MATCH REPORT

STARS' Iwatani Mayu, Hanan, Hazuki, and Kogo Momo team will clash with God's Eye's Akari, Kashima Saki, Inaba Tomoka, and Koryu Seika in an eight-person tag team match. Initially, Iwatani, Hanan, Hazuki, Kogo, and Hamabe Matoi team was announced to face Akari, Kashima Saki, Lady C, Inaba Tomoka, and Koryu Seika, but Hamabe will be absent for the first time due to injury, and the card has been changed. Akari will face IWGP Women's Champion Iwatani in a Saree-sponsored event. Both Saree and Akari have publicly stated their desire to win the IWGP Women's Championship, and it will likely be a battle to see who can win Iwatani's heart first. First up is Akari's direct confrontation with Iwatani, and the extent to which she can convey that desire will be the key to what happens next. The bell
rings with Hanan and Koryu as the starters. After a lockup, Koryu landed a series of knees. When he tried to apply an armbar, Hanan reversed and covered, and when he countered, he hit a dropkick. STARS coordinated their attack on Koryu, delivering dropkicks from all four directions. Perhaps paying homage to the absent Saya Iida, Kogo, Iwatani, Hanan, and Hazuki cornered Koryu and performed reverse chops. Hazuki gave Koryu a baptism of facewash. Hanan body slammed Koryu. Koryu followed up with a series of low kicks and a brainbuster on Hanan. Tomoka hit Hanan with a double kick, and then Tomoka and Kashima performed a double kick duel. Tomoka lifted Kashima and declared a "bean sprout drop." She slammed her onto Hanan and Kogo. Hanan hit Tomoka with a crossbody and a running elbow smash. Hazuki hit Tomoka with a spear elbow and a missile kick. Tomoka countered, and Hazuki applied a facelock. Kashima rushes in and hits Hazuki with a Corbata. Akari gives Hazuki a soccer ball kick and a penalty. Hazuki rolls her up, and after a kick from Iwatani, Hazuki hits a Codebreaker. Mukai hits a swan dive missile kick. Akari dodges a 619, but Mukai hits a body attack. Akari applies a kneebar, but Mukai escapes. Hanan cuts off Akari and follows up with a combo attack with STARS, aiming for a combined face crusher, but it's blocked by God's Eye. Akari gives Akari a soccer ball kick and a scorpion hold, but Hazuki cuts off with a drop kick. STARS hits Akari with a combined face crusher. Mukai hits Akari with a neckbreaker and a Northern Lights. 10 minutes have passed. Mukai goes for a 619 DDT on Akari. Akari counters and lifts her up, but Iwatani hits a thrust kick and Mukai hits a magistral. Kogo goes for a thrust kick, but Akari hits a knee attack. When Akari goes for Byakko, Kogo gives up. Then H.A.T.E. intervenes, Konami lifts Akari up, and Koryu kicks her. Konami and Koryu start fighting. Akari glares at Konami.
Konami: "Hey, you bastards from Korakuen. And Akari. It's been a while. (To Koryu) So, who are you? Well, it doesn't matter who it is, but God's Eye is still pretending to be friendly with us. I'll put an end to that soon."
Akari: "Konanami! I've been waiting. Let's continue this battle of the two countries and go all out."

Akari: "Well, on February 2nd, Korakuen Hall was completely sold out, I'm incredibly happy. And after today's match, Konami... it's been a while, I've been waiting. A continuation from Ryogoku, Konami is not like that. Let's go all out."
Koryu: "When I went to Ryogoku, I was also really looking forward to the match between Akari and Konami. But HATE, fouls, weapons... it's all that messed up pro wrestling and it was a completely different match from the Konami I fought a year ago. It seemed like you didn't remember me today either, but I'll make sure you remember."

Iwatani: "The four of us will be teaming up as STARS for the Korakuen Hall event. Koguma just won a singles match and made Yagami do the Kuma... Well, Iida is absent for a bit so instead we put our soul into delivering chops, and from now on... Korakuen Hall was packed to capacity today, so we'll keep working hard to keep it that way. Believe in the present and shine tomorrow, We are STARS!"
