E neXus V's Rian and H.A.T.E.'s Fukigen desu★ have a singles match. In NEW BLOOD, Yoneyama Kaori appeared and faced Rian, and they hit it off. They also entered the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Championship next challenger determination tournament. This time, the grumpy Fukigen is facing Rian, so a match completely different from when they teamed up, yet still normal, is expected.
Fukigen slips past Rian and strikes the "Desu" pose on all four sides. Rian attacks, and they grapple for arms. Fukigen puts in a headlock, and Rian throws him into the ropes. Then Fukigen makes a smoking pose. The referee warns him that he is not allowed to smoke. 20-year-old Rian pretends to snatch the cigarette and smokes, but chokes. Fukigen attacks, giving her a hair whip and stomping on her face. When Fukigen's cover is reversed, he applies a camel clutch. When Rian escapes, Fukigen tries to attack with a spear. But as expected, each time she gets a leg kick. Rian lands a hurricanrana followed by a dropkick. Fukigen attempts a body slam but is countered and hit with a stunner. Rian slams him down and goes for the cover but only gets a two count. Rian goes for a fisherman suplex but Fukigen rolls her up. Rian rolls her up again after Fukigen tries a second roll-up. Fukigen reverses, but Rian keeps rolling her up. Fukigen gets on top and pins her for the three count.
