A singles match between Rian and Tetsu Akira. At "NEW BLOOD 22" in Itabashi on June 4th, Future of Stardom Champion Hinami provoked Rian. Akira then appeared, and Rian proposed that whoever won would challenge Hinami for the Future Championship. The champion agreed, and the winner of this match would challenge for the title. the ring, greeted by Tsukiyama and HANAKO. After some feeling each other out, Rian attempts a tackle and goes for Akira's back. Akira counters, and Rian goes for Akira's neck. Akira grabs Rian's arm, but Rian escapes, and they stare each other down. From a lock-up, Rian applies a headlock. Akira throws Rian into the ropes and delivers an arm whip, but Rian retaliates with a dropkick. Rian tries to psych herself up, but Akira grabs her hair and throws her. Akira corners Rian and stomps on her face, then, even more determined than Rian, unleashes a barrage of elbows and chops. Akira gets countered with a dropkick and goes for a face lock. Rian escapes, and Akira stomps on her. Rian throws an elbow, and Akira retaliates. Akira taunts Rian, and Rian hits her with a flurry of blows. Akira retaliates with a flurry of blows of her own. Rian does an arm whip followed by a dropkick. Akira hits a Kawazu Otoshi followed by a face lock. Rian escapes, and Akira goes for a half hatch. Rian resists and hits a stunner followed by a sleeper hold to the ground. Akira manages to escape. Rian gets psyched up and climbs to the corner, calls Akira over, and hits her with a diving body attack. Akira counters, and Rian charges at her, hitting her with a neckbreaker. Rian quickly gets back up, but Akira hits her with a half-hatch suplex. Both are down, and Akira grabs Rian's hair and hits her with an elbow. Rian retaliates, sending Akira flying with an elbow. After an exchange of elbows, Akira gets on top and hits a series of punches. Akira screams and attempts a lariat, but Rian dodges and pins her. She reverses and Akira goes for a series of roll-ups. Akira endures and hits an elbow. Akira screams and charges, but gets hit with an elbow. Akira slams the mat and gets back up, and Rian hits her with a stunner, then jumps and rolls her up for the three count. Rian gets her first victory. After the match, Hinami takes the belt and enters the ring.
Hinami: "Rian, congratulations on your first singles win. But Rian, you're not satisfied with just winning here, are you? Winning here today means that it's decided that you'll be fighting for the Future Championship on June 21st at Yoyogi, right? Rian, are you ready to fight for the belt? I'm looking forward to it, Rian."
Rian: "I will definitely win! Hinami said she was looking forward to seeing me, but I'm not the same person I used to be! You're the one who should be prepared, Hinami." Hinami:
"Of course, Rian. Just make sure you come at me with enough confidence so that when the match is over, people don't think I was just trying to get some title defense points.
