A tag match between God's Eye's Akari & Yagami Ranna and Stars' Iida Saya & Kogo Momo. At the Yokohama Arena on April 27th, Akari defeated Iwatani Mayu to capture the IWGP Women's Championship, while Yagami lost to fellow wrestler Hinan and failed to capture the Future of Stardom Championship. Despite their differences, the two will team up to face STARS in this tournament. STARS' Iida defeated Hazuki & Koguma to defend the Goddess of Stardom Championship with Hanan. However, after losing to Akari, Iwatani announced her departure from Stardom. Everyone, including Kogo, is likely in shock. The future direction of STARS, including the relationship between Hazuki and Hanan, is a matter of interest.
Yagami volunteered to be the starter and faced Iida. The match began with a lockup test of strength, with Iida pushing forward. After breaking free, Iida showed off his macho poses in all directions. Yagami kicked him away. Yagami launched a dropkick, but Iida dodged it, rolled him up, and sent him flying with a shoulder tackle. Mukaigo and Iida combined forces, landing a dropkick and a hip drop, followed by a double dropkick from each side. Yagami returned the blow and Mukaigo hit an armbreaker, but Akari prevented Iida from cutting in and supported him with a modified cobra twist. Yagami continued to apply the armlock. For some reason, Iida and Akari were showing off their muscle poses outside the ring. Yagami delivered a knee drop to Mukaigo's right arm. Akari delivered multiple soccer ball kicks to Mukaigo, then drove him into the corner and stomped on him repeatedly. Iida cut him off, but Akari put Mukaigo in a sleeper hold. Yagami delivered a soccer ball kick to Mukaigo. Mukaigo returned the blow and Yagami delivered multiple kicks to his arm, before Mukaigo countered with a dropkick. Iida cornered Yagami and unleashed a series of reverse chops. Iida yelled, "Here we go, you idiot!" and delivered an elbow drop. Yagami countered with a dropkick and a penalty kick, but only got a two count. Akari delivered a dropkick, knee attack, and front neck chancery drop to Iida. As Iida returned the blow, Akari delivered a series of knees to the stomach and charged forward with precision. Iida dodged and launched the Iida Rocket. Mukaigo hit a swan dive missile kick at Akari and went for a 619. Akari dodged, but Mukaigo turned around and delivered a body attack. Akari slammed Mukaigo to the mat and applied an armbar. As Mukaigo escaped, she dodged a lariat, drawing a jumping chop from Iida. Mukaigo hit a dropkick, but only got a two count. Yagami blocked Mukaigo's charge and she and Akari performed a double suplex. Askari kicked, Mukaigo kicked back. Akari then goes for an armlock. However, Iida is able to cut her off in time. Akari lifts her up, but Mukaigo rolls her up. Akari returns, and Iida supports her with a lariat, followed by a 619 from Mukaigo, and then Iida and Mukaigo combine for a face crusher. However, Akari manages to counter. 10 minutes have passed. Mukaigo attempts a neckbreaker, but Akari counters. Mukaigo prepares for a Nectar Peach on Akari, aiming for the finish. Akari dodges, and Yagami hits a Zero Fighter Kick, followed by a knee attack from Akari. After Mukaigo counters, Akari charges at her, but is hit with a thrust kick. Akari blocks Mukaigo's charge and transitions from an armlock to a ground-style Suzaku. Mukaigo is forced to give up, giving Akari the win.
