E neXus V, consisting of Maika and Shirakawa Mina, is joined by newcomer Hamabe Matoi to form a trio, and they will face the Cosmic Angels team of Natsupoi, Shirakawa Mina, and Kurei Sayaka in a six-person tag team match. Like the second match that follows, Nakano Tam, Anno Saori, and Sakura Aya vs. Tsukiyama Waka, HANAKO, and Rian, this is a matchup that will not occur in the unit-versus-unit league tournament. Both matches appear to be pitted against each other as they prepare for the finals.
After Shirakawa is called, Hamabe volunteers to start the match, saying "Here I go!", and faces off against Natsupoi. Hamabe throws Natsupoi into the ropes and performs an arm whip, and Natsupoi gets on top and goes for the cover, but Hamabe kicks out. Natsupoi delivers a back kick as Hamabe charges, and the Cosmic Angels trio deliver a series of dropkicks. Natsupoi tries to tie up Hamabe's hair, but keeps lying, saying, "I don't have any (hair) with me." Shirakawa checks from ringside, saying, "You've been found out." Kurei body slams Hamabe. Mizumori follows with a body slam and then a reverse Boston crab. Kurei and Natsupoi pull Maika and Shirakawa's legs to prevent them from cutting off the hold. Hamabe manages to escape on her own. Natsupoi drops a dropkick from behind Hamabe, corners her, and delivers a series of elbows. Hamabe is thrown into the corner and lands a dropkick before tagging in Maika. Maika corners Natsupoi and the other two, but Natsupoi and Kurei dodge their charge and dropkick them, but Maika delivers a brainbuster to all of them. Mizumori drops a dropkick in the corner on Maika. Mizumori and Maika clash shoulders. Maika comes out on top, but Mizumori lands a flying shoulder tackle. Maika delivers a powerslam. Shirakawa hits Mizumori with a spear elbow and a hurricanrana-style Kawazu drop. Mizumori and Natsupoi team up and slam Shirakawa to the mat. Mizumori tries a lariat but Shirakawa counters. Kurei hits Shirakawa with a series of dropkicks. Shirakawa dodges Kurei's charge and delivers a neckbreaker. Kurei counters with a series of elbows. Shirakawa hits a rolling elbow, and Kurei jumps in and applies a sleeper hold. She goes for a spear but Shirakawa dodges and Maika catches her and slams her to the mat. Hamabe helps Kurei up and Shirakawa dives but only gets a two count. 10 minutes have passed. Shirakawa tries an implant DDT on Kurei. Kurei rolls her up and hits a Tokimeki Spear, but Hamabe breaks it up. Maika
separates Mizumori and Natsupoi with a lariat, and Shirakawa counters with a back elbow, calls Maika in for a combined press, and then Shirakawa hits an implant DDT. The referee counted to three, and Shirakawa pinned Kurei.
Shirakawa: "So hot (laughs). Osaka, it's been a while! It's really been quite a while since I rode that tour bus, that's for sure. I'm so happy to be able to meet all the Stardom fans and everyone in Osaka again in 2025! Today, the New Year Unit League Tournament has begun. For some reason, EXeXus V's T-shirts are yellow this time. And she (Hamabe) is wearing an orange costume! So, so, how was EXV's match today?"
Hamabe: "It was fun. I enjoyed it."
Shirakawa: "It was fun? You were desperate at the end, weren't you? Enjoying yourself from the heart is the best way to convey your feelings to the audience, so that's very important.
