The first round of the tournament is between Hime Yuria and Rina. It's a matchup where rookie Yuria challenges the former Future of Stardom Champion. Will Yuria surprise everyone with her first victory, or will Rina, who is leading the NEW BLOOD generation, win convincingly and advance?
As soon as the bell rings, Yuria hits a dropkick followed by a series of elbows. Rina tries to turn around, but Yuria continues hitting and attempts a body slam. However, Rina turns the tables and slams her down. Yuria counters and hits an elbow to the standing Rina. Rina takes her down with a big boot and follows up with a series of hair whips, shouting "You damn rookie!" and stomping on her face in the corner. Rina grabs Yuria's right arm and hits a double knee drop. Yuria hits a series of elbows, and Rina hits a big boot. As Rina charges, Yuria hits a dropkick, and after announcing "I'm gonna lift you up!", she hits a body slam and a running guillotine. However, Rina dodges and delivers a dropkick, STO. Yuria retaliates, and Rina climbs onto the corner. Yuria kicks her off onto the apron and delivers another kick. Rina endures and returns to the ring, stopping her charge, and delivers a big boot, shouting, "Don't underestimate me!" Yuria retaliates, and Rina involuntarily mutters, "That was close." They exchange big boots to the face, and Rina takes a series of blows. Yuria charges in for another big boot and delivers a running guillotine. Rina retaliates, and Yuria delivers an armbreaker, kicking her left arm upwards with both knees, and delivers a Hydrangea, shouting, "It's over!" Yuria manages to escape. Rina hits a Northern Lights suplex, but it's only a two count. Rina pulls Yuria up and attempts a Pink Devil. Yuria counters with a series of roll-ups. As Rinami charged, Yuria hit a big boot, then aimed a running guillotine. Yuria kicked out and yelled, "I'm going to finish this!" Rinami endured, and Yuria landed a series of elbows. Rinami hit a big boot and then a diving double knee from the corner. It looked like it was over, but Yuria's shoulders rose. Rinami dove from the top, but Yuria dodged. Rinami went for a jackknife pin, but Yuria reversed and rolled her up. Rinami stopped Yuria's charge and slammed her down for the three count.
"Haaah, the first round of the Cinderella Tournament. Well, it's not an exaggeration to say that this is a given, but Hime Yuria, you've got guts. A rookie doesn't need any skill, spirit is enough. I had fun. But anyway, the next round of the Cinderella Tournament is the second round, and next week are the semi-finals and finals.
