Starlight Kid, AZM, and Mitsuyoshi Amasaki of Neo Genesis will clash with Maika, HANAKO, and Rian of EXV in a six-woman tag team match. Kid's team is the current Artist of Stardom champion, and Kid and AZM recently faced off for Kid's Wonder of Stardom Championship. At Yokohama Arena, Kid secured a long-awaited victory over AZM, winning the match against her stablemate and becoming the leader of Neo Genesis. This match could be seen as the start of the new Neo Genesis. Furthermore, HANAKO, who won the Rumble match at Yokohama Arena, has been named the next challenger for the white belt. Therefore, this match is also a preliminary battle leading up to the title match. EXV has also just announced that Maika will be taking a long leave of absence, following Mina Shirakawa's transfer to AEW. Maika will be out of action after Golden Week, so what will she leave behind for the other members before then?
HANAKO steps towards the opposing corner and stares down Kid. The match started with Kid and HANAKO comparing their heights. HANAKO raised her hand in a taunt. Kid, unable to reach, stomped on her foot and tried to throw her into the ropes. HANAKO resisted and charged in with a corner attack. Kid dodged and attempted a cross body, but HANAKO caught it and slammed her to the mat. She then applied a reverse Boston crab to force a submission. HANAKO was cut off and handed the match to Rian. Rian delivered a corner dropkick to Kid. When Kid resisted a body slam, Rian delivered a dropkick. However, Kid countered with a body attack followed by a standing moonsault press. AZM and Amasaki performed a double kick followed by a dropkick. AZM delivered a soccer ball kick to Rian. Amasaki delivered a body slam to Rian. Rian retaliated with a series of elbows. Amasaki fought back, but Rian landed a cross body. HANAKO delivered a shoulder tackle and an Argentine backbreaker to Amasaki. Kid tries to intervene, but HANAKO follows up with a series of impaling attacks, a combined impaling body attack, and a dropkick. When Amasaki retaliates, she goes after HANAKO with a barrage of elbows. Amasaki counters HANAKO's brainbuster with a DDT. AZM slips past HANAKO but is slammed down with a backflip. Maika hits AZM with a corner lariat and a shoulder tackle. AZM blocks the brainbuster and exchanges elbows with Maika. AZM reads Maika's movements and delivers a dropkick. When Maika retaliates, AZM warns, "I'm going to throw you!" Maika counters AZM's brainbuster attempt and goes for a brainbuster of her own. AZM resists and goes for a neck lock, but Maika resists and forcefully delivers a brainbuster. AZM retaliates and dodges Maika's lariat. Maika dodges a kick, but AZM's kick connects. Maika stops AZM's charge and delivers a powerslam. Rian hits Tensaki with a dropkick, a hurricanrana, and another dropkick. Tensaki retaliates, dodges Rian's charge, and Kid, AZM, and Tensaki launch a series of corner attacks, a triple dropkick, and Tensaki delivers a face crusher. Maika cuts Tensaki off, HANAKO delivers a body press, and Rian delivers a foot stomp. 10 minutes have passed. Tensaki dodges Rian's dive. Rian delivers a series of elbows, and Tensaki hits a DDT, elbow, and another DDT. Tensaki declares she's going for the finish as Rian kicks out. However, Rian counters and rolls her up after a lariat from Maika. Kid hits Maika and HANAKO with a hurricanrana. Kid and AZM split EXV with a series of dropkicks. After catching Rian and slamming her to the mat, Tensaki picked her up and delivered the Tensei. The referee counted to three, and Tensaki defeated Rian.
Kid: "HANAKO, well, there were times today when you were stopped, but show us a stronger HANAKO. You can do more than that!"
HANAKO: "Right now, I have to take this white belt for EXV. On May 21st at Korakuen Hall, I'll show you a stronger me and take this belt for sure!"
Kid held the belt high and HANAKO reached for it. Kid retreated to avoid having the belt snatched away, and HANAKO and the others left the ring.
