At the Yokohama Arena on April 27th, Shuri defeated Mayu Iwatani to finally claim the coveted IWGP Women's Championship. Now, as God's Eye, she will face off against Hazuki, Koguma, and Hime Yuria, alongside Saki Kashima and Ranna Yagami. How Hazuki and Koguma of FWC lead the rookie Yuria will likely be key to the match. This will also be Kashima's return match after being sidelined due to illness. While she may be overshadowed by the new champion Shuri, she is sure to stir things up.
"Nobody's going to do the bear pose (in God's Eye)," said Shuri. Without being asked, she declared to the referee, "We're not doing the bear." The referee then told STARS, "It seems they're not doing the bear." Then Koguma shook hands with Kashima and said, "Congratulations." When Kashima responded, Koguma said, "I'll do the bear to celebrate your return." Shuri asks Kashima, "Are you going to do it?", but once the match starts, Kashima strikes a bear pose with Koguma. Koguma invites Shuri to join in, but Shuri attacks, saying, "No way!". Shuri, whose arm is grabbed, pushes Koguma away. Koguma gets Shuri in a camel clutch. Shuri screams, "Stop it!". As Koguma tries to force Shuri into a bear pose, Yagami delivers a middle kick from behind. Shuri and Yagami try to team up, but STARS dodges. Shuri delivers a series of knees to Yuria. "Yuria, you're going to do the bear pose, right!" Yagami says, delivering a series of soccer ball kicks. Kashima provokes Shuri, saying, "Nice to meet you, Yuria. We have the IWGP (Women's) Champion on our side. Do you think you can win?", and sends Shuri out. Shuri delivers a soccer ball kick to Yuria. Yuria goes after Shuri with an elbow. Shuri taunts, "Is that all you've got?", and takes a barrage of elbows. Shuri kicks her down and delivers a series of stomps. Yuria throws a dropkick and passes to Hazuki. Hazuki hits Shuri with a missile kick. Hazuki calls in Koguma, and they team up to attack Shuri and Kashima. STARS and Yuria deliver a three-way face wash. Hazuki hits Shuri with a brainbuster. Shuri counters, stops Hazuki's charge, slams her to the mat, and delivers a PK. Yagami drops a dropkick to Hazuki. With an assist from Koguma, Hazuki hits a Codebreaker. Yuria delivers a series of big boots to Yagami. She dodges Yagami and hits another one. Yagami counters, dodges a guillotine, and delivers a dropkick. They exchange elbows. God's Eye prevents any interference and supports Yagami with a submission hold. Yuria escapes Yagami's armlock. Yuria counters with a big boot followed by a guillotine choke. Yagami kicks out, and Yuria charges, receiving a high kick, a running high kick, a dropkick, and a PK. Kashima offers to tag and covers Yuria repeatedly. Kashima returns to the corner, but Yuria pulls her and delivers a series of elbows. Yuria charges forward with renewed determination, but Kashima gets a big boot and sets up a double armlock. Yuria counters, with Hazuki and Koguma providing support, and Yuria goes for a running guillotine. Yuria is kicked out, and she screams, "I'm going to finish this!" and takes Kashima's back. Kashima counters and rolls her up for the three count.
