The first round of the tournament will feature Hime Yuria and Rinan. The format is also one in which the newcomer Yuria will challenge the former Future of Stardom champion. Will Yuria surprise with her first victory, or will Rinan, the leader of the NEW BLOOD generation, advance with a commanding victory?
As the bell rings, Yuria delivers a dropkick followed by a series of elbows. Rinan tries to turn around, but Yuria continues to strike and aims for a body slam. However, Rinan slams her back. Yuria returns and elbows Rinan, who is standing with her legs crossed. Rinan takes her down with a big boot and delivers a series of hair whips, then stomps on her face in the corner, shouting, "You damn rookie!" Yuria rushes in with another big boot and a running guillotine. When Rina returns, she kicks both knees up Rina's left arm in an armbreaker, crying, "It's over!" for a Hydrangea. Yuria manages to escape. Rina hits a Northern Lights, but it only gets a two count. Rina stands up and goes for the Pink Devil. Yuria counters with a series of roll-ups. Rinan charges in, and Yuria hits a big boot, then a well-aimed running guillotine. Yuria counters and screams, "I'm going to finish you off!" As Rinan holds back, Yuria hits a series of elbows, then hits a big boot, then a diving double knee from the corner. It seemed like she had it, but Yuria's shoulders rose. Rinan dives from the top, but Yuria dodges. Rinan goes for a jackknife, but Yuria flips over and rolls her up. Rinan blocks Yuria's charge and slams her down, resulting in the three count.
"Haaah, the first round of the Cinderella Tournament. Well, it's not an exaggeration to say that this is a given, but Hime Yuria, you've got guts. A rookie doesn't need any skill, spirit is enough. I had fun. But anyway, the next round of the Cinderella Tournament is the second round, and next week are the semi-finals and finals.
