nacchan is always smiling. (Mizumori's team) were so strong. I was really surprised. All three of them were like completely different people from when they auditioned for Tropical 10 months ago. I broke my neck about three times."
Anna: "Are those three not there?
: He's not there, but I'll say it. I want the three of you to be more aware of that. How much of a threat you pose to the three of us. You three are a big presence for both Kozuen and Stardom." Nakano: "That's my hope. People say we're low-level or inferior, but Tamu, I don't think that at all. Did you know? Apparently people are calling us Toni-sen and Kami-sen on the streets."
Anna: "That's right."
Nakano: "That's why we're the V6 of the women's professional wrestling world."
Natsupoi: "Hehe." Anna: "Yeah
" Nakano:
"It's cool, kind of.
: "Who's Toni-sen and who's Kami-sen?"
Nakano: "Kami-sen? Toni-sen are us. Coming Century are the younger ones."
Anna: "It doesn't matter, even if we're split up. Kozuen is the six of us."
Nakano & Natsupoi: "Yeah."
All three: "(Laughs)"
Natsupoi: "Wow, Sakura's kick was heavy."
Nakano: "I'm sure Kozuen will win the unit tournament (league match) too!"
Natsupoi: "I feel like our bond has grown even stronger today."
Nakano: "Definitely. I want Kozuen to win all the belts!"
Anna: "I want to."
Natsupoi: "Bye-poi.
Nakano: "What's a bi-poi!?"
: Kurena: "It's frustrating!"
Sakura: "It's frustrating!"
Kurena: "I knew those three were strong, but I feel like I was made to realize it once again in the ring. But I absolutely have to surpass them, so I'm going to grow even more this year."
Mizumori: "I want to go higher. It's us, Sakura Ramon of Kozuen, who will definitely be the ones to beat those three and take the belt. Let's use this frustration as a springboard to get stronger together again from today."
