Anne Kanaya, who made her debut in Okinawa 2DAYS, made her first appearance in NEW BLOOD in her third match. She faced Rina, who has been leading NB, having won the Future of Stardom Championship and the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Championship.
After a lock-up, Kanaya grabbed Rina's arm, and Rina took it back. After a struggle for the arm, Kanaya transitioned to a leg scissors and then a headlock. Rina regained control and tightened the hold, but Kanaya threw her into the ropes. Rina refused, saying "Are you gonna go for it!", and they exchanged covers. Rina took Kanaya's elbows and dropkicks in rapid succession and stood up. Rina dodged a dropkick and delivered a series of stomps and hair whips, saying "Nice to meet you, you damn rookie!" as she stomped on Kanaya's face. Kanaya retaliated, and Rina stood firm. Kanaya delivered a series of elbows, and Rina responded with a big boot. Kanaya dodges Rinami and delivers a dropkick, then another one in the corner. Rinami kicks out, and Kanaya signals a body slam. Rinami resists and hits a big boot on the ropes followed by a dropkick. Rinami goes for a Hydrangea, but Kanaya manages to escape. Rinami hits a diving foot stomp from the corner. Kanaya dodges and hits an arm whip followed by a dropkick and a bulldog headlock. Rinami kicks out, and Kanaya prepares for a body slam. Rinami resists, but Kanaya manages to throw her. Kanaya kicks out and goes for a series of cover attempts. Rinami survives and gets back up after taking a series of elbows. Rinami hits a hip toss as Kanaya charges. Rinami hits a Northern Lights suplex, but it's only a two count. Rinami signals the end, but Kanaya rolls her up repeatedly. Rinami countered Kanaya's inverted pin and delivered an armbreaker followed by a Hydrangea, declaring "It's over." However, Kanaya's foot reached the ropes. As Rinami went for the Pink Devil, Kanaya countered with a dropkick. Kanaya jumped and rolled her up for a pin, but it was only a two count. Rinami responded to Kanaya's charge with a big boot. She climbed onto the corner and delivered a diving double knee. Kanaya couldn't kick out and was counted to three. After the match, Rinami approached Kanaya, but Kanaya pushed her away.
