Hinami didn't let Rian escape and transitioned into an STF. Rian managed to escape somehow. Hinami pulled her up and delivered a modified rock bottom. When Rian kicked out, Hinami lifted her up and dropped her to the side. As Rian kicked out, Hinami declared she was going for the finish and climbed to the corner. Rian caught up, but Hinami kicked her away. Rian tried again and climbed to the corner, where she delivered a superplex neckbreaker. Climbing to the opposite corner, Rina delivered a diving body attack. When Hina countered, Rina locked in a sleeper hold. Hina stood up and slammed Rina backwards, but it was only a two count. Rina jumped on her from behind, but Hina fended her off and applied a Gedo Clutch. Rina countered and delivered a series of elbows. Ten minutes had passed. Hina stopped Rina's charge and threw her backwards. Rina stood up and went for a roll-up. Hina countered and went for a Jackhammer on Rina. Rina resisted, but Hina used the hang time to execute the move. However, Rina reversed the cover. Hina kicked out, but Rina was down. Hina slammed Rina onto the mat and declared it the finish with a Mad Splash. Rina couldn't kick out, and Hina successfully defended her title.
Hinami: "Rian, you've gotten so strong. I was saying such terrible things about you before the match, but Rian, you've really grown. When I look at you, it reminds me of my younger self, and it makes me kind of sad... I mean, there were times when I couldn't beat you... yeah. But what I want to tell Rian is that just because you're young doesn't guarantee you'll be able to continue wrestling for a long time. Don't waste this time in your youth, and I want you to keep climbing higher and higher. When you get even stronger, I'll be waiting for you, so come and challenge me again."
Rian: "Next time I challenge you, I'll definitely wear the Future belt!"
