E neXus V's Rian and Diana's Hatano Nanami faced off in a singles match. Rian had volunteered to be Ito Kaoru's partner at the 5/31 Ota Ward event, but lost to the team of Hotta Yumiko & Kano Miku. She was aiming for her first victory on her own, but suffered the humiliation of losing to her contemporary, Kano. This match could be seen as a chance to start anew. Her opponent was Nanami, who had more experience, but she wanted to somehow snatch her first victory.
Rian offered a handshake, which Hatano accepted, and the match began. Rian landed a series of elbows followed by a cross body. Hatano jumped off twice and delivered a high body slam followed by a reverse figure-four leglock to force a submission. When Rian escaped, Hatano said, "Is this all Stardom has to offer?" and landed a series of elbows. Rian turned and landed an elbow, but was sent flying by a shoulder tackle. Dodging Hatano, Rian landed a stunner and a cross body. When Hatano retaliates, she gets behind Rian and puts her in a sleeper hold. Rian escapes and dodges Hatano's charge, then jumps on her and applies another sleeper hold. Hatano pushes her into the corner to escape, but Rian delivers a hurricanrana followed by a dropkick. Hatano retaliates, anticipates Rian's charge, and delivers a shoulder tackle and a body slam, which she then follows up with. "It's over!" she shouts, and applies a reverse figure-four leglock. Hatano taunts Rian while tightening the hold even further. Rian manages to reach the ropes. Rian throws an elbow, and Hatano retaliates. After an exchange of elbows, Hatano charges, but Rian stops her and delivers a neckbreaker followed by a sleeper hold. Hatano gets up, but Rian continues to apply the hold. When Hatano escapes, Rian signals and prepares for a body slam. Hatano counters and slams her down in the opposite direction. Rian gets up and delivers a series of elbows, a stunner, and a diving body attack. 10 minutes have passed. Hatano lifted Rian up, but Rian rolled her up. Hatano went for a throw, but Rian countered and rolled her up. Hatano kicked out, caught Rian's charge and slammed her forward. Hatano was certain of victory, but Rian raised her shoulder. Hatano climbed to the corner and went for a diving body press. Rian couldn't kick out, and Hatano won.
Hatano: "Rian, how was your singles match against Hatano Nanami, the tag team champion of Diana? I think Stardom is an organization that has the perfect environment for professional wrestlers. Newcomers are debuting one after another, so is it okay to stop there? You can do more, right? I don't participate in Stardom every time, so I can't say that I know the wrestlers in detail, but I think Rian can still do more. I hope we can fight again next time."
Hinami took Hatano's place in the ring.
Hinami: "Rian, I was watching your match. You're really interesting right now. On the contrary, why haven't you shown this before?
