God's Eye's Shuri & Yagami Ranna team faced off against God's Eye's Hinami & Inaba Tomoka in a tag team match. This match served as a prelude to the Future of Stardom Championship match between Hinami and Yagami on April 27th at Yokohama Arena. This was Hinami's first match since entering university and attending her entrance ceremony. Yagami challenged Hinami. Which of them would take the lead on the way to the title match?
The match started with Hinami and Yagami as the starters. Yagami took Hinami to the ground with a tackle and grabbed her neck. Hinami got behind her and went for a neck lock. Yagami got behind Hinami, but Hinami got it back. After a struggle for the back, Yagami grabbed her arm. Hinami fought back and they continued to grapple for the arm. Yagami went for a headlock, followed by an arm whip and a dropkick. Tomoka interfered with Yagami's dash, and Hinami delivered a body slam. Yagami kicked out, but Hinami followed up with more body slams and a camel clutch. Tomoka hits Yagami with a running knee, a kick to the face, and a face lock. Yagami escapes and lands a series of low kicks. Tomoka fights back, but Yagami lands a series of knees. Yagami slips past Tomoka and lands a dropkick. Shuri lands a dropkick and a running knee on Tomoka. Hinami interferes and tries to team up with Tomoka. However, Shuri lands a dropkick on both of them and a soccer ball kick on Tomoka. Shuri provokes Tomoka, making her try a soccer ball kick. Shuri lands another soccer ball kick. Tomoka blocks the penalty kick and applies a standing heel hold. Shuri counters and charges forward, but Tomoka lands a spinning kick. Hinami attacks Shuri with a running dropkick. Shuri retaliates and lands a complete shot on Hinami. Yagami offers to tag and hits Hinami with a dropkick, a running knee attack, a soccer ball kick, and an armbar. When Hinami escaped, Yagami landed a series of low and middle kicks. Hinami hit Yagami with a backbreaker and a reverse Boston crab. When Yagami escaped, they exchanged elbows. Yagami countered with a middle kick, and Hinami hit a hip toss. Yagami countered the throw and went for an armbar. When Yagami escaped, she hit a PK followed by a DDT. When Hinami kicked out, Yagami shouted "I'm going to finish this!" and hit a buzzsaw kick. Hinami dodged it, and Tomoka hit a knee, and Hinami hit a modified back drop. Hinami kicked out and went for a Jackhammer. Yagami held on and rolled her up. When Hinami kicked out, Yagami hit a high kick, and Hinami immediately got up and hit a neckbreaker. As Hinami charged, Shuri interfered and hit a high kick, and Yagami hit a Zero Fighter Kick. When Hinami kicked out, Yagami hit a high kick. Hinami couldn't kick out, and Yagami got the three count.
Yagami: "In the first preliminary match, I got the pinfall on Hinami! I will learn from Hinami in each match and grow stronger so that I can definitely wear that belt at Yokohama Arena."
Hinami: "Yagami, that's great. Yagami was much, much stronger than I thought. But it's still not enough. I lost today so I can't say too much, but I want to experience you, Yagami Ranna, more. We have another preliminary match tomorrow, so let's have fun tomorrow too."
Yagami: "Tomorrow will be another God's Eye showdown. I'll learn from you from across the ring, so please look forward to it at Yokohama Arena."
