Cosmic Angels, consisting of Natsupoi, Anno Saori, and Mizumori Yuna, faced off against EXV, consisting of Tsukiyama Waka, HANAKO, and Rian, in a six-person tag team match. EXV is currently a three-person team with Shirakawa Mina overseas and Maika out on a long-term hiatus. Moreover, the team is composed entirely of young members, so the highlight will be seeing how well they can challenge the core members of Cosmic Angels, such as Natsupoi and Anno. In particular, HANAKO, who challenged Starlight Kid for the white belt at Korakuen Hall the other day, will be put to the test to see if her awakening is real.
Rian volunteered to start the match, and Natsupoi also volunteered. As soon as the bell rang, Rian delivered a dropkick, followed by a series of arm whips and another dropkick. HANAKO hits Mizumori with a big boot, and Anno enters the ring and tries to team up with Mizumori, but HANAKO hits Mizumori with a series of corner body attacks and a knee drop. They clash shoulders, and HANAKO comes out on top. Mizumori resists HANAKO's attempt at a brainbuster and exchanges lariats with her. Mizumori slips past HANAKO and hits a lariat. An enraged HANAKO hits a brainbuster. Tsukiyama and Natsupoi exchange kicks. Natsupoi stomps on Tsukiyama's hand. Tsukiyama hits a hell thrust, Natsupoi hits a dropkick, Tsukiyama dodges the second and hits a hip attack, then a Palo Special. Natsupoi escapes and counters Tsukiyama's attempt at a Gokuraku Don with a neckbreaker and a dropkick. Anno hits Tsukiyama with a missile kick, HANAKO interferes with a shoulder tackle, Tsukiyama hits a cross body, they combine for a hip press, and Tsukiyama hits a hip attack. Rian hits Anno with a series of dropkicks, a hurricanrana, and another dropkick. Anno retaliates with a big boot. After an exchange of elbows, Rian hits a flurry of blows. Anno takes her down with a well-aimed elbow, then hits a big boot and a series of slaps. HANAKO hits a body attack, Tsukiyama interferes with a hip drop, and Rian uses HANAKO as a springboard for a foot stomp and a sleeper hold. Rian is cut off and hits Anno with a fisherman suplex. Anno retaliates with a big boot. Natsupoi and Mizumori assist, and the trio delivers a heel drop. Anno attempts a fisherman suplex, but Tsukiyama makes an early stop. Natsupoi and Anno eliminate HANAKO, and Rian attempts a series of roll-ups on Anno. Anno withstands the series of pins, and Rian delivers a barrage of mounted elbows. Anno stops Rian's charge and delivers a German suplex, and as Rian gets up, Anno hits a neckbreaker followed by another German suplex to get the three count.
Anno: "Rian, I really like how you're so determined to win. But you know, I've been determined to win for years now. If you're feeling frustrated, never forget that determination."
As Rian turned to Anno, Anno stroked Rian's head. Natsupoi:
"You grow stronger when you're going through tough times. It's a phrase I've always cherished, and I think it's a phrase that applies to you guys now, Rian. I'm looking forward to May 31st. We've overcome this feeling of frustration over and over again to make it this far for 10 years. We're finally just one week away from our 10th anniversary show. We've been preparing for this day since last year. We've worked hard to think of the best way to show you the best view and to express our gratitude. I think it will be the culmination of our 10 years together. I think it will be the day we take a new step forward. We're in Osaka, but we're really looking forward to seeing you in Ota Ward!
