Tam Nakano & Saori Anna vs. Yuna Mizumori & Aya Sakura will face off against fellow Cosmic Angels wrestlers. Nakano left Stardom after losing to Saya Kamitani and is now a free agent. A rematch has also been scheduled for April 27th at Yokohama Arena, with her retirement at stake. Attention is focused on whether this change in status will affect this matchup. Mizumori & Sakura also secured their spot in the New Blood Tag Team Championship after winning the tournament to determine the next challenger. They'll be looking to leave their mark on Nakano & Anna ahead of their match against Hanako & Waka Tsukiyama.
Sakura and Nakano will be starting the match. After a lockup, Nakano pushes forward, then Sakura turns around and elbows them. They move to the ropes, and Sakura delivers a close-range dropkick. Mizumori hits a lariat from close range. Sakura hits Nakano with a skewering spinning kick, a cartwheel body press, and a series of middle kicks. Nakano catches and hits a spinning kick, and Sakura counters with a middle kick. Nakano follows with a back drop and a knee attack. As Sakura returned the blow, Mizumori intervened with an elbow. Anna stepped in, but Mizumori hit a lariat. Sakura hit Nakano with a Northern Lights. After 10 minutes, Nakano returned the blow, and Sakura hit a diving knee attack from the corner. Mizumori stepped in and delivered a double heel drop, with Sakura kicking her in the face and going for a triangle choke. Nakano somehow escaped. Mizumori lifted Nakano up, but they fought back, and Anna hit a missile kick. Nakano and Anna performed a combined German suplex, and Nakano did the German suplex. But Sakura countered. Nakano hit a Twilight Dream and got the three count.
Nakano: "Sakura has really gotten strong. This final Twilight Dream is a gift of encouragement from Tamu. Definitely beat that Barbie doll and come back with the belt. Yunamon, thank you so much for supporting Sakura. Promise me you two will definitely win the NEW BLOOD tag team!"
At that moment, Unagi Sayaka's theme song hit.
Unagi appeared on stage.
