STARS, consisting of Iwatani Mayu, Hanan, and Kogo Momo, will face God's Eye, consisting of Akari, Inaba Tomoka, and Yagami Ranna, in a six-person tag team match. This will be a warm-up match for Iwatani and Akari, who will face off for the IWGP Women's Championship at Yokohama Arena on April 27th. At the press conference, Akari shows off her swollen legs, the result of her training (?), leaving Iwatani shocked. Judging from the previous day's match, Akari doesn't seem affected, but how will she react against Iwatani?
Kogo overpowers her partner and volunteers to start, facing Yagami. After a feeling-out, Yagami grabs her arm, and Kogo fights back. Yagami takes a headlock and performs an arm whip. Yagami dodged a charge and delivered a thrust high kick, followed by a drop kick and a middle kick. Tomoka delivered a double kick to Mukaigo. When STARS intervened, God's Eye also intervened, and Akari and Tomoka performed a soccer ball kick duel. Tomoka also delivered a soccer ball kick to Mukaigo. Iwatani retaliates and exchanges elbows. Akari hits a series of punches, and Iwatani hits a back elbow, followed by a knee. Hanan intervenes, and Kogo and Iwatani hit a 619, followed by STARS hitting a combined face crusher. However, Akari's shoulder rises. Iwatani threatens to throw her, taking her back. Akari counters with a Codebreaker, then Tomoka and Yagami exchange kicks, then Akari hits a penalty kick and an armlock. 10 minutes have passed. Yagami and Tomoka receive body attacks from Hanan and Mukai. Iwatani hits a tope suicida outside the ring. Iwatani announces her finish and prepares for a dragon. Akari holds on and hits a lariat. Iwatani dodges and hits a thrust kick with Mukai, then a German suplex. STARS combines, and Mukai hits a missile kick followed by a thrust kick from Iwatani. Iwatani counters, lifting Akari and going for the dragon. Akari fights back, but hits a thrust kick and a dragon, resulting in the three count.
Iwatani: "Good evening everyone in Nagoya! Thank you. Damn! The power of that kick is incredible. My hands, my hands are numb. You're kicking something hard, after all. I'll win this preliminary match, and on April 27th, I will make you the 10th victim of the IWGP (Women's)."
Akari: "I lost today, but I will never let her defend the title for the 10th time on April 27th. I will definitely take this IWGP from Iwatani Mayu and put it on her. Remember that."
Akari leaves the ring.
